Abstract

Tujuan kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini addalah untuk mengenalkan media pembelajaran yang dapat dibuat dari bahan sederhana dan gampang ditemukan dalam kehidupan sehari-hari serta dapat mengaplikasikan penggunaan media pembelajaran BAPER (Batang Perkalian) Lidi pada siswa kelas V SD Negeri Tomba untuk materi perkalian. Metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini adalah metode diskusi dan metode demostrasi. Beberapa hasil yang dicapai dari kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini, yaitu peserta kegiatan mulai mengenal jenis-jenis media pembelajaran yang dapat digunakan dalam pembelajaran matematika juga mulai tertarik ingin membuat dan mengembangkan media pembelajaran BAPER (Batang Perkalian) Lidi sebagai media pembelajaran materi perkalian. Kegiatan ini sangat mendukung peningkatan kemampuan guru dalam meningkatkan produktivitas pendidikan dengan membuat dan mengembangkan produk-produk pendidikan diantaranya yaitu media pembelajaran, khususnya media pembelajaran BAPER (Batang Perkalian) Lidi. Melalui media pembelajaran tersebut diharapkan siswa lebih mudah memahami pelajaran matematika terutama materi perkalian, sehingga minat belajar siswa menjadi meningkat.

Abstract

Evaluasi pembelajaran matematika di sekolah menengah atas masih sering dilakukan secara konvensional, sehingga kurang menarik bagi siswa. Kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk menerapkan aplikasi Quizizz sebagai media evaluasi pembelajaran matematika pada kegiatan Pengenalan Lingkungan Persekolahan (PLP). Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan oleh mahasiswa Program Studi Pendidikan Matematika Univesitas Dayanu Ikhsanuddin dengan melibatkan siswa kelas XI sebagai subjek kegiatan. Metode pelaksanaan meliputi tahap perencanaan, penyusunan instrumen evaluasi berbasis Quizizz, pelaksanaan evaluasi pembelajaran, serta evaluasi hasil kegiatan. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan aplikasi Quizizz mampu meningkatkan antusiasme dan keaktifan siswa serta,  mempermudah guru dan mahasiswa PLP dalam memperoleh hasil evaluasi secara cepat dan efisien.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the Project Based Learning (PjBL) model on the mathematical communication skills of grade VIII students of SMP Negeri 2 Baubau. This research is a Quasy Experiment research. The population in this study was all grade VIII students in the even semester of SMP Negeri 2 Baubau consisting of 345 students. The research sample was taken using purposive sampling technique , selected class VIII.1 as an experimental class of 22 students and class VIII.4 as a control class of 22 students. The instrument used in this study is a test in the form of an essay. The results of the study are known students' mathematical communication skills in solving statistical problems on the subject of data centering measures. Based on the calculation results using independent samples t test, a calculated value of 2.547 was obtained. For the value of ttable at the level of significance 0.05 (5%) and db = 42 which is 1.681. Based on the calculated value > ttable. So it can be concluded that there is an influence of the Project Based Learning (PjBL) model on the mathematical communication skills of grade VIII students of SMP Negeri 2 Baubau

Abstract

The formulation of the problem in this study is, is there any significant influence of using Wordwall-based interactive learning media on the mathematics learning outcomes of fifth grade students at SD Negeri 2 Baadia. The objective of this research is to find of the effect of using Wordwall-based interactive learning media on the mathematics learning outcomes of fifth grade students at SD Negeri 2 Baadia. This is quantitative research by applying the quasi experimental Design method. The population in this study were all class V students of SD Negeri 2 Baadia in the academic year 2023/2024, even semester, consisting of 2 classes, and the samples were class VA and class VB, totaling 46 students using the purposive sampling technique. Data collection in this research used observation and tests. The data obtained were analyzed using the independent sample T-Test. Based on the research results, it was concluded that the calculated t value > t table at the 5% significance level was 2,405 > 2,015. Thus, the value > then Ho is rejected, and has a significance value (2-way) of 0,02 < 0,05. So, it can be concluded that there is an influence of the use of Wordwall-Based Interactive Learning Media on the mathematics learning outcomes of class V students at SD Negeri 2 Baadia.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to determine the effect of the contextual problem-oriented DMR learning model on the mathematical communication abilities of grade VIII students at SMP Negeri 4 Siompu. Thi research is a quantitative research with a quasi-experimental method using a post-test only control group design. The population in this study were all students in grade VIII of SMP Negeri 4 Siompu. The research sample consisted of 2 classes, namely class = 24 students (experimental class) and class = 23 students (control class). The research instrument is in the form of essay questions. The results of the research obtained an average learning outcome for experimental class students of 78.33 and an average learning outcome for control class students of 69.78. Based on the results, = 2.179 with df = 45 and significant (2-tailed) = 0.035 < (  (0.05) so it can be concluded that (H0) is rejected and (H1) is accepted. This means that there is an influence between students who are taught using the contextual problem-oriented DMR learning model and conventional learning models on the mathematical communication abilities of grade VIII students at SMP Negeri 4 Siompu.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to determine the effect of the Talking Stick Type Cooperative Learning Model Approach on Increasing the Mathematics Learning Activeness of Elementary School Students, namely class V of SD Negeri 2 Bone-Bone. The research method used in this research is the experimental method. The research population was all fifth grade students at SD Negeri 2 Bone-Bone which consisted of 2 classes. The sample used in the research was 38 students. The instruments of this research are an initial questionnaire and a final questionnaire. Data were analyzed using the mean difference test. The results of the research using the average difference test obtained a tcount value of 2.145 with a sig value. (2-tailed) = 0.039 <0.05, so H0 is rejected and HI is accepted. It can be concluded that there is an influence of the talking stick type cooperative learning model approach on elementary school students' active mathematics learning, specifically in class V of SD Negeri 2 Bone-Bone.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the influence of mathematical communication skills on the mathematical reasoning skills of fifth-grade students of SD Negeri 62 Buton. This type of research is quantitative research with a survey method. The population in this study were all fifth-grade students of SD Negeri 62 Buton, consisting of 17 students in class A and 17 students in class B. The sample in this study was the entire population, namely 34 students taken using convenience sampling techniques. Instruments and data collection techniques used questionnaires and tests. Data analysis techniques used were descriptive statistics, inferential statistics using simple linear regression tests. Based on the results of the analysis and discussion, it can be concluded that mathematical communication skills have an influence on the mathematical reasoning skills of fifth-grade students of SD Negeri 62 Buton. This can be seen from the analysis results, which show a positive regression coefficient for the mathematical communication ability variable, indicating a direct relationship between mathematical communication ability and students' mathematical reasoning ability. The calculated t-value of 2.217 is greater than the t-table value of 2.037. The coefficient of determination is 13.3% for variable X versus Y, while the remaining 86.7% is influenced by other factors not examined in this study.

Abstract

The problem in this study is, is there any significant effect of learning concentration on mathematics learning outcomes of class VIII students of SMP Negeri 8 Baubau? The objective of this study is to find out yhe effect of learning concentration on mathematics learning outcomes of class VIII students of SMP Negeri 8 Baubau. This type of research is quantitative research with the Ex-Post Facto method, where the population of this study is all class VIII students of SMP Negeri 8 Baubau with a total of 104 students spread across 4 classes. While the sample in this study was 23 students. The instruments used were questionnaires about student learning concentration and documentation on monitoring student learning concentration while studying and mathematics learning outcomes of class VIII students of SMP Negeri 8 Baubau. This data was analyzed using descriptive analysis, inferential statistical analysis, and simple linear regression analysis. The result of this study concluded that there is a significant influence of learning concentration on the mathematics learning outcomes of class VIII students at SMP Negeri 8 Baubau.

Abstract

The problem statement of this study is, what are the learning difficulties of grade XI students of SMA Negeri 2 Baubau in solving trigonometry problems?This study aims to determine the learning difficulties of grade XI students of SMA Negeri 2 Baubau in solving trigonometry problems. This study used a qualitative method with a descriptive method. The subjects were 34 grade XI.9 students of SMA Negeri 2 Baubau. The instruments are tests and interview guidelines. These intsrumens are used to obtain data on the learning difficulties experienced by students and the factors contributing to these difficulties. After the data were collected by using tests and interviews, than they were analyzed by using data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. Based on the research results, the conclusion of this research shows that students experience difficulties in four indicators: (1) difficulty in determining the steps for solving problems, (2) understanding concepts or formulas, (3) stating relationships between problem components, and (4) performing mathematical operations. The cause of these difficulties came from internal factors, such as a lack of conceptual understanding and limited cognitive abilities, as well as external factors such as a lack of active participation in learning and the teacher’s delivery methods.
