Abstract

Vegetables are a source of vitamins and fiber which are very beneficial for student growth. Vegetables can improve human brain performance. Students or santri who are in Islamic boarding schools generally consume minimal vegetables regularly. One of the Islamic boarding schools in the city of Bojonegoro. Community service activities in the form of hydroponic system training are needed by students with the aim of increasing students' knowledge of vegetable cultivation using hydroponics as an effort to empower students to independently consume vegetables. In the training activities that have been carried out, an automatic hydroponic system has been successfully created that uses a water level sensor in a DFT (Deep Flow Technique) pipe for irrigation. Service is carried out using the Rapid Rural Appraisal method and participatory learning and action. The results of the activities in this training were an increase in students' knowledge about hydroponics from 30% to 72%. Apart from that, there is also 1 hydroponic system dedicated to the Al Falah Islamic boarding school from the service team as a means of applying vegetable cultivation to meet the students' vegetable consumption needs.

Abstract

– k-Nearest Neighbor (k-NN) is one of the popular classification algorithms and is widely used to solve classification cases. This is because the k-NN algorithm has advantages such as being simple, easy to explain, and easy to implement. However, the k-NN algorithm has a lack of classification results that are strongly influenced by the scale of input data and Euclidean which treats attribute data evenly, not according to the relevance of each data attribute. This causes a decrease in the classification results. One way to improve the classification accuracy performance of the k-NN algorithm is the method of weighting its features when measuring the Euclidean distance. The exponential function of the optimized Euclidean distance measurement is applied to the k-NN algorithm as a distance measurement method. Improving the performance of the k-NN method with the Exponential function for weighting features on k-NN will be carried out by experimentation using the Data Mining method. Then the results of the performance of the objective method will be compared with the original k-NN method and the previous k-NN weighting research method. As a result of the closest distance decision, taking the closest distance to k-NN will be determined with a value of k=5. After the experiment, the goal algorithm was compared with the k-NN, Wk-NN, and DWk-NN algorithms. Overall the comparison results obtained an average value of k-NN 85.87%, Wk-NN 86.98%, DWk-NN 88.19% and the k-NN algorithm given the weighting of the Exponential function obtained a value of 90.17%.

Abstract

Desa Tlogoagung merupakan desa yang terletak di kabupaten Bojonegoro tepatnya di Kecamatan Kedungadem Kabupaten Bojonegoro. Keadaan pemukiman desa Tlogoagung memiliki jarak rumah antar rumah yang tidak padat, sehingga pekarangan rumah warga Tlogoagung luas. Pekarangan-pekarangan tersebut belum dimanfaatkan secara maksimal. Untuk memanfaatkan pekarangan, maka dilakukan pelatihan penanaman dengan metode hidroponik sebagai upaya untuk meningkatkan ekonomi masyarakat desa Tlogoagung Kedungadem Bojonegoro. Pelatihan dilakukan pada 15 agustus 2022 di balaidesa Tlogoagung Kedungadem Bojonegoro dengan peserta pelatihan yaitu perwakilan warga desa Tlogoagung. Sistem hidroponik yang dipraktikkan dalam pelatihan yaitu menggunakan sistem hidroponik NFT (Nutrient Film Technique) dengan bibit tanaman kangkung yang telah disemai di media rockwool. Dari hasil pelatihan, diketahui bahwa persentase warga desa Tlogoagung yang berminat melakukan penanaman dengan cara hidroponik yaitu 77% dan hasil monitoring diketahui telah ada warga desa Tlogoagung yang menanam tanaman secara hidroponik di pekarangan rumah.

Abstract

The heart is one of the most important organs in the human body. According to the WHO, heart attacks are the most common cause of sudden death worldwide, with more than 17.8 million people dying from heart attacks. A heart attack occurs when blood flow to the coronary arteries stops, depriving the heart muscle of oxygen, and causing a heart attack. Detecting a heart attack is very difficult due to the various symptoms. The purpose of this research is to compare the performance of the accuracy values of two algorithms, namely Decision Tree and Support Vector Machine (SVM) in classifying heart attacks. The results of this study show that the Decision Tree algorithm achieves the highest accuracy results compared to the SVM algorithm. The accuracy of the Decision Tree algorithm using a 60:40 ratio data splitting is 98.11% with a negative precision of 98.01% and positive of 98.17% and a negative recall of 97.04% and positive of 98.77%. Meanwhile, the SVM algorithm using data splitting with the same ratio produces an accuracy value of 92.80% with a negative precision of 90.24% and a positive of 94.43% and a negative recall of 91.13% and a positive of 93.85%.

Abstract

Used oil waste is classified as hazardous B3 waste that poses a significant environmental threat. To address the hazards posed by used oil waste, synthesizing activated carbon as an adsorbent for used oil is necessary. This research aims to synthesize and characterize activated carbon from corn husk waste as an adsorbent material for used oil. The methods employed in this research include dehydration, carbonization, and activation using HCl and NH4OH. The structure was analyzed using XRD, UV-visible spectrophotometer, and Oswald viscometer, followed by variations in mesh sizes of 60 and 100 and the addition of PEG. Based on the research results, variations in 60 and 100 mesh have nearly identical X-ray diffraction patterns, with values of 2θ at 19.2074° and 23.0729° in the 60mesh variation, and 2θ at 19.1333° and 23.2161°, which are indicative of graphite diffraction patterns as they fall within the ~25° range and match the CIF 9014004 data for phase C Graphite with space group p6/mmm. In UV-Visible spectrophotometer testing, variations of 60 mesh without PEG, 100 mesh without PEG, 60 mesh with PEG, and 100 mesh with PEG showed absorbance values of 2.3, 1.58, 1.394, and 0.966, respectively, and viscosity values of 22.089, 20.089, 21.09, and 19.21 cP. The 100mesh sample with the addition of PEG is the variation that can effectively adsorb used oil.

Abstract

Energy from fossil fuels is decreasing day by day and also causes many environmental problems. In the current era, many environmentally friendly renewable energy sources have been developed, such as the development of DSSC (Dye Sensitized Solar Cells). DSSC is a technology that utilizes colored materials sourced from nature which are used as absorbers of sunlight energy to be converted into electrical energy. In this research, the synthesis and characterization of organic material from kitolod leaves as DSSC will be carried out. Kitolod leaves (Hippobroma longifora) are wild plants that usually grow in home gardens and rice fields. Kitolod leaves which have chlorophyll can support the absorption of sunlight if applied as a sensitizer in DSSC. The methods that will be used in this research are making TiO2 paste, dye solution preparation, electrolyte solution preparation, DSSC fabrication, testing and characterization. The tests that will be carried out are testing the TiO2 layer, dye absorption, and electric current. Meanwhile, the characterization that will be carried out is dye absorption using UV-Vis, and electric current using a potentiometer. From the results of light absorption shows that when the wavelength is 500 nm or the green light spectrum, the maximum light absorption by the chlorophyll of kitolod leaves is 1.78 (a.u.). The maximum voltage (Vm) and maximum current (Im) in daylight lamps have greater values ​​compared to warm white lamps. The highest efficiency of the solar light source is shown when the air mass is 1.5 (08.30-08.40). The time of DSSC immersion in dye also influences the resulting of Vm and Im values ​​which can be shown in that the Vm and Im values ​​of DSSC 2 (30 minutes) are greater than those of DSSC 1 (10 minutes). The results of open circuit voltage (Voc) and the short circuit current (Isc) in this research still need to be improved to produce better efficiency.

Abstract

One source of environmentally friendly renewable energy that has begun to be widely developed is PSC (Perovskite Solar Cell) made from natural ingredients. PSC is a new breakthrough strategic mineral processing technology as an alternative to silicon in the industry of solar power safety and stability. PSCs are easier to manufacture compared to silicon-based solar cells. The PSC material in this research is perovskite CaTiO3 which is made from the reaction between calcium carbonate (CaCO3) which is obtained from the Tebalan shell powder of Tuban beach and titanium dioxide (TiO2). The method used in this research is substrate preparation, synthesis of Perovskite CaTiO3, making TiO2 paste2, electrolyte solution preparation, counter electrode preparation, fabrication perovskite solar cell (PSC), as well as testing, characterization and data analysis. The tests and characterization that will be carried out are: Crystal structure of powdered materials used in making perovskite solar cells using XRD (X-ray Diffractometer) type X-Pert3 Powder, testing electric current with a potentiometer, and measuring light with a lux meter. The results of XRD testing on the calcined powder showed that the structure of calcium titanate perovskite (CaTiO3) was as much as 68.2%. Meanwhile, the characteristic values ​​of the electrical properties of Tebalan clam shell perovskite solar cells from the lamp light source data obtained show that Vm and Im Daylight lamps have a greater value than warm white lamps and the efficiency value of the solar light source is highest when shown Air Mass 1.5, which is 0.000127%.

Abstract

Besi rongsok merupakan material logam bekas yang masih memiliki nilai ekonomi karena dapat didaur ulang. Namun, permasalahan yang dihadapi oleh pengusaha adalah kesulitan dalam meramalkan harga besi rongsok yang berfluktuasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meramalkan harga besi rongsok menggunakan metode Single Moving Average (SMA) guna membantu pengusaha dalam pengambilan keputusan harga jual. Data yang digunakan berasal dari UD Ragam Besi, mencakup harga besi dari Januari 2016 hingga Oktober 2024. Peramalan dilakukan dengan menggunakan periode 4 bulan terakhir. Evaluasi akurasi dilakukan menggunakan Mean Absolute Deviation (MAD), Mean Squared Error (MSE), dan Mean Absolute Percentage Error (MAPE). Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa metode Single Moving Average dapat memberikan estimasi harga besi dengan tingkat akurasi yang tinggi, seperti yang tercermin dari hasil peramalan bulan Desember yang menunjukkan harga aktual sebesar 5.450, dengan nilai MAD sebesar 160,32, MSE sebesar 44.670,81, dan MAPE sebesar 2,77%. Nilai MAD dan MAPE yang relatif rendah menunjukkan bahwa tingkat kesalahan peramalan pada periode tersebut berada dalam batas wajar. Dengan demikian, metode ini dapat digunakan sebagai acuan untuk menetapkan strategi harga yang lebih optimal dan mengantisipasi fluktuasi harga besi rongsok di masa mendatang. Selain itu, kontibusi praktis dalam penelitian ini adalah memberikan metode peramalan yang dapat membantu pengusaha dalam mengambil keputusan penetapan harga jual berdasarkan peramalan yang akurat.

Abstract

Goat waste has many benefits for plants. Many residents of Grabagan Village have goats as livestock, so goat droppings are often found in the Grabagan Village Tuban settlement. This Community Service aims to empower the community to use goat dung as a planting medium in Grabagan village. Piles of goat droppings can cause air pollution which can disrupt residents' activities. One of solutions to reducing goat waste is to use it as a planting medium. The method used is the ABCD method (Asset Based Community Development). Community service activities were carried out in Grabagan village with participants from 30 PKK women and 20 students from UPT SDN I Grabagan. Training activities involve participants in direct practice in making planting media. Increased knowledge of participants regarding understanding planting media from goat manure, namely from the first meeting 60% to 90% at the second meeting. Monitoring carried out after the training activity revealed that 45% of the participants practiced the utilization and use of goat dung planting media in their homes. Apart from residents' homes, planting media is also used for the toga corner in the Grabaga village hall.Keywords: animal waste (KOHE); goat waste; planting media; toga Abstrak: Limbah kotoran kambing memiliki banyak manfaat untuk tumbuhan. Warga Desa Grabagan banyak yang memiliki hewan ternak kambing sehingga kotoran kambing banyak ditemukan di pemukiman Desa Grabagan Tuban. Kotoran kambing yang menumpuk bisa menimbulkan polusi udara sehingga menganggu aktivitas warga. Salah satu solusi mengurangi limbah kotoran kambing dapat digunakan sebagai media tanam. Pengabdian Masyarakat ini bertujuan pemberdayaan masyarakat untuk memanfaatkan kotoran kambing sebagai media tanam di desa Grabagan. Metode yang digunakan yaitu metode ABCD (Asset Based Community Development). Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat dilakukan di desa Grabagan dengan peserta dari 30 ibu-ibu PKK dan 20 siswa dari UPT SDN I Grabagan. Kegiatan pelatihan melibatkan peserta untuk praktik langsung untuk membuat media tanam. Peningkatan pengetahuan peserta tentang pemahaman media tanam dari kotoran kambing yaitu dari pertemuan pertama 60% menjadi 90% pada pertemuan kedua. Monitoring yang dilakukan setelah kegiatan pelatihan diketahui bahwa terdapat 45% dari peserta yang mempraktikkan dalam pemanfaatan dan penggunaan media tanam dari kotoran kambing di rumah mereka. Abstract

Pendahuluan: Pemberdayaan masyarakat merupakan strategi penting untuk meningkatkan kemandirian dan kesejahteraan komunitas, terutama di pedesaan. Desa Sranak, Kecamatan Trucuk, Kabupaten Bojonegoro, memiliki potensi dalam sektor Usaha Mikro, Kecil, dan Menengah (UMKM). Studi ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan masyarakat dalam produksi dan pemasaran produk UMKM berbasis digital. Metode: Kegiatan ini berfokus pada pelatihan pemasaran digital dan penerapannya dalam penggunaan Whatsapp Business. Hasil: Adanya peningkatan pengetahuan sekitar 90% tentang Whatsapp Business dan 81% sudah mempraktikannya. Kesimpulan: Kegiatan ini bermanfaat karena Masyarakat dapat melakukan pemasaran digital untuk mengembangkan produk UMKM mereka.
