Abstract

The term of Murabbi is identified with the task of educating their students to be professionally creative and innovative. The root word of professionalism is a profession, which is in general understood as an inborn gifted talent from God to human being. Muhammadiyah and Nahdatul Ulama (NU) as the Islamic biggest organizations in the Republic of Indonesia, understand the issue of such talent, not solely on the principles of the religion, but it can be combined with modern science that advances education competencies. Competent education can develop common sense of the students, promote and enlighten their lives. This article has aimed at recognizing, elaborating and understanding professional Murabbi in term of Muhammadiyah and NU education. The study employed historical studies as a part of qualitative research in a descriptive model to obtain the actual reality. Depth interviews with some public figures from both Muhammadiyah and NU and document analysis were conducted to collect the empiric data. The research has revealed that education run by Muhammadiyah and NU has been inclined to the creation of the appropriate individual nature, and professional capability to become change of agents based on the advanced principles of Islamic teachings, which its aim is to enlighten humanity. Additionally, the essence of Muhammadiyah and NU education is to humanize humans, based on the essence of human nature itself that always spreads compassion and has principles to the roots of imanan wahtisaban Kemurabbian (believe wholeheartedly and hope to get reward from Allah, God Almighty) without exploiting their students.

Abstract

Sistem Informasi Manajemen (SIM) memainkan peran krusial dalam mendukungpengambilan keputusan yang efektif di berbagai organisasi, termasuk di lembagapendidikan tingkat pendidikan sekolah menengah kejuruan. Di SMKN 3 Sinjai,penggunaan sistem informasi manajemen akan membantu pihak manajemen dalammemproses data siswa, keuangan, dan kegiatan sekolah secara lebih efisien danakurat. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk mengungkapkan bagaimana sistem informasimanajemen berkontribusi dalam proses pengambilan keputusan yang lebih tepat,cepat, dan berbasis data. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu motode kualitatifbersifat deskriptif. Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa dengan adanya sisteminformasi manajemen, para pengambil keputusan di SMKN 3 Sinjai dapat merancangkebijakan dan strategi yang lebih relevan dan tepat sasaran, terutama dalammeningkatkan kualitas pendidikan dan administrasi sekolah. Melalui pemanfaatansistem informasi manajemen, SMKN 3 Sinjai dapat meminimalkan kesalahanmanusia dan meningkatkan transparansi dalam pengelolaan sekolah.

Abstract

The role of communication in improving the organizational performance of the Education Technology Study Program Student Association at Muhammadiyah University of Makassar is the subject of this research. The method used is qualitative with a descriptive approach. Effective communication, both vertical and horizontal, significantly affects organizational performance, especially in terms of coordinating activities, resolving conflicts, and achieving organizational goals. The results showed that effective communication, both vertically (between leaders and members) and horizontally (between fields and among members), had a significant effect on organizational performance. Open and participatory communication encourages more efficient coordination of activities, minimizes internal conflicts, and accelerates the achievement of common goals.

Abstract

The advancement of digital technology has driven changes in the learning process, notably through the use of viewing activities as a learning medium. This study aims to analyze the communication process within learning activities involving viewing, examine the application of communication theories, and determine the effectiveness of viewing activities in fostering learner understanding. A descriptive qualitative method was employed, utilizing a literature review approach that incorporated various analyses of existing literature, relevant prior research, and interviews. The findings indicate that the communication process is facilitated by the quality of video-based materials, which help learners grasp information in a more engaging and accessible manner. The application of communication theories is evident in the use of audiovisual media combined with "active viewing" strategies such as the use of guiding questions, worksheets, pause-and-reflect techniques, and post-viewing discussions to enhance learner engagement and critical thinking skills. Despite challenges regarding limited facilities and internet connectivity, teachers overcome these issues by selecting appropriate, short-duration videos and combining them with lecture and discussion methods. Thus, viewing activities serve as a relevant learning strategy capable of enhancing the quality of the teaching-learning process in the digital era which is in line with the sub-topic of the Learning and learning course.

Abstract

Research The development of digital technology in the world of education requires innovation in the learning process that is not only visually appealing, but also has a strong theoretical foundation. This study aims to analyze the implementation of learning theory in educational media design using Canva and its relevance in increasing student engagement. This study uses a qualitative approach that is descriptive with data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of the study show that Canva-based learning media designed based on the theories of behaviorism, cognitivism, and constructivism can increase students' attention, understanding, and activeness. In addition, this media also provides a more meaningful learning experience because it integrates the visual aspects and cognitive processes of students. Thus, the implementation of behaviorism, cognitivism, and constructivism theories in educational media design using Canva has been proven to support the creation of a more effective, interactive, and meaningful learning process and in accordance with the sub-topics of learning and learning courses. Therefore, Canva can be used as an innovative learning media alternative to improve the quality of learning in schools, especially at SMK Negeri 1 Takalar.
