Abstract

In general, e-learning can be defined as learning that utilize or apply the information and communication technology. E-learning is learning activities that use the internet which can be combined with face to face activities in educational institutions. This research was conducted by finding secondary data that the study of literature consisting of journals scientific work and research, books, and online articles on the internet. Implementation of e-learning using the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM), which describes the results obtained are significant factors affecting user acceptance (learners). Users (students or teachers) who already understand the ease of use of the e-learning system and the benefits of using it, it will have the intention and willingness to use e-learning system. The existence of an understanding of the benefits of using strongly influenced by factors outside the organization that electronic teaching materials owned by the e-learning system. Models form the acceptance of a new information technology, the e-learning system that is applied to the sample users, namely euros (relevance of e-resource to the learning needs and accessibility of e-resources in use) and ID (visibility of usage, personal development of computer technology, experience on the use of computers, and knowledge of teaching materials) as a latent factor outside or external factor. PEOU (easiness to learn / understand, easy to use, and frequency of use in teaching), PU (ease to improve learning skills, enhance the effectiveness of learning, address the needs of learning, increase learning achievement, improve the efficiency of learning, and enable the development of ways of learning ), ITU (additional software/plugin support, motivation to continue to use in learning, and motivate other users) and ASU (long usage in learning and satisfaction in the use of learning) as an inside factor or the internal factor.

Abstract

Food Chemistry is one of the elective courses in Chemistry Education Program of University of Palangka Raya. Development of food chemistry materials based on web as an effort to utilize the available computer and internet facilities. One of the advantages of teaching materials based on web is to make it easy for students to access the learning materials after classroom learning. Utilization of computer technology and internet as media development of web-based teaching materials in Chemistry Education Program of University of Palangka Raya is expected to improve the quality of learning. For lecturers and students can provide easiness in the archiving of teaching materials, easy access to open the archives of teaching materials, the ease of doing improvements in teaching materials and ease in the updating of teaching materials. The method of developing food chemistry materials based on web used is the Educational Research and Development method, which is abbreviated as R & D. Gall et al. (2003) states R & D is a process used to develop and validate educational products. This development uses research methods and development of 3D models, namely Define, Design, and Develop, modification 4D Thiagarajan model. In the study conducted a limited-scale trial. Food chemistry materials based on web in the form of learning websites with the address www.kimiakesehatan.blogspot.co.id worthy to be used as a medium of teaching materials in Chemical Education Study Program of University of Palangka Raya.

Abstract

The activity of Community Development & Empowerment is aiming to train high school teachers in using the Savsoft Quiz application as the assessment tool in daring learning for chemistry subject in High School level. This training was been implemented in SMA Negeri 2 Palangka Raya since September 2021 which were participated by 5 (five) teachers for chemistry subject. The training method we applied was discussion model and exercise. In this section, some teachers were trained to manage the students and classes, to design the assessment questions-multiple choice, to develop the question bank, to manage the quize/exercise/assignment/test, and reporting the those final results. Our project results display that from 5 (five) teachers for chemistry subject in SMA Negeri 2 Palangka Raya are capable to complete all tasks and assignments which were given then we provided the training certivicate to them as the proof of their training results.

Abstract

General Chemistry is one of the compulsory subjects offered in the first year joint lectures at the Mathematics and Natural Sciences Education Department, FKIP Universitas Palangka Raya. The Covid-19 pandemic that has hit countries globally has had its own impacts and challenges for educational institutions, especially universities. Basic chemistry online lectures have combined various platforms such as google classroom, Edmodo, whatsapp groups, and online meetings such as google meet and zoom. However, this platform has some constraints, especially signal constraints, data packets, and management of shared data. Therefore, interactive learning media was developed, which can integrate text, images, audio, video and graphics, namely Android. This study aims to develop android-based general chemistry learning media on organic compound material and describe the feasibility of basic chemistry learning media. The development model used is the DDD-E model. The results of the development showed that the product resulting from the development process is an android-based learning media application in the form of an interactive e-book consisting of lesson plans, concept maps, instructions, materials, laboratory experiments, evaluation and team. Android-based learning media in the form of e-modules is suitable for use in learning Basic Chemistry. The results of the material expert's assessment obtained an average value of 82.14% (Good). The results of the media expert's assessment obtained an average value of 87.5% (Good).

Abstract

The knowledge intended in the 2013 curriculum can be divided into 4 (four) dimensions of knowledge. Dimensions of knowledge include factual knowledge, conceptual knowledge, procedural knowledge and metacognitive knowledge. The purpose of this study is to discuss the dimensions of knowledge and the level of thinking in learning chemistry. The cognitive process in learning chemistry in high school is strived for students to be able to reach the level of critical thinking and be able to solve chemical problems that require critical thinking. Students who think critically in solving chemical problems are those who can apply procedural knowledge and metacognitive knowledge in solving certain chemical problems based on certain situations presented to them correctly and can show the key to solving problems. Critical thinking is a basic ability for the development of knowledge in learning chemistry. Students who get various concepts and contexts of chemical problems are expected to be able to successfully recognize paradoxes and solve chemical problems with their knowledge.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan mendeskripsikan tingkat kualitas soal PAS buatan guru mata pelajaran kimia kelas X SMK Jurusan Teknologi dan Rekayasa di Kabupaten Kotawaringin Timur pada semester ganjil tahun ajaran 2018/2019. Penelitian ini termasuk penelitian deskriptif. Subjek penelitian adalah soal buatan guru dan jawaban siswa hasil ulangan akhir semester. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini adalah metode dokumentasi. Analisis data dilakukan dengan menggunakan teknik analisis logical review dan empirical review. Hasil penelitian analisis logical review tingkat kesesuaian butir soal dengan indikator dalam silabus K13 sebesar 97,48%, dengan aspek materi, konstruksi dan bahasa sebesar 98,72%. Distribusi tingkat kognitif taksonomi bloom 52 (55%) soal kognitif C1, 23 (24%) soal kognitif C2, 17 (18%) soal kognitif C3, 3 (3%) soal tingkat C4, kesesuaian dengan kompetensi dasar sebesar 69,5%. Analisis secara empirical review reliabilitas 0,570 (cukup), daya beda 75,7% soal baik, tingkat kesukaran butir soal 43,3% kategori sedang dan efektifitas distraktor 76,42% efektif.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan Pengaruh Pemberian Latihan Soal Terstruktur Setelah Pembelajaran Langsung Terhadap Pemahaman Konsep Bilangan Kuantum Pada Siswa Kelas X MIPA SMA Negeri 1 Palangka Raya Tahun Ajaran 2018/2019. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen dengan desain penelitian non ekuivalen, pretest-posttest control group design dan melibatkan 53 siswa dari dua kelas X MIPA SMA Negeri 1 Palangka Raya sebagai sampel yang ditentukan dengan teknik cluster random sampling, yaitu kelas X MIPA-7 (kelas eksperimen) sebanyak 28 orang siswa dan siswa kelas X MIPA-6 (kelas kontrol) sebanyak 25 orang siswa. Instrumen yang digunakan berupa soal tes pemahaman tes I dan tes II, latihan soal terstruktur, dan latihan soal. Data tes I diperoleh setelah pembelajaran langsung dan data tes II diperoleh setelah pembelajaran menggunakan latihan soal terstruktur dan latihan soal. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa thitung > ttabel (3,06 > 1,675) pada taraf signifikasi (α) 5%. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa pemberian latihan soal terstruktur setelah pembelajaran langsung berpengaruh terhadap pemahaman konsep bilangan kuantum pada siswa kelas X MIPA SMAN 1 Palangka Raya tahun ajaran 2018/2019.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan pengaruh pemberian latihan soal terstruktur setelah pembelajaran langsung terhadap pemahaman konsep Ikatan kovalen pada Siswa Kelas X IPA SMA Negeri 4 Palangka Raya Tahun Ajaran 2018/2019. Penelitian ini melibatkan sebanyak 70 orang siswa kelas X IPA SMA Negeri 4 Palangka Raya Tahun Ajaran 2018/2019. Instrumen yang digunakan berupa soal tes I, soal tes II, latihan soal terstruktur dan latihan soal tak terstruktur. Data tes I diperoleh setelah pembelajaran langsung dan data tes II diperoleh setelah pembelajaran menggunakan latihan soal terstruktur pada kelas eksperimen dan latihan soal tak terstruktur pada kelas control. Hasil uji statistik menggunakan uji-t pada taraf signifikan 5%, menunjukkan bahwa latihan soal terstruktur berpengaruh terhadap pemahaman siswa kelas X IPA SMA Negeri 4 Palangka Raya tentang konsep ikatan kovalen lebih baik dari siswa yang menggunakan latihan soal tak terstruktur.

Data tes I diperoleh setelah pembelajaran langsung dan data tes II diperoleh setelah pembelajaran menggunakan latihan soal terstruktur dan latihan soal tak terstruktur. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa “pemberian latihan soal terstruktur berpengaruh terhadap pemahaman konsep siswa tentang ikatan ion setelah pembelajaran langsung pada siswa kelas X IPA SMA Negeri 4 Palangka Raya Tahun Ajaran 2018/2019”.

Abstract

Soal yang digunakan pada Penilaian Akhir Semester (PAS) merupakan soal-soal buatan guru. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan mendeskripsikan tingkat kualitas soal Penilaian Akhir Semester (PAS) buatan guru Mata Pelajaran Kimia Kelas X IPA SMA di Kabupaten Seruyan pada Semester Ganjil Tahun Ajaran 2018/2019. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif. Objek dalam penelitian ini adalah soal buatan guru dan jawaban siswa hasil Penilaian Akhir Semester (PAS) mata pelajaran Kimia kelas X IPA SMA A, kelas X IPA SMA B, dan kelas X IPA SMA C pada semester ganjil tahun ajaran 2018/2019. Teknik pengumpulan data penelitian ini adalah metode dokumentasi. Analisis data dilakukan secara deskriptif berupa logical review dan empirical review. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa logical review diperoleh tingkat kesesuaian soal dengan kompetensi dasar sebesar 93,3%. Kesesuaian soal dengan aspek materi, konstruksi, dan bahasa pada X IPA rata-rata sebesar 93,29%. Distribusi jenjang ranah kognitif taksonomi Bloom yang terukur pada tiga set soal dari tiga SMA yang berada di Kabupaten Seruyan adalah C1 sebanyak 59 (67%) soal, C2 sebanyak 33 (29,5%) soal, C3 sebanyak 13 (35,5%) soal, C4 sebanyak 0%, C5 sebanyak 0%, dan C6 sebanyak 0%. Analisis secara empirical review menghasilkan data reliabilitas, indeks daya beda, indeks tingkat kesukaran, dan efektifitas distraktor. Berdasarkan aspek-aspek tersebut kualitas soal PAS berdasarkan indeks daya beda, indek tingkat kesukaran dan distraktor diperoleh 79 (60,6%) soal berkualitas baik dan 36 (38,8%) soal berkualitas sangat tidak baik.
