Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk untuk memperoleh pemahaman tentang terjadinya pergeseran tradisi masyarakat pasca gempa 2006 di Sriharjo. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan jenis studi kasus. penelitian ini dilaksanakan di desa Sriharjo, dusun Mojohuro yang terdiri dari 6 RT dengan jumlah penduduk 857 jiwa dan 264 kepala keluarga dengan menggunakan purposive sampling maka terpilih 1 informan kunci dan 3 informan pendukung.Penelitian ini mengunakan 2 jenis sumber data yakni data primer dan data sekunder, Data primer merupakan data yang diperoleh dengan cara observasi dan wawancara. Data sekunder merupakan data yang diperoleh dengan cara mengkaji dokumen. Teknik analisis data menggunakan teori interaktif miles Huberman. Keabsahan data menggunakan triangulasi sumber dan teknik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tradisi yang berkembang dalam masyarakat Mojohuro, Sriharjo dapat di kelompokkan menjadi 3 hal yakni: 1) Tradisi yang terkait langsung dengan alam. 2) Tradisi yang terkait dengan tahap perkembangan kehidupan manusia. 3) Tradisi yang berasal dari lokal.

Abstract

This study aims to describe policy interventions and innovative programs in anti-bullying praxis implemented in Yogyakarta City Junior High Schools. This study used descriptive methods with quantitative and qualitative approaches. This study was conducted in 2022 with 1517 students from 19 junior high schools in Yogyakarta City as participants. The participants of the study were principals and guidance and counselling teachers from 19 junior high schools in Yogyakarta City, junior high school supervisors, and policymakers at the Yogyakarta City Youth and Sports Education Office. The data collection techniques used were Focus Group Discussion (FGD), interviews, and documentation. The data were then analysed using qualitative descriptive analysis through several steps: data collection, condensation, data presentation, and conclusions. The findings indicate that the interventions made by schools on the phenomenon of bullying are: a) 69% of schools attempt to stop bullying; b) 64% of teachers reprimand perpetrators; c) 61% of teachers assist bullying victims; and d) 57% of teachers support bullying victims. In addition, qualitative data in the form of variations in the implementation of education policies in SMP Kota Yogyakarta to address bullying in schools were uncovered. According to the results of the study, there are: a) individual programs through counselling; b) collective mentoring through character building to develop soft skills and hard skills; c) rules of order and social control; and d) school partnerships with external institutions. These innovative programs are the outcome of the interpretation of educational policy by the institutions, as well as the creative initiatives of schools.

Abstract

This research aims to identify ethical-philosophical issues arising from AI technology's presence in the academic world and identify the impact of AI's presence in the academic world on humanity's future as global citizens. This research is important to carry out because of the widespread use of artificial intelligence technology in education, which indirectly exacerbates the problems faced by humans as global citizens. This research serves as a model for investigating philosophical issues within the field. This type of research is often referred to as library research. The research process consists of three stages: data collection, data classification, and data analysis. The methodical elements used are description, language analysis, analytics, synthetics, and interpretation. The research results show: 1) The main ethical and philosophical problems that arise from AI's presence in the academic world are the crisis of human autonomy, the crisis of academic honesty, and the crisis of responsibility. 2) The presence of AI in the academic world impacts the future of humans as global citizens by causing a crisis of academic honesty. This crisis has the potential to escalate into a more serious issue, specifically an academic identity crisis, as the use of artificial intelligence becomes more commonplace in almost all aspects of human life. The presence of AI in the academic realm, particularly in relation to humanity's future as global citizens, intensifies the issue of identity crises.

Abstract

Artikel ini mendeskripsikan hasil kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat yang ditujukan bagi Pekerja Migran Indonesia (PMI) di Hong Kong, dengan tujuan untuk memperkuat literasi kebijakan pendidikan agar mereka mampu memilih program dan lembaga pendidikan yang sesuai. Kegiatan pengabdian dilaksanakan melalui metode workshop, dengan pendekatan pemberdayaan yang diadaptasi dari teori Adi (2008). Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa: (1) PMI merasa puas terhadap pelaksanaan pemberdayaan dari berbagai aspek yang diukur, yaitu respons, partisipasi, pemberdayaan, dampak, dan kesesuaian; dan (2) berdasarkan evaluasi kuantitatif, workshop ini terbukti mampu meningkatkan literasi kebijakan pendidikan para peserta. PMI tidak hanya memahami kebijakan pendidikan Indonesia, tetapi juga mampu mengaplikasikan pemahaman tersebut melalui penyusunan rencana aksi dalam bentuk "sungai kehidupan" sebagai panduan untuk memilih program dan lembaga pendidikan yang sesuai dengan target pendidikan dan karier setelah masa kerja mereka berakhir.
