Abstract

Pati Regency is one of the largest rice-producing areas nationwide. However, data on the productivity of rice plants have been inadequate. So it appears the problem, 1) how the productivity of rice and how to estimate productivity of rice in support of food self-sufficiency program in Pati District? Population rice area Pati regency with Sample 85 points based on the interpretation of NDVI. The sampling method is simple random sampling. The first variable is productivity of paddy and the second variable is rice productivity estimates. The research instrument used questionnaire. Data analysis using the digital image interpretation technique and quantitative descriptive. Comparing the results mean produtivitas rice by BPS with the results of the study (2014) 5.43 with 5.5 tons / ha, the difference of 0.07 tons / ha. Among the data DISPERTANAK with the results of the study (2015) 109480 with 106,188.62 ha / year. There is a difference of 3.00%. So that remote sensing methods utilizing NDVI value in rice plants can be used to estimate the harvest area.

Abstract

Coastal erosion is a natural process that occurs in the Village District Bedono Sayung Demak regency. Thispaper aims to examine the efforts of local communities toward coastal erosion. The method used field surveyinstruments to guide in-depth-interviewing, direct observation, and documentation. Sources of informationderived from community residents, community leaders, and government officials. Based on the researchresults known that communities efforts toward abrasion in the area were done by planting mangroves,elevating the house floor, making the stage home, while government support in the form of mangroveseedlings, repairing trails, making the walls of surge protectors, as well as providing new land for relocationof the residents.

Abstract

This study aims to assessing changes in watershed vegetation density in multitemporalBodri (1992-2009) with remote sensing satellite imagery. This researchis descriptive-eksplanatory. Research variables include changes in vegetationdensity on the watershed Bodri (1992-2009). The results showed that thevegetation density of Bodri watershed began in 1992, 2002, and 2009 may changerelatively dynamic and each category is different. Tightly categories grew wide,otherwise meeting the more narrow category. This indicates that reforestation bedone in the upstream watershed Bodri progressing well.

Abstract

Perubahan Spasial wilayah pantai Delta di kabupaten Kendal cukup dinamis dan hingga kini masih berlangsung sebagai akibat pengaruh proses sedimentasi dan aktivitas gelombang. Di wilayah kajian terdapat daerah yang mengalami abrasi dan sedimentasi, tetapi secara keseluruhan proses sedimentasi cenderung lebih luas. Proses sedimentasi yang tinggi merupakan indikasi bahwa pengelolaan DAS kurang baik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji Model Perubahan Spasial Pantai Delta Kabupaten Kendal secara multi waktu (1910 – 2009) dengan teknik penginderaan jauh. Bahan penelitian yang digunakan adalah peta topografi skala 1:50.000 tahun 1910, dan citra Landsat hasil pemotretan tahun 1972, 1992, 2002, dan 2009. Software pengolahan data menggunakan ER Mapper 7.0. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat diketahui bahwa perubahan wilayah pantai Delta kabupaten Kendal berlangsung cukup dinamis. Ada empat model perkembangan garis pantai yang berlangsung di pantai Delta kabupaten Kendal, yaitu Model I, wilayah pantai yang cenderung berkurang ke arah daratan. Model II, wilayah pantai yang cenderung bertambah ke arah lautan. Model III, wilayah pantai yang semula bertambah kemudian mengalami pengurangan. Model IV, wilayah pantai yang cenderung bertambah ke arah lautan namun kemudian mengalami kestabilan pantai. Kata kunci: Perubahan spasial, delta, dinamis

Abstract

Many factors are taken into consideration when it will breed pond fishery. Location clearance, soil ph, soil texture, land slope, distance to sea, distance to river, rainfall, and axisibility are some of the necessary equilibrium. The right conditions with these parameters will provide maximum results for fish farmers, otherwise if these parameters are not met it will affect the results that will be obtained. Kendal Regency is one of the regencies in Central Java with coastal area. There are 7 districts in Kendal Regency whose territory is on the coast, Kaliwungu, Patebon, Brangsong, Rowosari, Kangkung, Kendal, and Cepiring. The purpose of this study is to assess the suitability class of ponds in coastal areas of Kendal. The method used is the scoring analysis of the parameters of the location of a good pond, among others, land slope, soil texture, soil ph. Based on the parameters used in the evaluation of land suitability, in the coastal region of Kendal Regency can be classified into three classes, namely very appropriate (S1) covering the District Kangkung and District Rowosari. The corresponding class (S2), the region's distribution in this class is almost in most coastal areas of Kendal Regency. In the quite appropriate class (S3) is the class of land that if it will be cultivated ponds need special treatment is located in Kendal and Kaliwungu District because most of the land for settlement and moor. To achieve the target of pond production, it needs to be cultivated in a very suitable class (S1). This is considering almost no obstacles in cultivating ponds.
