Abstract

COVID-19 cases in Indonesia are still quite high. However, community mobility continues to increase. If in a family there is a vulnerable and / or comorbid age group, it will certainly be increasingly threatened when a productive family member leaves the house but is negligent in implementing health protocols. People who live in market areas, of course, are in direct contact with high economic activities and of course also indicate high mobility. The purpose of this activity is to increase family awareness of COVID-19 transmission in vulnerable communities with comorbidities. The target audience for this community service activity is 31 people who live in the Jakabaring Main Market area of ​​Palembang City. This community service activity results in an increase in knowledge about the importance of health protocols that are carried out in a disciplined and correct manner. This health protocol is carried out in order to protect each other starting from the family and for the community, especially for vulnerable communities. Apart from home visiting activities, the construction of hand washing facilities will also be used by the surrounding community and at the same time become a symbol to remind that washing hands with soap in running water is not only an obligation of the health protocol for preventing COVID-19 but will also save many lives from various threats of other infectious diseases.

Abstract

Being a college student certainly does not escape the academic burden that is greater than when you were a student. Especially for students participating in KIP Kuliah, the workload and academic responsibilities as a student are certainly not easy. The ability to deal with pressure is different for each individual. To manage and overcome the pressure they face, every student must be able to be resilient to survive and overcome the disappointment they face. This research aims to determine how academic grit and self-efficacy relate to resilience in students participating in KIP Kuliah. This research uses a quantitative approach. Three measuring instruments are used, namely the academic grit scale, self-efficacy scale, and resilience scale. The sampling technique used was simple random sampling, where the sample size was 164 respondents. The data analysis technique used Pearson' product moment and obtained a significance value of 0.000 (Pearson' correlation = 0.452) for the correlation between the academic grit variable and the resilience variable, as well as a significance value of 0.000 (Pearson' correlation = 0.576) for the correlation between the self-efficacy variable with resilience variables. The academic grit variable and the self-efficacy variable together have a significant correlation with the resilience variable, where the significance value is 0.000 (R Square = 0.890). Thus, it can be concluded that the academic grit variable and the self-efficacy variable are both positively correlated with the resilience variable._________________________________________________________Menjadi mahasiswa tentu tidak luput dari beban akademik yang lebih besar dibandingkan dengan saat menjadi siswa. Terutama bagi mahasiswa peserta KIP Kuliah, beban tugas dan tanggung jawab akademik sebagai mahasiswa tentu bukan hal yang mudah. Kemampuan untuk menghadapi tekanan berbeda bagi masing-masing individu. Untuk mengelola dan mengatasi tekanan yang dihadapi, maka setiap mahasiswa harus bisa menjadi resilien untuk bertahan dan memperbaiki kekecewaan yang dihadapinya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana academic grit dan self-efficacy dalam kaitannya dengan resiliensi pada mahasiswa peserta KIP Kuliah. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif. Terdapat tiga alat ukur yang digunakan, yakni skala academic grit, skala self-efficacy dan skala resiliensi. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah simple random sampling dimana jumlah sampel yaitu 164 responden. Teknik analisis data menggunakan pearson’ product moment dan didapatkan nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,000 (pearson’ correlation = 0, 452) untuk korelasi antara variabel academic grit dengan variabel resiliensi, serta nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,000 (pearson’ correlation = 0,576) untuk korelasi antara variabel self-efficacy dengan variabel resiliensi. Variabel academic grit dan variabel self-efficacy secara bersama-sama memiliki korelasi yang signifikan dengan variabel resiliensi dimana nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,000 (R Square = 0,890). Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa variabel academic grit dan variabel self-efficacy sama-sama berkorelasi secara positif dengan variabel resiliensi.

Abstract

Rapid technological development has led to an increase in internet users, which in turn has spurred the emergence of numerous Social Networking Sites (SNS). High SNS usage is often associated with social anxiety. This study was conducted on Generation Z social media users who spend more than 4 hours a day using social media. The study included 250 subjects, employing an incidental sampling technique. Two psychological measurement tools were used in this study: The Social Anxiety Scale for Social Media Users (SAS-SMU) for social anxiety, and the Social Networking Addiction Scale (SNAS) for Social Networking Site addiction. Based on the research results, a p-value of 0.000 (<0.05) was obtained. These results indicate that social anxiety played a role in social networking site addiction by 46.5%, with the remainder influenced by other factors. This study recommends the importance of not using social media excessively, as it can have detrimental psychological effects on individuals. _____________________________________________________________Perkembangan teknologi yang semakin pesat menyebabkan meningkatnya pengguna internet, hal ini yang melatarbelakangi munculnya sejumlah Social Networking Sites (SNS). Tingginya penggunaan SNS seringkali dikaitkan dengan social anxiety. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada generasi Z pengguna media sosial, menggunakan media sosial lebih dari 4 jam sehari. Jumlah subyek yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 250 orang dengan menggunakan teknik pengambilan sampel, insidental sampling. Alat ukur psikologi yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini ada dua yaitu kecemasan sosial menggunakan Social Anxiety Scale for Social Media Users (SAS-SMU) dan Social Networking Site addiction (SNS) menggunakan Social Networking Addiction Scale (SNAS). Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diperoleh nilai nilai p sebesar 0,000 (<0,05), hasil ini menunjukkan bahwa ada peran kecemasan sosial dalam kecanduan situs jejaring sosial sebesar 46,5%, dan sisanya dipengaruhi faktor lain. Penelitian ini, merekomendasikan bahwa pentingnya untuk menggunakan media sosial secara tidak berlebihan karena dapat memberikan dampak yang buruk terhadap psikologis individu.
