Abstract

In the economic growth of an area external factors are able to have a large impact on the economy of a region but this growth is not able to survive because when this factor shifts it will also affect the economy, so one of the economic resilience of a region is through the development of a local economy based in the community economy. If seen from the structure forming the GRDP of Jepara Regency, Jepara Regency is an area with rural characteristics (Rural) which leads to the direction of an urban (Urban) characteristic where the economy is sustained by the agricultural sector for rural characteristics but in Jepara district it also grows rapidly its cultivation and growing large and retail trade. With this condition, Jepara Regency has great potential to develop Regional Superior Products (PUD), either later in the form of clusters or OVOP (one village one product).

Abstract

Abstract PT Urchindize has more than 35 anchovy suppliers, although the company has many suppliers, it still often encounters obstacles. The obstacle felt by the company is that the supplier has not been able to meet a number of standard criteria owned by the company. The company has not yet implemented the proper selection and assessment method for suppliers. Based on this, the company must select suppliers to get suppliers who are truly able to meet company needs consistently and with quality. Based on the results of data processing using the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) method, obtained the most influential criteria in supplier selection in the following order of priority: price criteria, delivery criteria, quality criteria, supplier relationship criteria, service criteria and responsibility. While the right supplier in the selection of suppliers for PT. Urchindize namely Mr. Ali Yudin became the main priority with a weight of 0.181, second was Mr. Akhsan with a weight of 0.159, third was Mr. Sugiyanto with a weight of 0.141, fourth was Mr. Junaidi with a weight of 0.118, the fifth was Mr. Masdawi with a weight of 0.102, the sixth was is Mrs. Mustarikah with a weight of 0.081, seventh is Mr. Sofyan and Mr. Idris with a weight of 0.073, eighth is Mr. Yusman with a weight of 0.044, the last priority is Mr. Abdul Rokhman with a weight of 0.037. Abstract

Universitas ISlam Nahdlatul Ulama Jepara is one of the private universities in the district of Jepara which is located in the coastal area. Based on data obtained from the UPT section of the UNISNU Data Center, from 2016 to 2018 the number of new students experienced a less significant increase. One of the problems that arise is the inaccuracy of the region in carrying out direct promotion strategies so that student interest is reduced. The solution offered is by mapping areas/schools that have the potential to implement direct promotion strategies. The results of this study produced 3 clusters that lead to the level of Vocational High School (SMK) education. The cluster results are said to be accurate because the distance from the first student data to the first cluster center is 4, that the distance from the first student data to the second cluster center is 1 and that the distance from the first student data to the third cluster center is 1 with the evaluation used with a comparison of the BCV value = 21, 09 WCV value = 12211.29 and the ratio of both = 0.0017 with Good criteria

Abstract

PT Dian Adi Furni merupakan salah satu perusahaan manufaktur di bidang furniture. Berbagai macam furniture diproduksi dari yang berbentuk antik sampai modern Dalam proses produksi, perusahaan sering mengalami masalah penumpukan dalam proses penyelesaian produk terutama di bagian divisi kursi. Hal ini dikarenakan tingginya permintaan kursi, salah satunya adalah kursi Colonial. Dengan permintaan yang tinggi itu, sering terjadi penumpukan bahan baku di bagian pembuatan komponen sebesar 0,432 m3. Sehingga stasiun kerja lainnya mengalami kelonggaran sebesar 8,9% atau sebanyak 43 menit dari jam kerja 8 jam/hari, sehingga mengganggu operator kerja lainnya sebanyak 6 orang di bagian perakitan. Salah satu cara untuk mengatasi masalah tersebut adalah dengan efisiensi stasiun kerja dengan pendekatan metode line balancing. Setelah dilakukan analisis, stasiun kerja yang optimal diperoleh dengan menggunakan metode Ranked Positional Weight ( RPW ) adalah 4 stasiun kerja dengan line efficiency ( LE ) sebesar 97,95%, balance delay ( D ) sebesar 2,05% dan smoothnes indeks sebesar 492,17 detik. Sedangkan dengan metode Largest Candidate Rule (LCR) adalah 5 stasiun kerja dengan nilai line efficiency ( LE ) 96,77 %, balance delay ( D ) 3,23 % dan smoothnes indeks 285,88 Detik.

Abstract

“Perwujudan Desain Rak Multifungsi Bergaya Minimalis Untuk Ruang Tamu” hadir sebagai sebuah karya cipta produk mebel di tengah-tengah produk-produk rak buku yang ada di pasar, karena jenis produk tersebut masih banyak diminati oleh konsumen terutama yang berdesain minimalis. Terdapat permasalahan yang timbul adalah 1) Bagaimana mendesain produk rak multifungsi bergaya minimalis agar tercipta desain yang harmonis 2) Bagaimana proses produksi rak multifungsi yang mampu mendukung aktivitas ruang tamu.Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah observasi, dokumentasi dan teknik analisis data yang bertujuan mengumpulkan informasi tentang produk tersebut. Kemudian data-data dianalisa dengan direduksi, disajikan, dan diverifikasi atau diambil kesimpulan. Berdasarkan kesimpulan di atas dapat dibuat sketsa desain alternatif untuk mencari bentuk yang unik dan sederhana tidak rumit agar lebih mudah dalam perawatan.

Abstract

Total Quality Management (TQM) is one of the tools used by business people in improving the progress of a company. The company uses Total Quality Management (TQM) because it has proven to be a big concern for managers in improving company performance. This study aims to determine the effect of Total Quality Management (TQM) on Employee Performance at PT POMI Paiton through three Total Quality Management (TQM) elements, namely teamwork; education and training; and employee engagement and empowerment. This type of research is quantitative with the research method used is associative. The source of this research data is an employee of PT POMI Paiton with a total sample of 86 respondents. Furthermore, the data collection method used is a questionnaire. Then, data processing techniques, namely validity and reliability tests, and data analysis techniques, namely multiple regression and hypothesis testing. The results of this study show that: 1) Simultaneously, the Total Quality Management (TQM) elements, namely teamwork; education and training; and employee involvement and empowerment affect employee performance at PT POMI Paiton. 2) Partially, the teamwork variable, education and training variable, have no positive and significant effect on employee performance; while employee engagement and empowerment variable have a positive and significant effect on employee performance. The regression results that have been carried out show the value of the coefficient of determination (R2) of 41.8%. This indicates that the large percentage of the three elements of the eleven elements of the Total Quality Management (TQM) can explain employee performance, while 58.2% is explained by other variables. The results of this study can provide information or as a signal to the company in improving the performance of company employees.

Abstract

Humback Grouper (Cromileptes altiveles) is a type of grouper fish that has high economic value. Currently the problem faced in grouper farming is the low survival rate due to cannibalism. This study aims to determine the effect of stocking density on the growth and survival of  Humback    Grouper (Cromileptes altiveles) seeds from stages D60–D120. This study used a completely randomized design with four treatments at densities of 2 individuals/10 liters, 4 individuals/10 liters, 6 individuals/10 liters, and 8 fish/10 liters repeated for each treatment three times. The feed was given in the form of chopped trash fish with a frequency of twice a day in the morning and evening. Growth data (absolute growth data, daily growth data) and survival data were analyzed using analysis of variance (ANOVA) to show that the treatment had an effect on growth and Humback  Grouper (Cromileptes altiveles) survival rate and Duncan's  test to find out the difference in mean values between treatments. The results showed that stocking density had a very significant effect on absolute growth and daily growth rate, and had a significant effect on survival. Treatment A (2 fish/10 liters) produced the best absolute growth, daily growth rate, and survival with values of 20.047 g, 3.303%/day, 100%, respectively.

Abstract

Industries of Troso weaving Jepara mostly use a handloom hand or alat tenun bukan mesin (ATBM) and their weavers use a work chair while weaving. Their working posture is so poor due to non ergonomic of work chair. It will cause fatigue and musculoskeletal disorder in years ahead as accumulation of their pain. Based on that the aim of this research is to redesign work chair for the weavers in one of Small and Medium Enterprises (UKM) XZY Troso that has 30 weavers as a respondense. The ergonomic approach use Nordic Body Map (NBM) Questionnaire to identify musculoskeletal discomfort of 30 weavers were found 3 pain in the left upper arm, 21 pain in the back, 18 pain in the waist, 9 pain in the buttock, 6 pain in the left calf and 6 in the right calf, 6 pain in the left ankle and 6 in the right ankle, 6 pain in the left foot and 6 in the right foot. To determine anthropometric dimensions of 30 weavers were measured by anthropomethry method and analyzed using statistic steps by calculating mean, standard deviation. An anthropometric calculation 5th, 50th and 95th percentiles used to specify dimensions work chair proposed. This research has generated new dimensions of work chair the seat height is 58 cm, the width is 44 cm, the depth is 35 cm, the height is 117 cm and new design of work chair has additional features like a drawer under the seat and back rest at the back.

Abstract

UKM tenun ikat ABC di kabupaten Jepara memproduksi tenun ikat menggunakan alat tenun bukan mesin. Berdasarkan hasil observasi kursi kerja para pengrajin belum ergonomis karena sesuai dengan dimensi tubuh para pengrajin dan alat tenun yang digunakan. Para pengrajin mengalami musculosceletal disorders yaitu sakit pada bagian pantat, pinggul, pinggang serta punggung. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengurangi musculosceletal disorders dengan merancang ulang kursi kerja tenun ikat. Perancangan kursi kerja menggunakan metode antropometri agar sesuai dengan dimensi tubuh para pengrajin tenun ikat. Metode nordic body map digunakan untuk mengetahui tingkat musculosceteal disorders yang dirasakan oleh para pengrajin. Penelitian ini menghasilkan kursi kerja yang ergonomis dan dapat mengurangi tingkat musculosceletal disorders para pengrajin. ABC Ikat woven UKM in Jepara, Jepara produces Ikat using non-machine looms. Based on the results of observations, the work chairs of the craftsmen were not ergonomic because they matched the body dimensions of the craftsmen and the looms used. The craftsmen experience musculosceletal disorders, namely pain in the buttocks, hips, waist and back. This study aims to reduce musculosceletal disorders by redesigning the Ikat work chair. The design of work chairs uses anthropometric methods to fit the body dimensions of the woven craftsmen. The nordic body map method is used to determine the level of musculosceteal disorders felt by the craftsmen. This research produces work chairs that are ergonomic and can reduce the level of musculosceletal disorders of the craftsmen.

Abstract

CV CJ Furniture merupakan perusahan berskala menengah yang bergerak di industri penghasil produk-produk furniture berbahan baku jati maupun mahoni seperti kursi, meja, almari, tempat tidur, dll. Pada kurun waktu bulan Februari-Maret 2023 terjadi lonjakan permintaan terhadap produk kursi dan meja kuliah, meja sekolah serta kursi sekolah sehingga mengakibatkan terjadinya keterlambatan pengiriman terhadap 4 produk tersebut. Selama ini penjadwalan produksi yang digunakan perusahaan berdasarkan pada urutan kedatangan order pertama datang pertama dilayani. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengevaluasi sistem penjadwalan produksi yang berjalan di perusahaan dengan metode penjadwalan algoritma Heuristik Pour untuk mengetahui urutan pekerjaan (job) yang memberikan nilai makespan lebih rendah. Data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah data primer dan sekunder hasil pengamatan dihitung dengan metode stop watch untuk mencari waktu baku masing-masing job yang digunakan untuk penjadwalan produksi dengan metode First Come First Serve dan algoritma Heuristik Pour. Hasil yang didapatkan adalah penjadwalan dengan metode heuristik pour performansinya lebih baik karena makespan yang dihasilkan lebih kecil dari metode sebelumnya. Penjadwalan terbaik jatuh pada urutan 2-3-4-1 dengan nilai makespan 13,33 jam dengan selisih 0,4 Jam atau setara 15 menit dibandingkan metode FCFS dengan memiliki makespan 13,73 jam.    CV CJ Furniture is a medium-sized enterprise engaged in the industry producing furniture products made from teak and mahogany, such as chairs, tables, cupboards, beds, etc. In the period February-March 2023 there was a surge in demand for lecture chairs and desks, school desks and school chairs, which resulted in delays in the delivery of these 4 products. So far, the production scheduling used by the company is based on first-come first-served order. This study aims to evaluate the production scheduling system that runs in the company with the proposed scheduling method of the Heuristic Pour algorithm to find out the job sequence that gives a lower makespan value. The data used in this study are primary and secondary data from observations calculated using the stop watch method to find the standard time for each job used for production scheduling using the First Come First Serve method and the Heuristic Pour algorithm. The results obtained are scheduling with the pour heuristic method has better performance because the resulting makespan is smaller than the previous method. The best sequencing schedule falls on the order of 2-3-4-1 with makespan length of 13.33 hours with a difference of 0.4 hours or the equivalent of 15 minutes compared to the FCFS method which has makespan length of 13.73 hours.
