Abstract

The Implementation of Content Differentiated Learning Based on Students' Readiness in the Topic of Presenting Data in the Form of a Scatter Plot in Class XI-7 of SMA Negeri 1 Jayapura. This research is a descriptive qualitative study aimed at describing the implementation of content differentiated learning based on students’ readiness in the topic of presenting data in the form of a scatter plot. The subjects of this study were 37 students from Class XI-7 of SMA Negeri 1 Jayapura, selected through purposive sampling technique.. The research instruments used included a teaching module, diagnostic assessment, individual test, and teacher observation sheet. The results of the diagnostic assessment were used to categorize students into three levels of readiness: low, medium, and high. Students were grouped into seven groups: three low-readiness groups, three medium-readiness groups, and one high-readiness group. The differentiated learning was implemented effectively, as indicated by the teacher’s observation score of 86.875% and the peer observer’s score of 88.125%, both of which fall under the “very good” category. The results of the individual test showed that 27 out of 37 students (72,97%) met the KKM, while 12 students (27,03%) did not. Among the medium- readiness group, 5 students did not meet the criteria, and among the low-readiness group, 5 students were not yet successful. These findings indicate that content-differentiated learning positively impacts students' learning outcomes, although further support is needed for those in the low-readiness group.

Abstract

This research is a descriptive qualitative research that aims to describe the implementation of content differentiated learning based on students' learning readiness on Sine Rule material in class XI-7 SMA Negeri 1 Jayapura. The subjects of this study amounted to 34 students who were selected using purposive sampling technique.  The instruments used include teaching modules, diagnostic assessments, teacher observation sheets and individual tests. Before learning, a diagnostic assessment was conducted to categorize students into three categories of learning readiness, namely low, medium and high. The assessment results showed that the learners were divided into 7 groups: 3 low groups, 2 medium groups, and 2 high groups. The implementation of content differentiated learning based on the assessment results went very well. This is shown by the results of teacher observation by the math teacher observer of 88.175% and by the co-researcher of 90.625%, both of which are included in the excellent category. The individual test results showed that 30 out of 34 learners reached the Minimum Completion Criteria (KKM), while the 4 learners who were not complete came from groups with low learning readiness.

Abstract

This research is a descriptive qualitative research that aims to describe students' Ways of Thinking and Ways of Understanding in solving arithmetic operation problems of rational numbers reviewed from Harel's theory. The subjects of this study were 19 students of class VII B SMP YPPK Santu Paulus Abepura. The determination of the subjects was carried out using a purposive sampling technique where there were special criteria so that the research objectives were achieved. The data collection technique in this study was an individual test conducted twice and time triangulation was conducted to ensure the validity of the data. The results of the study were that there were five characteristics of students' ways of thinking and ways of understanding in solving rational number arithmetic operations, namely thinking wrong and understanding right (SB), thinking wrong and understanding wrong (SS), thinking wrong (inconsistent) and understanding right (consistent), thinking wrong (inconsistent) and understanding wrong (consistent), and changes in characteristics where students experienced an increase or decrease in characteristics.
