Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of students' writing skills in Indonesian language subjects for material writing poetry between students who were given the Word Guess Method and conventional method. This research uses quasi-experimental method with Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The population in this study was all fourth grade students of Taman Cibodas Elementary School, with the total number were 62 students. Class IVA with the number of students were 32 students as the experimental class, and class IVB with the number of students were 32 students as the control class. Data collection techniques using test techniques with essay writing skills test instruments consisting of 1 item that has been tested for validity. Hypothesis testing in this study used the t-test. The results showed that there was a significant influence on the method of guessing words on the ability to write poetry for fourth grade students at SDN Taman Cibodas. This is evidenced by testing the posttest hypothesis from the results of the t-test obtained tcount=4.47 and ttable=2.00. Thus, this can be interpreted that the writing skills using the word guessing method are higher than using conventional learning methods.

Abstract

ABSTRAKAwal mula kegiatan membaca, menulis dan berhitung diajarkan pada Sekolah Dasar. Akan tetapi, sebagian besar kebiasaan membacan membaca yang kurang berkembang di kalangan siswa Sekolah Dasar. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui pengaruh kebiasaan membaca terhadap kecerdasan linguistic siswa kelas II SDN Gebang Raya Kota Tangerang. Metode dalam penelitian ini adalah metode penelitian survey. Teknik pengambilan data dalam penelitian ini adalah teknik non-tes yakni wawancara, observasi dan angket. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah 49 siswa di kelas IIA sejumlah 24 siswa dan kelas IIB sejumlah 25 di SDN Gebang Raya Kota Tangerang. Teknik pengambilan sampel adalah random sampling yang berjumlah 44 siswa dari seluruh kelas II di SDN Gebang Raya Kota Tangerang. Pengujian hipotesis dilakukan dengan menggunakan rumus korelasi Product Moment, yang diawali dengan uji normalitas. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diketahui terdapat pengaruh positif yang signifikan pada kebiasaan membaca (X) terhadap kecerdasan linguistik (Y). Hal ini terbukti dengan dilakukannya uji korelasi Product Moment sebesar 0,689 yaitu berada pada interval 0,60-0,80 yang berarti memiliki pengaruh yang tinggi. Dan untuk uji hipotesis signifikansi diperoleh data nilai t hitung sebesar 6,17 dan t tabel dengan df (44-2=42) sebesar 1,68. Hal ini menunjukan bahwa nilai t hitung > t tabel yang berarti hipotesis penelitian (Ha) diterima. Hasil penelitian ini bahwa terdapat pengaruh signifikan pada kebiasaan membaca.Kata Kunci: Kebiasaan Membaca, Kecerdasan Linguistik

Abstract

Metode dan model pengajaran Bahasa saat ini sangat bervariasi, sehingga para pengajar dapat leluasa memilih metode dan model pembelajaran yang cocok digunakan dalam proses belajar Bahasa Indonesia. Para pengajar dapat menerapkan metode dan model pembelajaran yang sesuai dengan keterampilan berbahasa. Pada keterampilan menyimak, metode yang dapat digunakan yaitu Metode Listening Team dan Model Auditory Intellectually Repetition (AIR). Metode dan model pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia tersebut merupakan metode dan model yang terdapat dalam pembelajaran kooperatif (Cooperative Learning). Dua metode pembelajaran kooperatif tersebut memiliki sasaran untuk mengasah keterampilan menyimak siswa Sekolah Dasar. Oleh karena, metode Listening Team dan Model Auditory Intellectually Repetition (AIR) dapat merangsang memfokuskan perhatian siswa dan mengasah kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa Sekolah Dasar.Kata Kunci: Listening Team, Auditory Intellectually Repetition

Abstract

ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbandingan Model Index Card Match Dengan Time Token Arends terhadap keterampilan berbicara dengan mata pelajaran Bahasa Indonesia siswa kelas V SDN Caringin III Kabupaten Tangerang. Metode penelitian ini adalah quasi eksperimen jenis Nonquivalent Control Group Desaign. Hasil dari uji validitas isi dengan uji pakar Bahasa Indonesia. Sebelum data analisis, terlebih dahulu di uji persyaratan yaitu uji normalitas dengan menggunakan Chi Kuadrat dan uji Homogenitas dengan menggunakan uji Fisher. Uji Normalitas untuk kelas eksperimen 1 diperoleh thitung 2,0041 < ttabel  11,07 sedangkan untuk kelas eksperimen 2 thitung 1,1662  < ttabel  11,07 maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa kedua kelas sampel diperoleh dari populasi yang berditribusi normal. Hasil perhitungan uji homogenitas diperoleh Fhitung 1,27 sedangkan Ftabel 1,84 hal ini berarti Hasil perhitungan uji homogenitas diperoleh Fhitung 1,07 < Ftabel 1,84  hal ini berarti populasi dari kedua data memiliki varians yang homogen. Pengujian statistik dengan menggunakan uji t pada taraf signifikan 0,05 diperoleh uji thitung 1,76 sedangkan  ttabel 2,00. Karena thitung lebih kecil dari tabel 1,76 < ttabel 2,00 maka H0 diterima dan H1 ditolak. Dengan demikian tidak terdapat Perbandingan Antara Model Index Card Match Dengan Time Token Arends. Akan tetapi dilihat dari rata-rata kelas eksperimen 1 yaitu 75,06 dan kelas eksperimen 2 yaitu 70,71. Melihat hasil dari nilai rata-rata postes kelas eksperimen 1 yang menggunakan model Index Card Match lebih baik daripada kelas eksperimen 2 yang menggunakan model Time Token Arends.Terhadap Keterampilan Berbicara Siswa Kelas V SDN Caringin III Kabupaten Tangerang. Kata Kunci : Model ICM, TTA, Keterampilan Berbicara.

Abstract

Kemampuan membaca pemahaman sangat krusial bagi penguasaan, peningkatan, dan pengetahuan siswa. Tujuan dilakukannya penelitian ini adalah (1) Bagaimana kemampuan membaca pemahaman siswa pada kelas V SD Negeri Bonisari (2) Bagaimana kendala yang dialami peserta didik pada membaca pemahaman (3) Bagaimana cara yang dilakukan pendidik untuk  menaikkan kemampuan membaca pemahaman. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif, dimana subjeknya merupakan peserta didik kelas V. Instrumen penelitian ini menggunakan tes serta wawancara. Menurut hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa (1) Hasil tes kemampuan membaca pemahaman peserta didik kelas V SD Negeri Bonisari memperoleh nilai umumnya 67 termasuk ke dalam kategori relatif. (2) Dari hasil wawancara faktor yang menjadi penghalang pada kemampuan membaca pemahaman yaitu motivasi serta minat, kebiasaan, keadaan dari peserta didik, dampak lingkungan, serta bahan bacaan. (3) dari hasil wawancara usaha yang dilakukan yaitu memotivasi peserta didik pada membaca, memilih tujuan membaca, kepekaan pengajar terhadap peserta didik yang sulit pada membaca, penggunaan metode serta media pada mengajar, penggunaan wahana serta prasarana.Kata Kunci : Kemampuan Membaca Pemahaman

Abstract

This research is based on mathematics learning on spatial geometry, teachers still use makeshift learning media. The research was conducted to produce Pop Up Book media for spatial geometry mathematics in class II. The main objective of this research is to determine the validity and effectiveness of a Pop Up Book learning media for mathematics on spatial geometry for class II SDN Cangkudu 03 Tangerang Regency. This research uses the Research and Development (R&D) method using the ADDIE model which consists of five stages: (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation). Data collection techniques used are observation, interviews, and questionnaires. Quantitative and qualitative data are analyzed using a Likert Scale with an assessment score of 1-5. The results of this research and development show that according to material experts, the validity level is 89.3% of the "Eligible" criteria, and according to media experts the validity level is 87.1% of the "Eligible" criteria, and according to educators/teachers the validity level is 92.7% of the "Very Eligible" criteria, student responses in one-to-one group trials obtained a percentage of 82.6% of the "Very Eligible" criteria, small group trials obtained a percentage of 95.7% of the "Very Eligible" criteria, large group trials obtained a percentage of 96.5% of the "Very Eligible" criteria from the results of the student test obtained a percentage of 85.75 of the "Very Effective" criteria which indicates that the Pop Up Book learning media is considered good and feasible to use. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the Pop Up Book learning media for mathematics on spatial geometry material in class II is very feasible in terms of validity and effectiveness to be used as a learning medium in class II of SDN Cangkudu 03 Tangerang Regency.

Abstract

The purpose of this development research is to develop teaching media in the form of Pop Up Book on Speaking Skills of Third Grade Students at Tangerang 2 State Elementary School using the ADDIE model and method. This research uses observation instruments, interviews, documentation, questionnaires and tests (pre-test & post-test). The results of validation from media experts get a score of 4.4 with a validity level of 87% which is classified as “Worthy (Valid)”. While the results of validation from material experts obtained a score of 4.3 with a validity level of 86% which is classified as “Eligible (Valid)”. Then the validation results from the assessment of the class teacher get a score of 95% which is classified as “Very Feasible”. The results of the student response questionnaire assessment in the small (5 students) and medium (10 students) scale trials received a scoring average of 4.46 with an average feasibility value of 89% which is classified as “Very Good / Very Feasible”. Then the results of the student Post-Test on small and medium scale trials are said to have increased above the minimum achievement target of 80%, which can be categorized as “very good”. Thus it can be concluded that the product developed in the form of Pop Up Book media is very feasible to be used in learning activities in the speaking skills of third grade students at Tangerang 2 State Elementary School.   Keywords: speaking skills, pop up book, elementary education

Abstract

This study aims to 1) determine the creative thinking ability of class IV-A students of SDN Cibodas 5 Tangerang City in the 2024/2025 academic year, 2) determine the ability to write descriptive essays of class IV-A students of SDN Cibodas 5 Tangerang City in the 2024/2025 academic year, 3) determine the relationship between creative thinking ability and the ability to write descriptive essays of class IV-A students of SDN Cibodas 5 Tangerang City in the 2024/2025 academic year. In order to answer the above questions, this study was designed using a quantitative approach and was conducted at SDN Cibodas 5 Tangerang City. There were 28 students and consisted of 1 class, namely IV-A, which was used as a sample in this study. This sample was taken all because the number was less than 100. This study used a test as an instrument in data collection. Based on data analysis, it was found that 1) the results of the creative thinking ability test with an average score obtained by students reached 87.25, this figure is included in the category of a fairly good level of achievement, 2) the results of the descriptive essay writing ability test with an average score obtained by students reached 88.43, this figure is included in the category of a fairly good level of achievement, thus it can be said that class IV-A students of SDN Cibodas 5 Tangerang City are able to write descriptive essays, 3) the results of the product moment correlation test showed a significance level of 0.00 with a moderate correlation, thus it can be said that the results of the correlation analysis show that there is a relationship between creative thinking and the ability to write descriptive essays in class IV-A students of SDN Cibodas 5 Tangerang City.

Abstract

Discussing facts and opinions in Indonesian language lessons often makes the classroom atmosphere feel rigid. To break this pattern, Flash Cards come as a simple yet powerful medium that sparks learning interactions. With their colors, images, and easy-to-remember format, Flash Cards are expected to boost motivation and help students clearly distinguish between facts and opinions. A quasi-experimental design with a Nonequivalent Control Group Design was applied in this study, involving 66 fifth-grade students of SDN Pondok Bahar 3 in the 2024/2025 academic year. Class VA served as the experimental group using Flash Cards, while Class VB acted as the control group. The research instrument consisted of 25 multiple-choice questions that had been validated to measure learning outcomes. Data analysis using a t test revealed that the pretest results showed no significant differences, while the posttest indicated a meaningful gap with a t value of 2.977 higher than the t table of 1.997. These findings confirm that Flash Cards are not merely colorful pieces of paper, but a creative strategy that strengthens comprehension and enhances student achievement in learning facts and opinions.
