Abstract

Rainfall increases the problem of waste management in Bermi Village, Mijen District, Demak Regency, causing waste management to be mixed into puddles of water in the school environment, environmental pollution, and health risks for students in carrying out learning activities at Bermi State Elementary School. Effective waste management is important. especially in communities with minimal environmental awareness. The Unisnu Jepara Real Working Group (KKN) held a socialization on the use of waste in making Ecobricks at Bermi State Elementary School. The outreach was carried out to increase students' awareness about waste management in a sustainable way. This research method uses a qualitative approach with the research location at SD Negeri Bermi. Observations, interviews and documentation of activities were carried out during the socialization and creation of Ecobricks. The data was analyzed thematically to identify the effectiveness of activities. This research aims to provide a solution in managing inorganic waste in the Bermi State Elementary School environment and village environments that have not been managed well. The results of the research show that in socialization activities the use of waste in making Ecobricks in Bermi State Elementary School was conducive and students were enthusiastic in participating in the training.

Abstract

The drying oven is a primary support in the furniture manufacturing business, which is carried out using simple and natural techniques, namely the use of solar heat. Based on findings at the partner's location, this collaborative research between lecturers and students will focus on wood drying as the main issue with the aim of helping to increase the potential benefits of wood dryness at Rotra Furniture Annual Jepara in order to maximize furniture production. This research is related to the Product Design Study Program roadmap through the development of education, culture, and creative industry that will be implemented at Rotra Furniture, especially in relation to the use of wood raw materials with a national standard dryness level of 12%, which is suitable for the needs of furniture design that is now developing again. The target of this research is to investigate and report the basic principles of the technology for installing moisture sensor devices with the recommended technological concept, targeting TKT at level 1 within one year. This research will continue to TKT targets at levels 2 and 3 with the readiness for implementation and proof of concept of technology on wood furniture business operators directly. The methodology used is experimental to collect performance data based on time and the rate of drying in the wood oven. The experiment was carried out using local teak wood that was wet after sawing division until it reached a level of dryness that was ready to become furniture production material. This study also involves data collection techniques with field study approaches through direct surveys in the field and interviews with the owners of the Rotra Furniture business. The data analysis technique used in this research is an interactive model, including data collection, data reduction, data analysis, and conclusion drawing. This research has been carried out up to 70% of activities and will be continued with further research with the support of various competent parties.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan dan mengevaluasi upaya Pengembangan Pariwisata Warisan Budaya di Desa Bermi, Mijen, Kabupaten Demak. Tujuan dari pengembangan potensi ini adalah untuk meningkatkan pendapatan asli desa yang belum terealisasi sepenuhnya. Hal ini disebabkan oleh kurangnya regulasi pemerintah desa terkait wisata desa. Salah satu potensi yang telah ada sejak lama adalah Sumur Gandeng, yang dapat menjadi sumber utama pendapatan bagi Desa Bermi. Wisata religi ini memiliki tiga sumur yang memiliki karakteristik berbeda, yakni air tawar, air asin, dan air manis. Air tawar dari salah satu sumur menjadi konsumsi utama masyarakat setempat, bahkan selama musim kemarau pun sumber air tetap tersedia. Sementara itu, dua jenis air lainnya digunakan untuk pengobatan alternatif. Namun, upaya untuk mengembangkan Desa Bermi menjadi destinasi wisata Sumur Gandeng belum terorganisir dengan baik, hanya terdapat penambahan bangunan pintu gerbang masuk ke area Sumur Gandeng. Pengunjung yang datang ke Sumur Gandeng saat ini mayoritas adalah mereka yang memiliki kepentingan khusus dalam ritual, bukan sebagai pengunjung yang menikmati keindahan tempat wisata. Pengelolaan wisata desa dilakukan oleh Pemerintah Desa, dengan bantuan beberapa orang dari masyarakat yang bertugas menjaga kebersihan lingkungan sekitar Sumur Gandeng.

Abstract

This research focuses on the process of producing pins and holes from tenon and mortise machines. Every time the production process, namely 20 sets, experiences a failure of 20%, the characteristics of the failure are a large size between the size of the purus and the wrong hole which does not match the specifications expected by consumers. The company has a target length of the purus and depth of the hole of 30 mm as well as the width of the purus and the width of the hole. 60 mm with a tolerance limit of 2 mm. This research aims to control the process capabilities of tenon and mortise machines. The method used in this research is the IMR control chart to determine the machine process capability value (Cp) and the process capability index value (Cpk). The results of the research show that in the calculation of process capability in the dimensions of shaft length, shaft width, depth of hole and hole, all four do not meet specifications. After analyzing the process capability, the cause of the defect is then searched for using a fishbone diagram, namely creating improvement proposals using the Poka Yoke method. Results of the fishbone diagram: human factors are the dominant factor causing defects. To minimize defects due to human factors, it is necessary to design an ultrasonic distance sensor as a warning function for operators using the Poka Yoke method. The results of applying an ultrasonic distance sensor can increase the process capability value to be in accordance with specifications.

Abstract

This article discusses the impact of industrialization in Jepara Regency, focusing on education, economy, and culture. The purpose of the research in this article is to identify the impact of industrialization, the factors that influence it, and how the Jepara community adapts to these changes. Through a descriptive quantitative approach, this study aims to provide scientific and practical contributions to the development of social sciences, especially anthropology, as well as to regional development, especially Jepara Regency. This article also discusses the background context of industrialization, the development of economic growth centers, and its impact on the arts, traditions, and lifestyles of the community. By exploring the basic concepts of industrialization and their relevance to Jepara Regency, this article provides in-depth insights into the industrial transformation in the region.

Pada pengiriman produk pencarian rute optimum menjadi masalah yang semakin penting bagi sebagian pengendara kendaraan dikarenakan adanya kenaikan harga bahan bakar. Sehingga dengan adanya jarak tempuh tercepat yang sejalan dengan waktu tempuh yang singkat dapat lebih sedikit menghemat biaya perjalanan.. Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu untuk mencari dan menentukan rute pengiriman produk pratesthi dengan metode dynamic programming yang di diterapkan dan diharapkan bisa menyelesaikan berbagai masalah seperti alokasi, muatan (knapsack), capital budgeting, pengawasan persediaan, penentuan jalur terpendek, dan lain-lain. Melalui metode dynamic programing kita dapat menghitung jarak tempuh dan waktu lamanya pengiriman jadi dapat menentukan jalur pengeriman selanjutnya dengan waktu tercepat. Dengan  menghitung jarak dan waktu dari beberapa pengiriman terdahulu kita dapat menemukan waktu pengiriman terlama dan dapat membuat ulang rute jalur pengiriman produk. dari 16 jalur pengiriman produk pratesthi kita dapat menghitung dan menemukan waktu tercepat dengan waktu 458 menit atau 7 jam  38 menit dengan rute SEMARANG – PEMALANG – CIREBON – BOGOR – JAKARTA

Abstract

Research aims: This study explores the effect of Green Human Resources Management (GHRM) practices on Business Sustainability through Green Work Engagement and Green Innovative Work Behavior in the context of furniture SMEs in Jepara. The research is underpinned by the AMO concept (Ability, Motivation, Opportunity) theory, with the objective of promoting pro-environmental business commitments and enhancing sustainable performance.Design/Methodology/Approach: This descriptive quantitative research employs explanatory analysis using SEM-PLS (Structural Equation Modeling-Partial Least Squares). Data were collected through purposive sampling from 116 furniture SMEs in Jepara Regency. The factors were assessed on a Likert scale, and statistical analysis was performed to evaluate the proposed relationships.Research findings: The findings reveal that GHRM practices significantly positively affect Green Innovative Work Behavior and Green Work Engagement. Furthermore, Green Innovative Work Behavior and Engagement significantly influence Business Sustainability. However, GHRM practices alone do not directly impact business sustainability; they demonstrate a significant indirect effect when moderated by Green Innovative Work Behavior and Engagement.Theoretical Contribution/Originality: This study extends the application of AMO theory by demonstrating how GHRM practices contribute indirectly to business sustainability through green behavioral mechanisms. It highlights the critical role of employee engagement and innovation in achieving sustainability goals within environmentally focused SMEs.Practitioners/Policy Implications: The results underline the significance of adopting GHRM practices, such as eco-friendly training and recruitment, to foster employee engagement and innovative behaviors. Policymakers and practitioners in SMEs should focus on strategies that align organizational goals with environmental sustainability to gain competitive advantages in the market.Research Limitations/Implications: This study's limitation pertains to SMEs in Jepara Regency, perhaps constraining the generalizability of the findings. Future research may investigate the relevance of these findings in different areas or industries to deepen the comprehension of GHRM's wider ramifications.

Abstract

Optimalisasi waktu dalam keseimbangan lintasan produksi sangat penting bagi perusahaan yang bergerak di industri komponen otomotif seperti PT YYY dimana proses produksi dibuat secara massal dimana metode dan elemen-elemen kerja dilakukan berulang-ulang. Oleh karena itu keseimbangan lintasan ini harus direncanakan dengan baik supaya mampu mengefisiensikan penggunaan tenaga kerja dan memaksimalkan keuntungan perusahaan. Untuk mengatasi hal tersebut, diperlukan manajemen pengendalian produksi yang baik agar tidak ada waktu dan operator yang menganggur hingga berakibat kerugian bagi perusahaan. Line balancing merupakan penyeimbangan penugasan beberapa elemen kerja ke stasiun kerja untuk meminimalkan banyaknya work station dan mengurangi total waktu menunggu (idle time) pada seluruh stasiun kerja pada tingkat output tertentu. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode Rank Positional Weight (RPW). Adapun alur penelitian dimulai dari identifikasi masalah, studi lapangan dan studi literatur. Setelah melakukan studi pendekatan, kemudian dilakukan penentuan batasan masalah, rumusan masalah serta tujuan penelitian.  Nilai smoothness index yang diperoleh yaitu 590,565 menunjukkan adanya ketidakseimbangan distribusi beban kerja antar stasiun. Meskipun tingkat efisiensi mendekati batas minimal yang diterima dalam industri, nilai tersebut masih menunjukkan potensi perbaikan.   Optimizing time in the balance of the production trajectory is very important for companies engaged in the automotive component industry such as PT YYY where the production process is made in bulk where the methods and elements of work are carried out repeatedly. Therefore, this trajectory balance must be well planned in order to be able to efficiently use labor and maximize company profits. To overcome this, good production control management is needed so that there is no time and idle operators that result in losses for the company. Line balancing is the balancing of assigning several work elements to the workstation to minimize the number of work stations and reduce the total idle time on all workstations at a certain output level. This study uses a quantitative approach using the Rank Positional Weight (RPW) method. The research flow starts from problem identification, field studies and literature studies. After conducting an approach study, then the determination of the problem limit, problem formulation and research objectives are carried out. The smoothness index value obtained was 590.565 indicating an imbalance in the distribution of workload between stations. Although the level of efficiency is close to the minimum limit accepted in the industry, it still shows potential for improvement

Abstract

Desa Bermi memiliki karakter sumber daya alam yang kuat, khususnya dibidang pertanian dan juga mempunyai potensi lingkungan yang memadai untuk dikembangkan. Dalam perkembangannya, potensi yang ada belum terpetakan dengan baik, sehingga belum ada skema perencanaan dalam pengembangan yang utuh. Desa Bermi belum memiliki arah tujuan untuk mengembangkan sarana dan prasarana dalam mengembangkan kawasan desa wisata yang memadai. Agar desa tersebut dapat berkembang dan terarah dalam pembangunan sarana dan prasarana, maka pihak Pemerintah Desa Bermi bekerjasama atau berkolaborasi dengan Tim PKM dari UNISNU Jepara untuk dibuatkan Perencanaan Masterplan dengan tujuan untuk mendapatkan arahan perencanaan desa dalam mengelola potensi sumber daya alam dan lingkungan menuju kemandirian desa. Konsep menuju desa mandiri, menjadi perioritas utama sebagai desa wisata yang akan berkembang. Produk dari kegiatan ini berupa arahan pendampingan dan konsep desain seperti pemanfaatan sumur gandeng sebagai area kawasan wisata, gerbang desa sebagai penanda kawasan wisata, lahan kandang ternak sebagai rumah biogas, perabot jalan untuk lampu penerangan jalan, penampungan air sebagai fasilitas sarana untuk dapat dimafaatkan oleh masyarakat sebagai sumber air bersih, poskamling sebagai tempat pos jaga untuk keamanan desa, branding desa dan packaging produk menjadi elemen desain yang dihasilkan.
