This study aims to determine the effect of progressive muscle relaxation therapy on academic stress levels in adolescents of grade XII. The research design used in this study is Quantitative Pre-experimental: pre-post test (one group pre-post test design) with a cohort approach. The population in this study were all adolescents of grade XII Social C Public Senior High School 2 Tuban as many as 36 adolescents and grade XII Science 2 Public Senior High School 4 Tuban as many as 37 adolescents. The total participants of this study were about 73 adolescents selected by cluster random sampling technique obtained 31 adolescents each grade. Data were collected through pre-test and post-test questionnaires. The data was analyzed using the Wilcoxon test with a significance level of α <0.05 using SPSS software version 26 for windows, the results obtained were Asymp sig (2-tailed) = 0.000, which means the smaller the p-value, the more significant the results of the study, so that p = 0.000 <0.05 then H1 is accepted. This shows that progressive muscle relaxation therapy has an effect on reducing academic stress levels in grade XII adolescents at Public Senior High School.

Abstract

Background: Ankle injuries may lead to activity limitations and reduced quality of life. Family support and injury severity are believed to be related to quality of life in ankle injury patients, but empirical evidence in Indonesia remains limited. Aims:  This study investigated the relationship between injury severity, family support, and quality of life among patients with ankle injuries attending the Physiotherapy Clinic in Palang District. Methods: A cross-sectional correlational study was conducted with 101 patients selected through simple random sampling. Data were collected using the WHOQOL-BREF questionnaire, the Talar Tilt Test, and the Family Support Scale (FSS), and analyzed using Spearman’s Rho. Results:  The study found a significant positive relationship between family support and quality of life (p=0.000; r=0.647), indicating that higher family support is associated with better quality of life. A significant negative relationship was also found between the degree of injury and quality of life (p=0.000; r=0,511), indicating that more severe injuries are associated with lower quality of life; and 4). Conclusion:  Quality of life in patients with ankle injuries is significantly influenced by family support and injury severity; greater family support improves quality of life, while more severe injuries reduce it

Type 2 diabetes is a persistent medical condition with an increasing incidence that requires long-term treatment. One of the decisive factors in blood glucose control Patient self-awareness is a key variable examined in this study. The research was conducted to assess the relationship between self-awareness and blood glucose levels among individuals with type 2 diabetes in the Tuban Community Health Center area. A correlational analytic study with a cross-sectional design was utilized. The study involved a population of 135 patients, with a sample of 101 respondents selected using simple random sampling.Research data collection was conducted using a self-awareness questionnaire and a blood glucose observation sheet. Data analysis was performed using a chi-square test with a significance level of 0.05. The results of the analysis showed a p-value of 0.002 (p < 0.05), indicating a significant association between self-awareness and blood glucose levels. Based on these results, the study findings generally indicate that greater self-awareness typically allows for more optimal control of blood glucose levels.

Abstract

Forgiveness can be described as a response given by someone who has experienced hurt in order to avoid revenge and expressions of anger towards the perpetrator, while choosing to show compassion, affection, love, and positive behavior. One of the factors that influence forgiveness is emotional intelligence, which includes an individual's ability to motivate themselves, show resilience to failure, control emotions, maintain satisfaction, and regulate psychological conditions. The purpose of this study was to determine whether there is a relationship between emotional intelligence and the level of forgiveness among high school students in Montong District. This research is non experimental with a correlational analytical design using a cross sectional approach. The research population included 592 high school students in Montong District. The sampling technique applied was probability sampling with cluster random sampling, resulting in a sample of 239 students. Data collection was conducted using questionnaires that measured emotional intelligence and forgiveness. The results of the analysis using the Spearman test at α = 0.05 showed p = 0.000 < 0.05 with a correlation coefficient of r = 0.389, indicating a low relationship between the two variables, thus accepting the hypothesis. Based on this description, it can be concluded that there is a relationship between emotional intelligence and the level of forgiveness among high school students in Montong District.

Abstract

Abstract

High-intensity social media use among adolescents can trigger anxiety and psychological stress, driving continuous information-seeking and social comparison, a phenomenon known as Fear of Missing Out (FoMO). This study aims to analyze the effect of mindfulness therapy on reducing FoMO levels and to contribute to developing mindfulness-based mental health interventions for adolescents.Employing a quantitative approach, this study utilized a pre-experimental, one-group pre-post-test design. A sample of 100 adolescents was selected via purposive sampling based on specific inclusion and exclusion criteria. Data were collected using a content- and construct-validated FoMO questionnaire. The analysis revealed a significance value of 0.000 ($p < 0.05$), indicating a significant effect of mindfulness therapy on reducing adolescent FoMO levels. Furthermore, an effect size of 0.95 demonstrated a large practical intervention effect. Consequently, mindfulness therapy is not only statistically effective but also holds substantial practical implications as a potential intervention to mitigate FoMO and enhance the psychological well-being of adolescents in the digital age.
