Abstract

The provision of quality nursing services is determined by the performance of nurses in providing nursing care. The delivery of nursing care has hazards, one of which is ergonomic hazards. Good knowledge of ergonomic principles is essential for nurses therefore nurses have self-awareness, can improve work behavior, and avoid the negative impacts of ergonomic hazards, namely musculoskeletal diseases. This community service activity was carried out on nurses in the intensive care unit at a hospital in Pekanbaru City, which began with a pre-test, education, and post-test. Education was carried out using media as an Education Module consisting of working in a neutral/non-awkward position and posture, reducing excessive loads, reducing excessive repetitive movements, minimizing static positions, minimizing pressure at certain points, and stretching at work. The evaluation results showed an increase in nurses' knowledge after being given education. This activity is known to be effective as an initial solution in improving nurses' understanding of ergonomic principles in providing nursing care which is still lack. It is expected that this educational activity can be carried out on nurses in other clinical settings with more varied methods and media and reinforced with reminders.

Abstract

Dalam era globalisasi sekarang ini, teknologi informasi melaju dengan cepatnya. Adapun komputer yang merupakan peralatan yang diciptakan untuk mempermudah pekerjaan manusia, saat mencapai kemajuan baik di dalam pembuatan hardware maupun software. Koperasi Jasa Keuangan Syariah Berkah Madani membutukan sekali adanya suatu sistem informasi yang menunjang dan memberikan pelayanan yang memuaskan bagi para nasabah. Untuk itulah penulis mencoba membuat penelitian mengenai sistem pembiayaan mudharabah pada KJKS Berkah Madani yang sampai saat ini belum terkomputerisasi. Pada saat ini KJKS Berkah Madani berupa koperasi yang bergerak dalam bidang jasa keuangan. Sistem yang ada pada KJKS Berkah Madani ini masih dilakukan secara manual, mulai dari pencatatan nasabah yang melakukan pembiayaan, sampai penyimpanan data-data lainnya yang berhubungan dengan proses pembiayaan hingga sampai pembuatan laporan, sehingga memungkinkan pada saat proses berlangsung terjadi kesalahan dalam pencatatan, kurang akuratnya laporan yang dibuat dan keterlambatan dalam pencarian data yang diperlukan. Perancangan sistem informasi ini merupakan solusi yang terbaik untuk memecahkan permasalahan yang ada pada koperasi ini, serta dengan sistem yang terkomputerisasi dapat tercapai suatu kegiatan yang efektif dan efisien dalam menunjang aktifitas pada koperasi sehingga lebih kondusif dibanding dengan sistem terdahulu.

Abstract

"ULVA" NATURAL MARKING TECHNIQUES DEVELOPMENT IN ABALONE CULTURE (Haliotis squamata)  By  Gusti Ngurah Permana,, Ibnu Rusdia,  Gigih Satria Wibawaa and Iwan SetyabudibTagging is used to obtain some information during the process of selecting and managing population of abalone shells, Haliotis squamata. This research was conducted to determine the natural marker method of abalone, (H. squamata). The samples were used of  total length of the shell (initial average: 0.8 ± 0.2 mm).  Seed tagging using the Ulva sp. performed by giving a sequence of feed at the age of: 2-3 months (Ulva sp.), 3-4 months (Gracilaria sp.), 5-6 months (Ulva sp.), 6-10 months (Gracillaria sp.) and control 2 months (Ulva sp.), 3-10 months (Gracilaria sp.). The results of this study indicated that the tagging of the seeds with the Ulva method has a same growth pattern in both  treatment and control (38.93 ± 1.5 mm; 39.47 ± 1.44 mm). The effectiveness of Ulva tagging is seen in toca color finder (TC. 4103 green) and (TC 8135 brown), more sharpen in treatment compared to control. Ulva tagging technology can be applied to abalone seeds to see the sequence of the green color on the shell.

Abstract

Background. Nurses are at a high risk of exposure to hazards that threaten their health and safety. Effective nurse occupational safety management is crucial for ensuring nurse safety and improving shared healthcare services. However, nurses' experiences in managing occupational safety measures have not been widely explored. Therefore, this study aims to explore nurses' experiences in occupational safety management. Methods. A qualitative study with an interpretative descriptive approach was conducted. A total of 14 nurses working in a hospital in Pekanbaru City were invited to contribute. The sample was collected by a purposive sampling technique. Data collection employed a focus group discussion method, utilizing open-ended questions. The data were analyzed using Collaizi strategies. Results. Most of the participants indicated more than 10 years of work experience. The majority of the educational background was Ners. Four main themes were generated, namely the perception of occupational safety action, the efforts in occupational safety action, the barriers in occupational safety action, and the factors influencing nurses' implementation of occupational safety action. Conclusion. The participants had valuable experiences and ideas that should be considered by nurse leaders in improving the occupational safety action management in the hospital. Nurse managers, particularly head nurses, are expected to optimize their roles and functions in managing occupational safety action through direction, motivation, reminders, and supervision. Hospital management is advised to provide all facilities and also needs to improve the safety culture among nurses to support occupational safety action.

Abstract

Hypertension (referred to as "the silent killer") is one of the non-communicable diseases that can be quite dangerous if left uncontrolled, even leading to death. The mortality rate is 427,218 deaths out of Indonesia's population of 268,369,114. Hypertension complications include myocardial infarction, left ventricular hypertrophy, heart failure, aneurysm, and chronic kidney disease (Jelaković, 2022). According to Athiyah et al. (2019), hypertension is currently on the rise and requires long-term treatment. Hypertension ranks third in the outpatient data of BPJS Health participants in 2018, with the highest number of sufferers in Indonesia (Pusparisa & Ridhoi, 2020). This Community Service Activity will be conducted at the PTM Posyandu in Harjosari Village, Sukajadi District, Pekanbaru City, because Harjosari Village has been a community development area under the Riau Health Polytechnic (Poltekkes Kemenkes Riau) since 2021 and will continue until 2024. In addition, the choice of Harjosari Village for this program is based on interviews with clients, revealing that 22 clients actively visit the Posyandu in RW 01 and RW 04. The Posyandu in RW 01 is located in the prosecutor's housing complex, while the Posyandu in RW 04 is located on Bunga Harum Street. Based on initial surveys at the site, it was found that there were 5 clients with hypertension who were not receiving adequate support from their families. The purpose of this community service program is to assess the application of Thought Stopping (TS) to help families provide better support to family members with hypertension. The program will run from February to October 2024 (8 months). The activity will focus on applying Thought Stopping (TS) techniques to stop negative thoughts. The target audience for this program consists of 25 individuals. The implementation of the Thought Stopping therapy will be conducted in three sessions: Session 1: Stopping negative thoughts after hearing an alarm sound. Session 2: Stopping negative thoughts after seeing the word “STOP”. Session 3: Stopping negative thoughts after whispering or saying something quietly to oneself. The techniques used will include describing, modeling, role-playing, providing feedback, and transferring knowledge. A required output for this program is a scientific article published in a nationally accredited community service journal (Sinta 4), and an additional output will be intellectual property rights (HaKI).

Abstract

Perkembangan dunia usaha semakin maju pesat, baik perusahan dagang maupun perusahaan jasa sehingga megharuskan para pengusaha untuk dapat mengolah data serta melaksanakan manajemen perusahaan menjadi lebih baik hal ini tidak terlepas dari teknologi informasi yang terus berkembang. Kegiatan usaha akan kurang efektif jika aktivitas atau kegiatan usaha tidak mengikuti perkembangan pada masa kini yang mengedepankan penggunaan teknologi informasi, salah satunya adalah komputer. PT. Havidz Sarana Utama merupakan perusahaan yang kegiatan usahanyaa dibidang perdagangan umum dan jasa, pengolahan transaksi keuangan menggunakan masih manual, mulai dari bukti transaksi yang masih ditulis secara manual pada kertas nota, perekapan data transaksi yang masih ditulis di dalam buku, dan pembuatan jurnal umum, buku besar, jurnal penyesuaian, sampai dengan laporan keuangan yang disusun menggunakan Ms. Excel sehingga terkadang terjadi kehilangan bukti transaksi serta keterlambatan dalam membuat laporan keuangan, tidak dapat membuat laporan secara otomatis dan lain-lain. Oleh sebab itu penulis akan mencoba untuk menerapkan Aplikasi Akuntansi Zahir Accounting sebagai pemecahan masalah dalam pengolahan data akuntansi dan laporan keuangan, dengan adanya Zahir Accounting dapat memperkecil kemungkinan kesalahan penginputan data dan aplikasi Zahir Accounting mudah untuk dipelajari/dipahami, sehingga kinerja Perusahaan berjalan dengan baik, efektif, dan efisien dalam pencatatan transaksi keuangan serta pembuatan laporan.
