Abstract

The concept of the Messiah is a complex and often problematic concept for both Christians and Jews to understand. Christian often accept the concept too simplistically to the point of losing sight of the continuity of the concept with the Messianic prophecies in the Old Testament. In contrast to the Christians, the Jwes reject the concept mainly because their Messianic concept is very strong. Related to glory and power but they do not understand theat the Messiah must die even to the point of being crucified to atone for the sins of His people. Using a biblical theology approach. This article argues that the concept of the Messiah in the Bible must be fully understood in terms of the glory and suffering of the Messiah in the Bible. Bear the sin. Two the important biblical concepts for understanding both are the concept of The Son of Man and the concept of the Suffering Servant. In the deen of Jesus Christ, the glory and power of the Son of Man and the role of the Suffering Servant were simultaneously fulfilled through His humiliation on the cross and His exaltation through His resurrection from the dead. For this purpose this article first discusses concerning the Messiah in the Old Testament, the second: the Messiah and the Son of Man, the third: Son of Man and the Suffering Servan, and then concludes with a conclusion.

Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas tentang makna ungkapan “Jangan banyak orang diantara kamu mau menjadi Guru”, menurut Yakobus 3:1-2. Guru ialah seorang pengajar, baik di sekolah, di gereja, dan di masyarakat. Tugas guru ialah mendidik, mengajar, membimbing, membina peserta didik. Namun guru yang dimaksud Yakobus dalam teks ialah para guru Kristen yang meliputi: gembala, pendeta, misionaris dan para pengerja gereja lainnya, yang mengajar tentang kebenaran firman Tuhan.

Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas tentang Pelaksanaan Pendidikan Agama Kristen pada Anak Di kalangan Wanita Pekerja Di Dusun Bongo Kasuil. PAK pada anak adalah proses untuk mengajarkan kebenaran firman Tuhan dalam pribadi anak-anak, untuk lebih mengenal akan anugerah Tuhan dalam kehidupan mereka dan menjadi lebih baik dalam karakternya.

Abstract

Tanggung jawab gembala sidang dalam membimbing kerukunan hidup jemaat GSJA Anugerah SP IV Jangkang sangat dibutuhkan dalam hidup berjemaat, karena jemaat merupakan bagian dari masyarakat luas yang harus hidup rukun. Tujuan penelitian untuk mendorong gembala Sidang dalam membimbing kerukunan hidup jemaat di GSJA Anugerah SP IV Jangkang supaya jemaat tetap hidup dalam kerukunan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif. Menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif karena data dan informasi yang diperoleh kata atau narasi kemudian dapat dideskripsikan, dinarasikan, dan dijelaskan agar maknanya semakin jelas. Sumber data berasal dari para informan yaitu gembala sidang, majelis jemaat, dan anggota jemaat GSJA dan teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil temuan data dari penelitian ini adalah: (1) Gembala sidang memotivasi jemaat agar hidup rukun; (2) gembala sidang dapat mengunjungi Jemaat GSJA Anugerah SP IV Jangkang; (3) gembala sidang mengajar jemaat agar hidup percaya kepada Tuhan Yesus sebagai Tuhan dan Juruselamat; (4) harapan gembala sidang agar seluruh anggota jemaat dapat menguasai diri dari dosa, selalu berdoa, dan mendukung gembala dalam pelayanan. Kesimpulan: gembala sidang GSJA Anugerah SP IV Jangkang telah melaksanakan tanggung jawabnya dengan baik dalam membimbing dan mengarahkan jemaat berdasarkan pengajaran Yesus Kristus.

Abstract

Congregation members are God's people who should be cared for and shepherded by the pastor of the congregation. Because without being shepherded well and responsibly, God's people are easily influenced to carry out and maintain a culture of belief that is contrary to the truth of God's Word. Indeed, the truth of God's Word is the main source for organizing human life in the world, including the people of God in the Indonesian Faithful Christian Church (GKSI) Sebangar Congregation, Kuala Behe ​​District. In order for God's people in the GKSI Sebangar Congregation, especially the young men and women who are old to marry well without violating customary laws relevant to God's Word, the pastor's responsibility in shepherding is needed to be maximal and optimal. The pastor's responsibility as a Christian educator of the GKSI Sebangar Congregation regarding the mapak pue tetek mando traditional marriage is considered important because some young men and women after the mapak pue tetek mando event immediately marry like husband and wife without paying attention to Christian marriage. This study aims to describe the Belangin mapak pue tetek mando traditional marriage in the Sebangar area. The researcher used qualitative methods through observation, interviews, and literature review. The results indicate that pastors, as Christian educators, are increasingly loyal in their responsibility to shepherd all members of the GKSI Gethsemane Sebangar congregation, enabling young men and women of marriageable age to maintain a pure life.
