Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan: (1) menjelaskan pengaruh secara simultan Gaya Kepemimpinan Direktif, Gaya Kepemimpinan Suportif dan Gaya Kepemimpinan Partisipatif terhadap Motivasi Kerja Karyawan, (2) menjelaskan pengaruh secara parsial Gaya Kepemimpinan Direktif, Suportif dan Partisipatif terhadap Motivasi Kerja Karyawan, (3) menjelaskan variabel mana diantara Gaya Kepemimpinan Direktif, Suportif dan Partisipatif yang paling berpengaruh terhadap Motivasi Kerja Karyawan. Studi ini dilakukan pada karyawan Radar Malang PT. Intermedia Pers. Jenis penelitian ini yaitu explanatory research, alat pengumpulan data berupa kuesioner yang disebarkan kepada responden dengan sampel sebanyak 32 karyawan dan daftar wawancara yang ditujukan kepada pimpinan. Analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis deskriptif dan analisisi linear berganda dengan bantuan software SPSS v 16 for windows. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa secara simultan, Gaya Kepemimpinan Direktif, Gaya Kepemimpinan Suportif  dan Gaya Kepemimpinan Partisipatif berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap motivasi kerja karyawan. Penelitian ini juga menghasilkan pengaruh secara parsial dari masing-masing variabel bebas  terhadap variabel tetap yang dibuktikan dengan untuk variabel gaya kepemimpinan direktif  bahwa berpengaruh signifikan terhadap varibel motivasi kerja karyawan. Untuk variabel gaya kepemimpinan suportif memiliki hasil berpengaruh signifikan terhadap varibel motivasi kerja karyawan. Untuk variabel gaya kepemimpinan partisipatif berpengaruh signifikan terhadap varibel motivasi kerja karyawan. Sedangkan untuk variabel bebas yang paling dominan diantara variabel bebas lainnya terhadap variabel tetap adalah variabel gaya kepemimpinan partisipatif. Kontribusi dari variabel-variabel bebas yang disertakan dalam persamaan regresi terhadap variabel tetap, adalah sebesar  80,9 %, sedangkan 19,1 % lainnya disumbangkan oleh variabel lainnya yang tidak dimasukkan ke dalam persamaan ini. Abstract

Marine Protected Areas (MPA) were created to address overfishing, which can harm fishing communities and reduce the number of fish. This affects how much food is available and how happy people feel, especially for people who work as small-scale fishermen. They depend on catching fish to meet their needs. This study aimed to find out what factors affect fishermen's choice to participate in MPAs. It was done in Malang and Probolinggo Regencies in East Java, with 200 fishermen involved in the research. This research gathers information by asking people questions through a survey. The survey has a set of questions that are planned. The economist studies the probit model to determine what factors affect fishermen's choice to join MPAs. The findings indicated that factors like family members, marital status, number of fishing gear, market access, and savings did not have a noteworthy impact on the involvement of small-scale fishermen in MPAs. But, things like how old they are, how much education they have, whether they belong to a fishermen's group, if they work outside of fishing, and if they are part of a cooperative all greatly impact whether small fishermen participate in MPAs.

Abstract

Concept maps are a very important visual tool in the learning process, serving to illustrate the relationship between concepts systematically. By using concept maps, students can understand and organize information better, thus improving their critical and creative thinking skills. Overall, an understanding of concept maps is essential in the modern educational context. Concept maps not only serve as learning aids, but also as a bridge to connect various complex ideas and concepts, thus facilitating more effective and efficient learning. This study aims to examine the effectiveness of using concept maps in improving students' understanding of science materials. This study was conducted based on the analysis of two classroom action researches (PTK) conducted by Amalia Rezeki and Muhammad Faisal Riza. The research shows that the use of concept maps as learning media is effective in improving student learning outcomes, both individually and classically. The research method used was descriptive with two cycles, including planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. Data were obtained through pretest, posttest, formative test, and student activity observation. The results showed a significant increase in student understanding, with individual learning completeness reaching ≥ 65 and classical completeness ≥ 85%. Students' learning activities became more active, such as making concept maps and group discussions. Concept maps proved to be able to connect new information with students' prior knowledge, resulting in meaningful learning. These findings support the importance of applying innovative learning methods such as concept maps to improve the quality of education.Peta konsep merupakan alat visual yang sangat penting dalam proses pembelajaran, berfungsi untuk menggambarkan hubungan antar konsep secara sistematis. Dengan menggunakan peta konsep, siswa dapat memahami dan mengorganisasikan informasi dengan lebih baik, sehingga meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis dan kreatif mereka. Secara keseluruhan, pemahaman tentang peta konsep sangat penting dalam konteks pendidikan modern. Peta konsep tidak hanya berfungsi sebagai alat bantu belajar, tetapi juga sebagai jembatan untuk menghubungkan berbagai ide dan konsep yang kompleks, sehingga memfasilitasi pembelajaran yang lebih efektif dan efisien. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji efektivitas penggunaan peta konsep dalam meningkatkan pemahaman siswa pada materi IPA. Kajian ini dilakukan berdasarkan analisis dua penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) yang dilaksanakan oleh Amalia Rezeki dan Muhammad Faisal Riza. Penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan peta konsep sebagai media pembelajaran efektif dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa, baik secara individu maupun klasikal. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif dengan dua siklus, mencakup perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi, dan refleksi. Data diperoleh melalui pretes, postes, tes formatif, dan observasi aktivitas siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan dalam pemahaman siswa, dengan ketuntasan belajar individu mencapai ≥ 65 dan ketuntasan klasikal ≥ 85%. Aktivitas belajar siswa menjadi lebih aktif, seperti membuat peta konsep dan berdiskusi kelompok. Peta konsep terbukti mampu menghubungkan informasi baru dengan pengetahuan awal siswa, sehingga menghasilkan pembelajaran yang bermakna. Temuan ini mendukung pentingnya penerapan metode pembelajaran inovatif seperti peta konsep untuk meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan.

Abstract

This research was conducted with the aim of improving and strengthening the quality of existing Human Resources in developing Small and Medium Industries (IKM), namely in the batik industry in Jatipelem Village, Diwek District, Jombang Regency. This research uses a qualitative approach with a case study method. The main problems found in this study are the absence of special design characteristics for Jatipelem batik, a lack of understanding of the concept of organizational management, a lack of capital for SMEs, the role of batik associations is not optimal, and digital sales are not optimal. The results of the study show that training and mentoring programs are needed in order to improve the quality of existing human resources, which include batik product design training, organizational management training, Business Model Canvas (BMC) training, IKM financial training, and digital marketing training.

Abstract

Purpose — The objectives of this research are (1) to create digital marketing strategies using SWOT analysis, (2) to create information channels as digital marketing media using websites, and (3) to strengthen the image and governance of BUMDes Mitra Sejati of Kucur village, which has managed several business units and was affected by the COVID-19 pandemic. Design/methodology/approach — This research uses the qualitative method with the case study and interview approach, so the results are analytical and descriptive in nature. The population of this research is Village-Owned Enterprises throughout Indonesia, and the sample is BUMDes Mitra Sejati, a village-owned enterprise located in Kucur village of Dau sub-district in Malang regency. The village government manages this organization. Findings—BUMDes Mitra Sejati's growth is hampered by ineffective governance, the unavailability of suitable marketing and promotion media for the village's products and tourist destinations, and poor product branding and innovation. Practical implications — This research helps the enterprise optimize digital marketing, which other BUMDes in Indonesia. can also utilize Originality/value — This article presents a case of digital marketing applied by BUMDes in Indonesia so that it can provide an example of the sub-optimal use of digital marketing that reduces BUMDes revenue. Abstract

Purpose — The objective of this research is to optimize the marketing activities of Universitas Brawijaya’s Koperasi Jasa Pegawai Republik Indonesia (KJPRI UB) by utilizing digital technology through (1) identification of main problems using SWOT analysis on their website to identify the most suitable digital marketing strategy to be applied in the cooperative, (2) system enhancement and menu addition in their website, and (3) gradual socialization and assistance to ensure their business development. Design/methodology/approach — This qualitative case study uses the interview approach, so the results are analytical and descriptive in nature. The population of this research is all KJPRI throughout Indonesia, and the sample is KJPRI UB, which is located in Malang, East Java, Indonesia. Findings — This study finds that KJPRI UB has no features that provide convenience for their customers. Furthermore, changes from KPRI UB to KJPRI UB have required the cooperative to pay more attention to brand awareness through digital marketing. Practical implications—The results of this research can optimize the role of digital marketing in KJPRI UB, which also applies to other KJPRIs in Indonesia. Originality/value —This article presents digital marketing issues in KJPRI UB so that it can provide an example of digital marketing optimization for other KJPRI. Paper type — Case study

Abstract

This study aims to identify and explain the influence of compassionate leadership and psychological empowerment on job satisfaction, mediated by psychological well-being. This research assists PT. Bimaruna Jaya in East Jakarta focuses on decision-making and policy development to address and manage factors that impact employee job satisfaction. A proportionate random sampling technique was employed, resulting in a sample of 69 respondents, using a quantitative approach. Data analysis was conducted using Partial Least Squares-Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) with the aid of SmartPLS 4 software. The results indicate that compassionate leadership and psychological empowerment have a positive and significant impact on job satisfaction, which is mediated by psychological well-being. It is recommended for PT. Bimaruna Jaya East Jakarta will implement open and transparent employee recognition to help employees feel a sense of well-being and empowerment.
