Abstract

This study aims to: (1) describe the alignment of Chemical Bonding concepts in YouTube channel videos with the 2013 curriculum, (2) describe the alignment of chemical bonding concepts in YouTube channel educational videos with 21st-century learning aspects (4C), (3) describe the suitability of pedagogy in chemical bonding educational videos on YouTube channels, and (4) explain how the reviewed YouTube channel videos can still support learning. The research method used is a descriptive approach. The object of this study is the concept of chemical bonding in educational videos from YouTube channels. Three educational videos were analyzed and coded as Video A, Video B, and Video C, and were conducted offline in a classroom setting. The instruments used include a concept label identification table, a 2013 curriculum concept label identification table, a 4C skills indicator identification table, and a pedagogy identification table. The identification results were validated by lecturers from the Chemistry Education Study Program at the University of Palangka Raya. The results showed that the concept labels from the three analyzed educational videos amounted to 32 concept labels. The concept labels that align with the 2013 curriculum syllabus are 11 concept labels across Videos A, B, and C. Overall, the 21st-century skills most commonly developed are Communication skills in Video A, Collaboration skills in Video B, and Critical thinking and problem-solving skills in Video C. The pedagogy demonstrated by teachers in YouTube channel educational videos most frequently included indicators of effective, empathetic, and courteous communication with students in Video A, curriculum development related to the subject taught in Video B, and facilitating the development of students' potential to actualize their various abilities in Video C.

Abstract

ABSTRACT The purpose of this writing is to examine the existence of local culture in character education during the era of modernization. Character education is a matter of utmost urgency and importance for the younger generation in the midst of increasingly sophisticated technological advancements. This progress not only brings positive influences but also negative ones, such as the erosion of the nation's moral values due to the influence of foreign cultures that may not align with the nation's noble values. To fortify the younger generation against various negative impacts of technological progress, local culture, as one of the systems of values growing and evolving within a society based on religious teachings, morality, and intergenerational experiences, is crucial as a moral foundation in shaping the character of the nation's children. This aims to cultivate a young generation with noble behavior, integrity, religious values, and empathy towards various issues in their surrounding environment. Abstract

Mastery of the concept of acidity (pH) can be achieved when students are directly involved in applying their knowledge. The purpose of this study is to describe students' concept mastery as a result of learning through the implementation of the problem-based learning model assisted by guided deductive worksheets (LKS-Deduktif) on the topic of acid-base strength in Class XI MIPA 4 at SMA Negeri 3 Palangka Raya. This research is descriptive in nature, and the subjects are students of Class XI MIPA 4. The instruments used in the study include a concept mastery test consisting of pretest, posttest, and guided deductive worksheets (LKS-Deduktif). The implementation stages include administering a pretest, guided deductive worksheets, and finally a posttest. The results show that the problem-based learning model assisted by guided deductive worksheets in Class XI MIPA 4 led to an increase in concept mastery from 5.35% to 98.18%, categorized as excellent. The improvement in student mastery produced an N-gain score of 0.98, categorized as high. The number of students mastering each conceptual label is as follows: (1) Calculating the pH of strong acid solutions based on concentration data: 100%. (2) Calculating the pH of strong base solutions based on concentration data: 100%. (3) Analyzing the pH comparison of weak acid solutions based on concentration data and acid dissociation constant (Ka): 96.6%. (4) Analyzing the pH comparison of weak base solutions based on concentration data and base dissociation constant (Kb): 96.2%.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the need for the development of differentiated learning-based e-Worksheet (e-LKPD) on the acid-base concept at SMA Negeri 2 Palangka Raya. Differentiated learning allows teachers to present materials and assessments tailored to students' varying abilities and learning styles. The research method used is qualitative descriptive, with data collection techniques including questionnaires, interviews, and observations involving teachers and students. The results show that teachers need a comprehensive, interactive, and flexible e-LKPD with adjustable content and exercises of varying difficulty levels. Students desire a visually appealing e-LKPD that is easily accessible across multiple devices and includes interactive features and instant feedback. In conclusion, the development of a differentiated learning-based e-LKPD is essential for improving the effectiveness of teaching the acid-base concept, supporting individual differences among students, and facilitating active engagement in learning.

Abstract

Parisada Hindu Dharma Indonesia merupakan lembaga tertinggi agama Hindu, salah satu tugas parisada adalah melakukan pelayanan kepada umat. Dalam pelaksanaan tugas Parisada, ada tiga permasalahan yang diteliti dalam artikel ini, yaitu: (1) Apa tugas dan fungsi Parisada?, (2) Apa peran Parisada dalam ritual perkawinan Umat Hindu di Kota Palangkaraya?, (3) Bagaimana kedudukan surat keterangan Parisada dalam penerbitan akta perkawinan di Kota Palangkaraya?. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif dengan penentuan informan secara porposif sampling. Teori yang digunakan adalah teori fungsional struktural, data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan kepustakaan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan: (1) Tugas dan fungsi Parisada adalah membina dan melayani umat, meningkatkan pengabdian, menjalin kerjasama, dan melakukan redefinisi, reinterpretasi, dan reaktualisasi pemahaman ajaran suci Weda; (2) Parisada memiliki tiga peran penting dalam pelaksanaan ritual perkawinan Umat Hindu di Kota Palangkaraya yaitu sebagai fasilitator pelaksanaan upacara sudhi wadani, memberikan pembekalan (dharmawacana), dan mengeluarkan surat keterangan nikah (3) Kedudukan surat keterangan nikah yang dikeluarkan oleh Parisada adalah sebagai surat penyataan bahwa perkawinan yang dilaksanakan oleh mempelai sudah sah secara agama dan dapat digunakan sebagai salah satu syarat dalam penerbitan akta perkawinan.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Artikel ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis dan mendeskripsikan berbagai nilai budaya dan ajaran agama Hindu dalam menumbuhkan kesadaran hukum dalam kehidupan masyarakat di era modern. Ada berbagai budaya dan ajaran agama Hindu yang dapat dijadikan sebagai landasan dasar dalam menumbuhkan kesadaran hukum guna menjaga ketertiban di tengah masyarakat diantaranya yaitu: dharma yang mengandung nilai kebenaran dalam menjalankan tugas dan kewajiban sebagai umat beragama Hindu, Tri Hita Karana adalah budaya masyarakat Bali yang dijiwai oleh ajaran Hindu terkait tiga konsep hidup tangguh dalam menjaga hubungan harmonis. Hukum Karma merupakan konsep ajaran agama Hindu yang mengajarkan tentang hukum timbal balik di mana setiap perbuatan akan mendatangkan hasil hasil (karma phala). Ketiga ajaran agama Hindu ini merupakan pondasi kuat yang menanamkan budaya hidup tangguh guna menciptakan ketertiban dan keharmonisan kehidupan masyarakat di era modern Kata kunci: Budaya, Ajaran Hindu, Landasan Hukum, Masyarakat, Era Modern
