Abstract

Science and technology has a significant role to increase human kinds prosperity. The ability to comprehend science and technology literature is a requirement for us to apply science and technology on the right way for the sake of humans prosperity and safety. The International research result showed that Indonesian students low ability of literacy. The students ability of scientific literacy is influenced by teachers competence in delivering materials that use scientific literacys aspects. This reseach aimed at analyzing the teachers ability of scientific literacy on learning materials and the learning process in their class and the students ability of scientific literacy as result of the learning process. This research used qualitative approach with the research subject of 12 teachers in grade X and 325 students of grade X from 9 state senior shcool at Cirebon. The analysis of scientific literacy used was conducted through test, non-test, and documentation. Generally, result of research indicated the teachers ability of scientific literacy was high, the emergence of scientific literacy was medium, and the students ability of scientific literacy after the learning process was medium. Based on the result of research, it can be concluded that the upgrading quality of teaching process in the class, in which the ability of scientific literacy appear is extremely needed to increase the students ability of scientific literacy

Abstract

This research aims to determine the costs of capital adjustments and company dynamics. Company panels comprise the database. The main advantage of analyzing the nature of adjustment costs at the plant level is that the data contain information for purchases and sales of capital goods. Panel data, including information from many plants and long periods, allows for a more comprehensive analysis of firms' investment behavior in the face of capital adjustment costs. The estimation results allow for the recovery of companies' frictions in adjusting their capital stock. The estimation results for capital adjustment costs are consistent with other studies using similar methodologies. Estimates show that there are significant, unchangeable fixed costs, as well as moderate quadratic costs. Researchers then use the estimated parameters in a counterfactual simulation to analyze the impact of a decline in average firm profitability on the labor market. The results show a significant labor market response to the shock, with the transition to the new stable state being slow and taking several years to complete the adjustment. The simulations highlight the importance of not only modeling capital mobility but also considering and estimating its frictions to evaluate the impact of policies or shocks on the economy. The mobility and capital adjustment costs influence the speed of the economy's adjustment to shocks and their effects on factor allocation and remuneration in the short and long term.

Abstract

This research aims to contribute to modern business, new work systems, and industrial relations. This research is a longitudinal study involving manufacturing companies. Researchers collected data at two different periods. Researchers surveyed by sending a questionnaire to the company's human resources managers. Research findings show a reasonably strong relationship between implementing new work practices and better company results. However, according to the dominant theory, this result does not always occur in every case. These results indicate a greater focus on small businesses, which play a significant role in the fabric industry. The third result shows the durability or sustainability of individual practices. These new practices have proven effective in improving company performance, which may be why groups are more confident implementing them. Discriminant analysis reveals that firms' structural and market characteristics account for most of the variability in their orientation toward organizational innovation. The intensity of relationships with other companies positively correlates with using new work practices, mainly if the company operates internationally. The competition level in the company's market is also related to the use of new work practices and intense, innovative activities, especially those related to technology and the coordination of activities within the organization, such as information technology.

Abstract

Isolation and identification of secondary metabolite compounds from stem bark of Bintangur (Calophyllum bicolor) have been reported. Isolation was carried out using the maceration method with 70% ethanol solvent and fractionation of the ethanol extract by column chromatography using n-hexane solvent. The n-hexane fraction resulting from column chromatography was subjected to gravity chromatography with the mobile phase n-hexane: ethyl acetate (8:2) producing isolate 1. The results of purification of isolate 1 using fast column chromatography with the mobile phase dichloromethane: methanol (1:1) and a UV light detector at ƛ 254 nm, compound 1 was obtained. Meanwhile, identification of compound 1 was carried out through UV-Vis spectroscopy, FTIR and LCMS analysis. The identification results of compound 1 using UV-Vis spectroscopy showed the presence of an aliphatic ring double bond chromophore (λmax 233.5; 295 nm). FTIR results indicated the presence of vibrations of the OH group (3417 cm-1), CH alkanes (2933; 2864; 1456; 545 cm-1), and C=C alkenes (1618 cm-1). Analysis results using LCMS showed a molecular ion peak at [M]+ m/z = 386.96 at a retention time of 11.6 minutes, indicating a molecular weight of 386 and a molecular formula (C27H46O) that corresponds to a terpenoid compound. Keywords: isolation, identification, terpenoid, bintangur (Calophyllum bicolor) AbstrakIsolasi dan identifikasi senyawa metabolit sekunder dari kulit batang bintangur   (Calophyllum   bicolor)   telah   dilaporkan.  Isolasi dilakukan dengan metode maserasi dengan pelarut etanol 70% dan fraksinasi ekstrak etanol dengan kromatografi kolom menggunakan pelarut n-heksana. Fraksi n-heksana hasil kromatografi kolom dikromatografi grafitasi dengan fase gerak n- heksana : etil asetat (8:2) menghasilkan isolat 1. Hasil pemurnian isolat 1 menggunakan kromatografi kolom cepat dengan fase gerak diklorometana : metanol (1:1) dan  detektor sinar UV pada ƛ 254 nm diperoleh senyawa    1. Sedangkan identifikasi  senyawa 1 dilakukan melalui analisis spektroskopi UV-Vis, FTIR, dan LCMS. Hasil identifikasi senyawa 1 menggunakan spektroskopi UV-Vis  menunjukkan adanya kromofor ikatan rangkap cincin alifatik (λmaks 233,5 nm; 295 nm). Hasil FTIR mengindikasikan adanya vibrasi gugus OH (3417     cm-1), CH alkana (2933; 2864; 1456; 545 cm-1), dan C=C alkena (1618 cm-1). Hasil Analisa menggunskan LCMS menujukkan puncak ion molekul pada [M]+ m/z = 386,96 pada waktu retensi 11,6 menit, menunjukkan berat molekul 386 dan rumus molekul (C27H46O) yang sesuai dengan senyawa terpenoid. Kata kunci: isolasi, elusidasi, terpenoid, bintangur (Calophyllum bicolor)

Abstract

Methylene blue wastewater from the paper, clothing, and textile industries can adversely affect aquatic ecosystems if improperly treated. One method to treat methylene blue pollutants in sewage is through photocatalysis techniques using magnesium ferrite (MgFe2O4) nanoparticle-based semiconductors. The MgFe2O4 is effective for methylene blue degradation because it is stable in aqueous systems, inexpensive, and has good photocatalytic activity. This study aims to synthesize MgFe2O4 nanoparticles with pumpkin seed extract (Cucurbita moschata) as a capping agent through a hydrothermal method. Characterization results show that MgFe2O4 nanoparticles synthesized with the addition of 3 mL pumpkin seed extract have a crystal size of 3.87 nm, cubic spinel structure, average particle size of 29 nm, and band gap energy value of 1.94 eV. The MgFe2O4 nanoparticles produced optimum degradation efficiency under mercury lamp irradiation with a degradation capacity of 391.98 mg/g at pH 12. Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini antara lain;  Mengetahui bagaimana penafsiran Ibn Kasir terhadap ayat-ayat laknat dalam al-Qur’an. Mengetahui bagaimana penafsiran Ibn Na?ir as-Si’di terhadap ayat-ayat laknat dalam al-Qur’?n. Menganalisis adanya persamaan dan perbedaan penafsiran antara Ibn Kasir dan Ibn Na?ir as-Si’di terhadap ayat-ayat laknat dalam al-Qur’an. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kajian kepustakaan, dengan komparasi penafsiran Ibn Kasirr dan Ibn Na?ir as-Si’di terhadap ayat-ayat tentang laknat dalam al-Qur’an. Setelah menganalisis kata laknat dalam Tafsir Ibn Kasir dan Tafsir Ibn Na?ir As-si'di, dapat disimpulkan bahwa; Laknat didefiniskan dengan makna menjauhkan, menghalangi/mengusir dari setiap kebaikan dan rahmat Allah Ta’ala. Objek laknat di antaranya; Iblis, yahudi, orang kafir dan munafik, orang yang murtad, pelaku keruskaan di muka Bumi, orang yang membunuh mukmin dengan sengaja, pohon Zaqqum. Di antara persamaan kedua ahli tafsir sepakat bahwa ayat-ayat laknat bertujuan untuk memberikan peringatan tegas kepada manusia agar menjauhi dosa besar, seperti kekufuran, kemunafikan, kedustaan. Kedua ahli tafsir menekankan bahwa laknat adalah konsekuensi dari pebuatan yang melanggar hukum Allah Ta’ala, dan bertujuan untuk menunjukkan keadilan Allah Ta’ala dalam menghukum pelaku dosa. Adapun perbedaannya Ibn Kasirr lebih menekankan penafsiran dengan pendekatan tekstual dengan dalil-dali dari Al-Qur’an, hadis dan pendapat ahli tafsir yang lainnya, sedangkan Ibn Na?ir As-si'di lebih mengarah pada penafsiran yang ringkas dan aplikatif serta kontekstual, lebih menekankan nilai-nilai pendidikan dan pensucian jiwa.

Abstract

Composite Houses at the BPPT material technology center and polymer technology center were designated as centers of superior polymer composite science and technology in 2018. For this reason, BPPT designed earthquake-resistant composite houses using lightweight materials so they are easy to carry and fast to install, namely using an easy knock down connection system. disassembled. This earthquake-resistant house uses composite materials, namely Styrofoam or polystyrene foam and glass fiber reinforced plastic (Fiberglass Reinforced Plastics / FRP). This material is stacked like a sandwich so it is called a sandwich composite panel. The weight of this panel is only about 2 kilograms, 30 percent lighter than cement walls reinforced with glass fiber or Fiberglass. The purpose of this study was to analyze the bending strength value of the Fiberglass fiber sandwich composite in the bending test and the results of the bending value of the Fiberglass fiber sandwich composite with the specification of an earthquake resistant composite house (RKTG) and the effect of matrix strength on the fiberglass fiber sandwich composite using polyurethane core with the hand lay-up technique.. It is said to be simple because the technique is very easy to apply, namely liquid resin is smeared over a mold and then the first layer of fiber is placed on top of it, then using a PVC resin spatula it is flattened again. This step is carried out continuously until the desired specimen thickness is obtained. Bending test values with each mass ratio of 1 kg, 1.5 kg, 2 kg, and 2.5 kg. It can be concluded that from the results of this research at a mass ratio of 1.5 kg the results are 2,242 MPa, from the results of this research the Ultimate value Higher Tensile Strength compared to other masses.
