Abstract

IMPLEMENTATION OF SCHOOL BASED MANAGEMENT (Studi at Al-Azhar 37 Middle School in Pekanbaru)School Based Management (SBM) is the alignment of resources which independently ran by schools where all stakeholder groups involved. SBM also provides a flexibility for schools to determine directions and policies that are relevant to the situation and environmental conditions. The purpose of this study was to determine the implementation of SBM in Islamic-Based Junior High Schools. This research was taken at Al-Azhar 37 Middle School in Pekanbaru. The research method that was qualitative research with a case study approach. The research subjects were the principal, student representatives, public relations representatives, administrative staff, and 2 teachers and 5 students. The research object was the implementation of school-based management it self. The data collection techniques used observation, interviews and documentation. As the results of this study, the authors found that several school policies were related to student management, school relationship management with the community, curriculum management, personal management, special service management, facilities and infrastructure management, school budget management. One of the policies that related to student management was providing the online registration of prospective new students as well as giving prospective students the terms and conditions It was continually completed by the requirements to do an interview, taking test of Math, English, Recitation and memorization test juz 30.

Abstract

SCHOOL COMPETITIVENESS SWOT ANALYSIS: A CASE STUDY IN SMKN 1 PASIR PENYU INDRAGIRI HULU,  RIAUOne of the characteristics to see the competitiveness of a school is its accreditation ranking. Schools that have been accredited A can be said to have a great opportunity in developing effective strategies to improve competitiveness. The purpose of this study was to determine the strategic position of SMK N 1 Pasir Penyu with SWOT analysis (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, and Threats). All data were found by researchers through interviews, literature studies, observations, and documents, and questionnaires. Analysis of the data the researcher did was IFAS and EFAS, then SWOT analysis to find out some internal and external factors and to identify a strategic position of SMK N 1 Pasir Penyu. The results of this study indicate that SMK N 1 Pasir Penyu is located in quadrant I position (Aggressive), which means that SMK N 1 Pasir Penyu is in the survival stage. Researcher's suggestion for SMK N 1 Pasir Penyu is to be able to fix several internal weaknesses. To be able to avoid and reduce the threat of competition between schools, SMK 1 Pasir Penyu can create a unique competition as a differentiator between similar schools.

Abstract

This study discusses the theory and model of human resource development in islamic education in Ahmad Fatah Yasin's view. The purpose of this research is to find out about the theories and models used in human resource development. This research is a Library Research (library research) using inductive analysis techniques. In the concept of human resource development Ahmad Fatah Yasin explains theories regarding human resource development, of which there are two approaches to developing the quality of Human Resources (HRM), namely the first "buy" approach, where this approach is an approach oriented to withdrawal or which is commonly referred to as Human Resources (HR) recruitment and the second "make" approach is an approach that is oriented towards the development of Human Resources in the form of: education, guidance and also training. And the most prominent thing in human resource development according to Ahmad Fatah Yasin is the human resource development model, of which there are five models in human resource development.

Abstract

Penelitian ini disusun untuk mengetahui strategi pengembangan budaya berbasis madrasah dan problematikanya di MAN 3 Pekanbaru. Metode yang dilakukan dalam penelitian ini yaitu deskriptif kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data yaitu wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Dalam menganalisis data, penulis menggunakan reduksi data dan penyajian data, dan verifikasi data. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pada dasarnya startegi pengembangan budaya madrasah itu memiliki nilai-nilai islami yang ditamankan pada diri peserta didik dan perlu didorong dengan prestasi akademik dan non akademik, Semua nilai-nilai tersebut perlu ditanankan pada semua kegiatan di dalam kelas maupun di luar kelas. Penulis melihat bahwa MAN 3 Pekanbaru telah menerapakan budaya unik yang tidak ada di madrasah lain seperti budaya panggilan Ayah dan Bunda untuk para tenaga pendidik, dan budaya tidak pacaran. Selain budaya yang unit tersebut, MAN 3 Pekanbaru juga menerapkan budaya disiplin, budaya sopan santun, saling menghargai dan menyayangi yakni seperti budaya yang telah ada di beberapa madrasah pada umumnya. Dalam pelaksanaan strategi pengembangan budaya di MAN 3 Pekanbaru, penulis masih menemukan beberapa kendala kendala, namun Kepala Madrasah beserta stake holders yang lain akan melakukan pengawasan dan evaluasi berupa rapat internal, untuk terus meningkatkan kinerja dalam pengembangan budaya madrasah islami sehingga bisa menjadi lebih baik lagi. Abstract

The purpose of this research is to find out how the form of discipline in the Islamic boarding school madrasatul Qur’an and how the strategy in the formation of a culture of discipline in the Islamic boarding school Madrasatul Qur’an. This study used a qualitative research method with research subjects, namely the head of the boarding school as the key informant and the student staff and stakeholders as additional informants. Research data obtained through observation, interview and documentation techniques. The technique of checking the validity of the research data was triangulation. Data analysis used is data collection, data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The results of the research that the researchers obtained in the formation of a disciplined culture at the Madrasatul Qur’an Islamic Boarding School were. 1) the leadership of the boarding school and internal organizations form discipline, namely by arranging activities in a systematic and directed manner, so that it is easy to control. 2) The strategy used in the formation of a culture of discipline is more effectively used, namely through moral education, exemplary leadership of the boarding school. Then, the intensity of the continuous interaction between the students and the board. There are rules and sanctions for students that are used to establish a disciplinary culture for students. To carry out these two things, the leader has an important role ini carrying out his duties and fuctions. Leaders must make subordinates aware of their duties and responsibilitional goals. In this case the leader must have the abality to manage an educational institution

Abstract

This research investigated about the implementation of marketing strategy at Junior High School of Al-Faruqi Kampar.  The research problems were 1) how the implementation of marketing strategy was, 2) what supporting and obstructing factors influencing in increasing marketing strategy at Junior High School of Al-Faruqi Kampar.  It was a descriptive qualitative research.  The main informants of this research were the principal and the vice of public relations, and the supporting informants were 1 head of school administration, 1 HRD (human resource development) team, 5 guardians of students and 4 students.  The object of this research was the implementation of marketing strategy at Junior High School of Al-Faruqi Kampar.  Observation, interview, and documentation were used for collecting the data.  The data were analyzed by using reduction, presentation, and conclusion.  The findings of this research showed that the implementation of marketing strategy at Junior High School of Al-Faruqi Kampar was in accordance with the proper way: planning a marketing strategy by using market identification, segmentation, product differentiation, marketing communications and educational institutions properly services.  The obstructing factors in implementing of marketing strategies at Junior High School of Al-Faruqi Kampar were the permission when entering the promotion permit, there were schools that did not accept it.  The Supporting factors in implementing of marketing strategies at Junior High School of Al-Faruqi Kampar were using relationships, the relationships were the parents of students and students to help promote.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui manajemen laboratorium untuk meningkatkan mutu sekolah di SMA N 2 Siak Hulu. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif kualitatif dengan teknik pengambilan data menggunakan wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Informan utama yakni kepala laboratorium fisika, kepala laboratorium kimia, kepala laboratorium biologi, kepala laboratorium IPS, kepala laboratorium bahasa, kepala laboratorium komputer, kepala laboratorium TIK, kepala laboratorium multimedia dan informan pendukung yaitu kepala sekolah, wakil kepala sekolah sarana prasarana, wakil kepala sekolah kurikulum, bendahara, dan 3 guru mata pelajaran. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan manajemen laboratorium di SMA N 2 Siak Hulu ini secara keseluruhan. 1) (a) perencanaan yang dibuat setiap awal tahun ajaran baru untuk mendata semua kebutuhan yang diperlukan serta jadwal penggunaanya, (b) pengorganisasian yang dibuat juga sudah sangat sesuai mulai dari struktur laboratorium dan pembagian kerja serta pembagian jadwal penggunan laboratorium, (c) pelaksanaan yang dilakukan sesuai dengan perencanaan hanya saja alat dan bahan yang menjadi penghambat untuk melaksanakan praktikum, (d) pengawasan dilakukan kepala sekolah wakil kepala sekolah sarana prasarana tiap 6 bulan sekali. 2) faktor pendukung dari manajemen laboratorium ini ialah fasilitas yang baik dan faktor penghambat yaitu alat dan bahan yang habis

Abstract

As a center of information and a of knowledge, the madrasah library has an significant role in helping students develop their horizons. The purpose of this study is to ubderstand and know the management and standards of the madrasah library at MAN I Pekanbaru. The method used in collecting data in this study is through observation, interviews, and documentation. This atudy describes library organization, library work procedures, library work relations, collection and classification of library materials, cataloging, library user services, forming a reading  culture, and madrasah library standards. MAN 1 Pekanbaru library has an organizational structure that is bound by good working relationships with internal stakeholders. Management of collections of library materials is carried out with directed planning, while user services, which include circulation, administration, reference, and digital services provide easy access. The classification (DDC) with e-DDC application support and cataloging using the Anglo American Cataloging Rules (AACR) system.

Abstract

The increasing demand for Islamic boarding schools to deliver both religious and academic education has prompted curriculum integration efforts nationwide. However, previous studies have not fully addressed how pesantren practically implement this integration while maintaining educational quality. This study explores how Al-Ihsan Boarding School in Riau integrates the Diniyah Curriculum with the National Curriculum, focusing on implementation practices, challenges, and institutional responses. The main research problem centers on how pesantren can balance two different pedagogical frameworks within a limited time and capacity. Using a qualitative approach with descriptive analysis, data were collected through in-depth interviews and observations involving the Deputy Head of Curriculum and the Boarding School Leader. The data were analyzed thematically through stages of data condensation, categorization, interpretation, and verification. Findings reveal that integration enhances students’ competencies across both curriculum domains, yet faces challenges including contrasting instructional methods, time constraints, and varied student preparedness. To overcome these, Al-Ihsan has developed contextualized support strategies, such as study clubs and tutoring sessions, which help students adapt and succeed. This study contributes a context-specific model for curriculum integration in pesantren and recommends future research on broader institutional comparisons, as well as policy support for adaptive academic management in Islamic boarding schools.
