Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas tentang Pelaksanaan Pendidikan Agama Kristen pada Anak Di kalangan Wanita Pekerja Di Dusun Bongo Kasuil. PAK pada anak adalah proses untuk mengajarkan kebenaran firman Tuhan dalam pribadi anak-anak, untuk lebih mengenal akan anugerah Tuhan dalam kehidupan mereka dan menjadi lebih baik dalam karakternya.

Abstract

The rapid development of digital technology has significantly influenced the moral formation and identity construction of young generations, leading to complex ethical challenges in the digital era. Christian Religious Education is called to respond to this moral crisis through character formation rooted in Christ-centered values. This study aims to evaluate the implementation of Christocentric character education in addressing the moral crisis of youth in the digital era and to analyze its impact on students’ moral and spiritual development. The research employs a mixed-methods design with a quantitative evaluative emphasis. Data were collected through character questionnaires, structured observations, and semi-structured interviews with teachers and youth mentors. Descriptive statistical analysis and thematic analysis were applied to interpret the findings. The findings indicate that Christ-centered character education significantly strengthens students’ values of honesty, responsibility, and compassion, although challenges remain in fostering digital integrity. The study concludes that integrating Christocentric values holistically within curriculum and youth ministry provides a transformative foundation for developing resilient moral character in the digital age.

Abstract

This article explores the theological tension and integration between divine justice and mercy in the Old Testament. Contrary to widespread perceptions that often dichotomize the God of the Old Testament as purely wrathful or legalistic, this study argues that the Old Testament reveals a coherent theological portrayal of God as both just and compassionate. Using a qualitative-descriptive method rooted in biblical theology and intertextual analysis, the research examines legal texts, prophetic literature, and covenantal frameworks to show how God's justice operates within His steadfast love (ḥesed). The study highlights key biblical passages such as Exodus 34:6-7 and Micah 6:8 as foundations for understanding God's unified character. Further, the discussion shows how these themes find their climax in the New Testament through Jesus Christ, who embodies both justice and love. The article also reflects on the ethical implications of this theological integration, particularly for communities living in pluralistic and unjust contexts. The findings call for a balanced hermeneutical approach that avoids the extremes of fear-based legalism or sentimental universalism. Ultimately, the Old Testament does not present a divided God, but a God whose justice flows from love, and whose love upholds justice.
