Abstract

Strawberry is a horticultural commodity that produces a high economy, but in 2014 strawberry production decreased by 34.83%. The reason for the decrease in production is the unstable temperature and humidity conditions due to global warming. Another factor that causes strawberries to fail is due to the slowness of farmers in knowing changes in temperature and humidity in strawberry. The method used in this study was to compare the results of special treatment on microgreen strawberry nurseries indoor using natural vegetative methods and outdoor. System telecontrolling strawberry nursery real time with temperature and humidity parameters using a DHT22 sensor, soil moisture using a soil moisture sensor, soil pH using a soil pH sensor, time using RTC and light intensity using a light intensity sensor BH1750. The results of strawberry nurseries with telecontrolling an indoor plant height of 9 cm and a plant width of 12 cm, results of strawberry nurseries without telecontrolling treatment outdoor with a plant height of 7.5 cm and a plant width of 7 cm.

Abstract

The rapid advancement of science and technology encourages dynamic transformation in various sectors, especially in the field of information and communication technology (ICT), especially with the existence of Android-based smartphones. This advancement revolutionizes the way we access information, especially about various processed fish dishes in Indonesia. However, despite the plethora of culinary offerings, travelers often find it difficult to discover traditional dishes through social media platforms. To bridge this gap, a new app that utilizes artificial neural networks has been developed. The app allows users to photograph and upload images of processed fish dishes to recognize and provide detailed descriptions and recipes. In addition, integrating Google Maps makes it easy for users to find nearby places that serve these dishes. Testing the app with a dataset consisting of 1577 images of six types of processed fish dishes yielded promising results, with accuracy reaching 97.57% over 120 epochs. This innovation not only preserves cultural heritage but also enhances the culinary experience for locals and tourists.

Abstract

Puskesmas Manduro is one of the public health service centers located at Jl. Raya Ngoro KM 14, Manduro MG Village, Ngoro District, Mojokerto Regency, East Java. As a basic health service center, it is important to monitor air quality and maintain air quality in accordance with the Environmental Quality Standard (SBMKL). This study aims to design an Internet of Things-based air quality detection system that utilizes Sansevieria plants as one of the natural solutions in absorbing air pollution levels. The method used is the research and development method which includes system design, tool making, website design, tool integration, and system testing. The sensors used are MQ-7 sensors for carbon monoxide gas, MQ-135 sensors for nitrogen dioxide gas, MQ-131 sensors for ozone gas, Dust GP2Y1010AU0F sensors for PM2.5, and DHT22 sensors for temperature and humidity. The results of testing the system for three days obtained the average temperature 30.64C, humidity 73.62%, CO 735.63 µg/m³. NO2 27.30 µg/m³, O3 32.13 30 µg/m³, and PM2.5 2.14 µg/m³. Based on the test results that have been carried out, it shows that the air quality monitoring system can provide data, graphs, and indicator levels for the Air Pollution Standard Index (ISPU). Air quality data obtained from sensors can be displayed on the LCD and also displayed in real-time through the website.

Abstract

The transition toward renewable energy is critical to achieving global sustainability goals, with solar power playing a significant role in diversifying energy sources. This study examines the effect of the 7 MWp Selong On-Grid Solar Power Plant (PLTS) on electricity network stability in West Nusa Tenggara (NTB), Indonesia. Using a qualitative approach, data were collected through in-depth interviews with five key informants, including policymakers, technical experts, and community representatives. Thematic analysis was conducted using NVivo software to identify the operational impacts, challenges, and opportunities of solar integration. Results indicate that the Selong PLTS contributes positively to voltage stability, reduces reliance on fossil fuels, and diversifies the energy mix. However, challenges such as intermittency, infrastructure limitations, and the absence of energy storage hinder its full potential. The study highlights the need for technological upgrades, stakeholder collaboration, and community engagement to optimize renewable energy adoption in NTB. These findings provide actionable insights for enhancing grid stability in regions integrating renewable energy.
