Abstract

Personal social responsibility emphasises the importance of positively benefiting society, including the environment. Responsibility is one of the values influencing ecological citizenship so that individuals can prioritise environmental issues and realise the importance of sustainable living. This research aims to develop an instrument for personal social responsibility in ecological citizenship as a measurement scale. The instrument’s contents are validated by experts (expert judgment), and the test is then performed using the Aiken-V formula. The research results show that: 1) The dimensions of personal social responsibility in ecological citizenship are determined by  indicators, namely a) Have an interest in considering environmental issues and resolving environmental issues; b) Have an interest in sustainable behavior in protecting and preserving the environment; c) Have awareness in considering and resolving environmental issues; d) Have awareness of sustainable behavior in protecting and preserving the environment; e) Actively participate in considering environmental issues and resolving environmental issues; f) Actively participate in sustainable behavior in protecting and preserving the environment; g) Take collective action in considering environmental issues and resolving environmental issues; h) Take sustainable collective action in protecting and preserving the environment; 2) The results of content validation using the Aiken V coefficient show that the 60 items have a very high level of validity, because they meet the criterion index of 0.80 V ≤ 1.00. Further research should be able to examine public policy and develop environmental education and awareness.

Abstract

The Brebes district youth education and sports office is one of the districts responsible for making education policies based on local wisdom and innovative policies. In addition, the qualifications needed by the Brebes Youth and Sports Education office are as an evidence-based policy maker based on research analysis for policy, policy analysis, policy implementation, and evaluation, which can ultimately provide policy recommendations. However, only some education personnel in Brebes district's education, youth and sports offices have competence in policy analysis. Based on the situation analysis, it is urgent to conduct policy analysis training for education stakeholders, especially the Brebes Regency youth and sports education office. The target audience in this training is stakeholders in the Brebes district, consisting of school principals, supervisors, and administration/managers. The implementation method includes lectures, discussions/questions and answers, educational games, training with problem-based learning, and (post-test) evaluation of training implementation. The training results showed that the participants gave an assessment related to the review of this education policy analysis training in the "outstanding" category of 90%; all participants gave relatively the same evaluation associated with the response in the training, which was 95%. Participation of training participants who, on average, stated that participation in the training was classified as very good as 90%. In addition, 90% of participants felt empowered during the training. On average, 90% of trainees stated that the training significantly impacted them. Furthermore, 85% of participants noted that the training was relevant to their problems.

Abstract

Para buruh migran yang bekerja di Hong Kong perlu diberi motivasi dan wawasan keindonesiaan dan rasa nasionalisme agar mereka bekerja dengan tekun tetapi mempunyai target yang jelas untuk kembali ke tanah air. Pemberian motivasi dan wawasan dilakukan dengan media kearifan lokal Indonesia berupa pengenalan kembali dan menyanyikan lagu-lagu tradisional, dan  lagu wajib serta memasak makanan tradisional Indonesia. Peserta pelatihan ini adalah para buruh migran yang tergabung dalam organisasi nirlaba TCKLC Hong Kong sebanyak 25 orang, kesemuanya perempuan. Metode PPM yang digunakan adalah ceramah singkat, diskusi, penugasan, praktik, dan bernyanyi. Hasil kegiatan PPM menunjukkan para buruh migran sangat senang menerima pelatihan penanaman nilai-nilai nasionalisme melalui kearifan lokal. Diperoleh kesadaran dari para buruh migran bahwa walaupun di Hong Kong mereka mendapatkan penghasilan yang cukup besar, tetapi tetap merasa sebagai kurang bermartabat, kurang terhormat. Setelah pelatihan,para buruh migran merasa sangat termotivasi untuk pulang ke tanah air dengan  rencana yang jelas untuk pekerjaan dan kegiatannya masing-masing. Bekal dari Hong Kong berupa uang akan dimanfaatkan untuk usaha dan sekolah,  sedangkan bekal ilmu akan digunakan untuk bekerja menjadi guru di daerahnya masing-masing. Lima bulan setelah pelatihan, diperoleh informasi sebagian buruh migran yang telah selesai masa kontraknya benar-benar telah kembali ke tanah air dan bekerja sesuai rencana ketika pelatihan. Ada yang menjadi guru PAUD, guru bahasa Inggris, melanjutkan pendidikan, dan ada pula yang berwirausaha. Kata kunci: Nilai nasionalisme, buruh migran, kearifan lokal

Abstract

Tulisan ini mendeskripsikan filosofi keilmuan evaluasi kebijakan dan program. Evaluasi sebagai bagian dari proses kebijakan merupakan tahap penting, yakni sebagai tahap penyediaan informasi tentang kebijakan dan program yang berjalan. Dalam prakteknya, evaluasi memerlukan teori-teori evaluasi. Teori yang dimaksudkan oleh para theorist identik dengan pendekatan atau model teori yang bersifat preskriptif, bukan tentang teori deskriptif atau empiris. Pohon teori evaluasi sebagai ilmu terapan dibangun oleh tiga akar ilmu yakni epistemology, social inqury dan social accountability yang membangun tiga cabang ilmu evaluasi. Ketiga cabang ilmu evaluasi meliputi cabang metode (method), cabang menilai (valuing), dan cabang penggunaan (use). Ketiga cabang pohon ilmu evaluasi dilihat sebagai sesuatu yang saling berhubungan satu sama lain. Bila pohon ilmu evaluasi  itu berada dalam ruang tiga dimensi maka ujung kanan adalah cabang penilaian akan berhubungan dengan sisi paling kiri yakni cabang penggunaan. Para ahli ilmu evaluasi ditempatkan pada setiap cabang dengan melihat kecenderungan utama dan khusus dari pendekatan ilmu yang mereka kembangkan. Kata Kunci: Evaluasi, Pohon Teori, Pendekatan Evaluasi, Evaluasi Kebijakan

Abstract

Strategi Nasional Untuk Kekerasan dalam Keluarga di Scotlandia mengimplementasikan Strategi Pencegahan (Prevention Strategy), baik secara lokal maupun nasional Elemen-elemen kunci dari Prevention Strategy adalah: 1) Meningkatkan kesadaran publik (Public Awareness Raising); 2) Pendidikan (Education). 3) Pelatihan (Training); 4) Layanan untuk perempuan, anak-anak dan pemuda (Service,for women, children and young people); 5) Legislasi (legislation); 6) Strategi Tempat Kerja (workplace strategies); 7) Bekerja dengan Iaki-laki yang menggunakan kekerasan (Work with men who use violence). Salah satu kegiatan yang dilakukan adalah pelatihan 'Respect" bagi guru. Pelatihan ini tentang cara bagaimana mengajarkan kesetaraan pada anak. Target curriculum dalam pelatihan antara lain: 1) Komitmen untuk belajar; 2) menghargai dan menjaga diri; 3) menghargai dan menjaga orang lain; dan 4) tanggung jawab social. Konsep dari Skotlandia ini dapat diambil nilai-nilai dan prinsip pendidikannya untuk diimplemantasikan di Indonesia. Pelatihan terhadap guru dan calon guru tentang "pcmbclajaran yang menghargai" (respect) dapat diberikan agar guru dan calon guru memiliki "sense of respect" yang menjadi bagian dari diri yang tercermin dalam setiap perilaku guru baik di kelas maupun di dalam kelas. Selanjutnya, guru melatih dan membiasakan perilaku anak didiknya untuk memiliki "sense of respect" terhadap teman-teman dan lingkungan sehingga generasi kita menjadi generasi yang sanggup mengubah kekerasan menjadi perdamaian.

Abstract

The purpose of social studies learning is for students to become sensitive to problems that arise both within themselves and in their social environment. Social studies learning must adapt to face the challenges of the 21st century, Social studies education has significant relevance to 21st century skills; 1) Global Understanding, 2) Critical Thinking Skills, 3) Communication Skills, 4) Problem-Solving Ability, 5) Global Citizenship, 6) Technology and Media Literacy and, 7) Collaboration Skills. Thus, social studies not only provides an understanding of historical facts and social reality, but also forms skills and attitudes that are in accordance with the demands of the changing world in the 21st century.

Abstract

Multicultural cultural values are a strong foundation to be believed and important in the development of the world of Guidance and Counseling, especially in multicultural counseling practices. The cultural diversity that exists in Indonesia is very appropriate when counselors are able to explore and implement cultural values in counseling practices. One of the cultural values that can be used is to combine the concept of Balinese cultural values based on the beliefs of ancestors since ancient times which are religious through stories and meanings implied from generation to generation in the use of Tridatu thread bracelets and provide a special feel, especially for Hindus. The research method used is a qualitative description method by collecting library data, reading and recording and processing research materials then presenting them and drawing conclusions from the data obtained regarding the use of the Tridatu Bracelet. The thread used for Tridatu is not an ordinary thread. Before being given to the people, the thread has certainly gone through a ritual process first so that it has a deep meaning and philosophy. Hindus believe that the Tridatu Bracelet has the power of God Hyang Almighty as the creator, maintainer, and smelter. Counselors as implementers of counseling must really have an awareness of the cultural diversity that exists. Then the counselor should have good competence in multicultural coverage, namely awareness, knowledge and skills.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the description of Adversity of class XII students of SMAN 1 Tarakan. In class XII students who have a series of tasks that must be fulfilled as a graduation requirement.  Although the government in the Circular Letter (SE) of the Minister of Education and Culture Number 1 of 2021 has eliminated the national exam, it requires resilience in completing tasks as a graduation requirement, one of which is taking the School Examination and has completed the entire learning program. besides that, class XII students are also preoccupied with the choice of continuing studies after graduating from high school. This study uses a quantitative approach that is descriptive in nature with a survey method. The population in this study were students of class XII SMAN 1 Tarakan with a total of 362 students. Sampling in this study used simple random sampling, by first calculating the number of samples using the Slovin formula, so that the number of research samples obtained was 190 students. Data collection using Adversity Response Profile (ARP). Instrument testing with expert validation (expert judgment), namely experts in the field of counseling and language experts. The reliability test results show that the reliability index of the adversity quotient instrument is 0.920. The index shows that the instrument has a very high level of reliability and can be used in research. Research results 39 people (21%) were in the high category or climbers, 151 people (79%) were in the medium category or campers, and the low category or quitters 0%.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menemukan model kon-septual difusi kebijakan, faktor-faktor penentu adopsi, dan metode penelitian difusi pengarusutamaan gender (PUG). Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif fenomenologi dengan subjek Fatayat NU di DIY.  Data dikumpulkan dengan interview mendalam dengan triangulasi tema-tema. Analisis data menggunakan Interpretive Phenomenology Analysis (IPA) dan Event History Analysis (EHA). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa model konseptual difusi kebijakan pada individu ditemukan dengan tahap pengetahuan, persuasi, konfirmasi, keputusan dan implementasi. Adopsi kebijakan PUG pada individu ditentukan oleh faktor internal meliputi latar belakang individu, keinovatif-an sesuai dengan kebutuhan individu, dan perilaku aktif dari individu dan faktor penentu eksternal meliputi ketersediaan sumber dan saluran informasi, Anggota Kelompok (Member group), Kelompok Referensi (Reference group). Penelitian difusi kebijakan pada individu menggambarkan sebuah proses mental yang kompleks yang membutuhkan kajian interdisipliner berba-gai bidang ilmu. Kata kunci: pengarusutamaan gender, difusi, adopsi, kebijakan, metode penelitian______________________________________________________________  THE DIFFUSION OF THE GENDER MAINSTREAMING POLICY IN INDIVIDUALS: A REFLECTION ON THE DIFFUSION RESEARCH METHOD Abstract This study aims to find out a conceptual model for the diffusion of a policy, adoption determinant factors, and a research method for the gender mainstreaming diffusion. This study employed the phenomenological qualitative approach involving the members of Fatayat NU in Yogyakarta Special Territory. The data were collected through in-depth interviews using theme triangulation. The data were analyzed using the Interpretive Phenomenology Analysis (IPA) and Event History Analysis (EHA). The research findings show that that the conceptual model for the diffusion of a policy in individuals is applied through the stages of knowledge, persuasion, confirma-tion, decision, and implementation. The adoption of the gender mainstreaming policy in individuals is determined by internal factors, including the individual’s backgrounds, the innovative-ness in accordance with the individual’s needs, and the individual’s active behaviors, and by external factors, including the availability of information sources and channels, member groups, and reference groups. A study on the diffusion of a policy in individuals describes a very complex mental process that needs interdisciplinary studies involving a variety of sciences. Abstract

The problem of tolerance in schools arises due to a lack of understanding of diversity, social, communication difficulties, and injustice in treatment so that the role of education is needed in shaping students who have an attitude of tolerance. The purpose of this study is to explore the level of understanding and practice of tolerance among students. This research is a quantitative study, with data acquisition through the survey method. The data collected will be analyzed descriptively to identify the level of understanding of students' tolerance attitudes in everyday life in the school environment. The results of this study indicate that although students at SMP N 1 Bontang are divided into several classes, and have religious differences, the students have a good level of understanding and practice of tolerance as evidenced by the results of the analysis assessment. This illustrates that the educational efforts and school environment at SMP N 1 Bontang was successful in promoting tolerance among students who have diverse backgrounds.
