Abstract

Media pembelajaran yang terbatas dan proses belajar yang masih terpusat pada guru menyebabkan peserta didik menjadi bosan dan jenuh. Mereka cenderung hanya mendengarkan dan mencatat materi tanpa aktif terlibat dalam proses pembelajaran. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mengembangkan modul pembelajaran berbasis PBL yang valid dan praktis untuk materi interaksi makhluk hidup dengan lingkungan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode R&D dengan model pengembangan 4D, tetapi hanya sampai pada tahap develop. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa modul pembelajaran berbasis PBL ini memiliki tingkat validitas rata-rata sebesar 91% sangat valid dan tingkat reliabilitas sangat baik sebesar 98%. Modul pembelajaran praktis digunakan oleh guru IPA kelas VII di SMPN 4 Satap Kusan Hilir dengan rata-rata praktikalitas sebesar 85% memenuhi kriteria sangat praktis, sedangkan peserta didik yang menggunakan modul menilai praktikalitasnya, dengan nilai rata-rata sebesar 89% memenuhi kriteria sangat praktis. Dengan demikian, modul pembelajaran berbasis PBL dapat dianggap valid dan praktis sebagai media pembelajaran dalam proses pembelajaran.

Abstract

Perkembangan pasar pakaian di Indonesia menunjukkan potensi besar bagi produk fashion berbasis kearifan lokal, khususnya dalam konteks pembelajaran ekonomi di tingkat Sekolah Menengah Atas (SMA). Program Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kapasitas guru Ekonomi di Kabupaten Barito Kuala melalui edukasi heritage fashionpreneurship yang mengintegrasikan nilai-nilai budaya dan warisan lokal dalam proses pembelajaran. Metode pelaksanaan meliputi ceramah interaktif dan praktikum yang fokus pada pengembangan konsep, desain, serta produksi busana daerah sederhana yang mencerminkan warisan budaya. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan dalam aspek pengetahuan, pemahaman, keyakinan, dan kesiapan peserta dalam menerapkan materi, dengan capaian rata-rata di atas 75%. Kegiatan ini tidak hanya memberikan bekal teori dan keterampilan praktis bagi guru, tetapi juga mendorong penerapan pembelajaran ekonomi yang lebih kontekstual, kreatif, dan inovatif, sekaligus mendukung pelestarian budaya lokal melalui heritage fashionpreneurship. Dengan demikian, program ini berkontribusi dalam membentuk guru yang mampu mengembangkan potensi kewirausahaan peserta didik berbasis warisan budaya lokal secara berkelanjutan.

Abstract

Pedagogical Content Knowledge (PCK) is a wedge between Content Knowledge and Pedagogical Knowledge, namely knowledge about the material being taught and how to teach it. The teacher's ability to understand the material and manage learning greatly determines the improvement of the quality of learning in the classroom in realizing meaningful learning for students. This study aims to describe the Pedagogical Content Knowledge (PCK) for science teachers at the Global Islamic Boarding School Middle School (GIBS) regarding the classification of living things. This type of research is descriptive qualitative. Data collection techniques using observation sheets, interviews and documentation. The results of the study show that teachers can balance between two competencies, namely knowledge of material classification of living things and how to teach it using 7 aspects of Pedagogical Content Knowledge (PCK), namely Content Knowledge, Knowledge of Specific Context, Knowledge of Learners and Learning, Pedagogical Knowledge, Curriculum Knowledge, Knowledge of General Education Context, Assessment Procedures, Evaluation of Outcomes – Educational Ends, Goals, Purposes, and Values.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan e-Modul interaktif berbasis PhET Simulation pada materi pemantulan cahaya untuk peserta didik kelas VIII SMP. Latar belakang penelitian ini adalah kebutuhan akan media pembelajaran digital yang interaktif untuk memfasilitasi pemahaman konsep-konsep abstrak dalam IPA, khususnya pada topik optik. Penelitian menggunakan metode Research and Development (R&D). Produk yang dikembangkan divalidasi oleh ahli materi dan media, serta diuji kepraktisan dan keefektifannya melalui implementasi pada 28 peserta didik kelas VIII SMP Negeri 31 Banjarmasin. Instrumen yang digunakan meliputi lembar validasi, angket respon peserta didik, serta soal pretest & post-test. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa e-Modul sontoto berbasis PhET Simulation tergolong sangat valid dengan rata-rata persentase 91,66%, sangat praktis dengan skor kepraktisan 89,78%, dan efektif dengan nilai rata-rata N-gain sebesar 0,73 yang termasuk dalam kategori tinggi. Dengan demikian, e-Modul ini dinyatakan layak digunakan dalam pembelajaran IPA sebagai media yang mampu meningkatkan pemahaman konsep peserta didik secara interaktif dan menarik. Implikasi dari penelitian ini adalah bahwa e-Modul berbasis simulasi interaktif dapat menjadi solusi alternatif dalam pembelajaran IPA yang menuntut visualisasi dan eksplorasi konsep, serta berpotensi meningkatkan keterlibatan dan pemahaman peserta didik secara lebih mendalam. Selain itu, produk ini dapat mendukung implementasi Kurikulum Merdeka yang mendorong pembelajaran berbasis teknologi dan kemandirian belajar.Kata kunci: e-Modul, IPA SMP, pemantulan cahaya, pengembangan media, PhET Simulation. This study aims to develop an interactive science e-Modul e based on PhET Simulation for the topic of light reflection for eighth-grade junior high school students. The background of this research is the need for interactive digital learning media to facilitate students' understanding of abstract scientific concepts, particularly in optics. The research employed the Research and Development (R&D) method using the ADDIE Development model, which consists of five stages: Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. The developed product was validated by subject matter experts and media experts, and its practicality and effectiveness were tested through Implementation involving 28 eighth-grade students at SMP Negeri 31 Banjarmasin. The instruments used included validation sheets, student response questionnaires, and pretest and Post-test items. The results showed that the PhET-based e-Modul e was classified as highly valid with an average percentage of 91.66%, highly practical with a practicality score of 89.78%, and effective with an average N-gain score of 0.73, which falls into the high category. Therefore, the e-Modul e is considered feasible for use in science learning as a medium that can improve students' conceptual understanding in an interactive and engaging way. The implication of this research is that interactive Simulation-based e-Modul es can serve as an alternative solution for science learning that requires visualization and conceptual exploration. This media has the potential to increase student engagement and conceptual understanding, while also supporting the Implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum, which emphasizes the use of technology and student autonomy in learning.Keywords: e-Modul, junior high school science. light reflection, media Development, PhET Simulation.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to test or analyze the effect of the implementation of ecopreneurship on Students' ability to be innovative. This research uses a quantitative approach with the type of quasi-experiment design One group pretest-posttest. The research was conducted in the Entrepreneurship course for students of the Science Education Study Program in the academic year 2024/2025 odd semester. The sample selection technique used was Purposive sampling, which is part of non-probability sampling with a research sample of 33 students who took Entrepreneurship courses. To determine the effect of the ecopreneurship-based learning on Students' ability to innovate, the Paired Sample T-Test test was used with the help of the SPSS program. Based on the calculation of the Paired Sample T-Test, the Sig value is 0.000 < 0.05, which means that there is a significant effect of the implementation of ecopreneurship on Students' capacity for innovation. The implications of this research support sustainable innovation and can be used in other courses that require the same thing as this research. The results showed that the effect of applying the Ecopreneurship concept was able to encourage students' ability to innovate in making innovative environmentally friendly products, namely by developing problem-solving skills, creating innovative ideas, designing and producing product innovations and preparing students to become entrepreneurs who have the ability to innovate.

Abstract

This research examines the creation of a web-based learning medium using Google Sites to teach the classification of living organisms, with the goal of enhancing the academic performance of seventh-grade junior high school students. The study aims to evaluate the effectiveness, practicality, and validity of the learning media that has been developed. The ADDIE development model consisting of Analysis, Development, Design, Implementation, and Evaluation served as the framework for this research. The media trial involved 22 students from class VII A at SMPN 1 Alalak. Data were collected through media student response questionnaires, validation forms, and assessments of learning outcomes administered as post-tests and pre-tests. The findings indicate that the developed media received a validity score of 90.6%, a practicality score of 91.4%, and an N-Gain of 0.80, categorized as high. These results further contribute to the advancement of digital learning resources, particularly web-based tools that can function as effective alternative instructional media. Google Sites is shown to support science learning through visual elements, videos, and interactive components such as quizzes, encouraging student engagement and potentially improving achievement. Based on these outcomes, The learning media developed using Google Sites for the material on classifying living organisms has been confirmed to be effective, practical, and valid in enhancing students’ learning outcomes in junior high school science classes.

Abstract

Critical reasoning and communication are key dimensions of the deep learning graduate profile that should be fostered in science education; however, these skills have not yet been optimally developed. This study aimed to produce a valid, practical, and effective science literacy-based electronic student worksheet (e-LKM) using Liveworksheets to enhance critical reasoning and communication skills regarding the topic of temperature and heat. A Research and Development (R&D) approach utilizing the ADDIE model was employed. The study subjects consisted of 32 students from class VII G at SMP Negeri 3 Banjarmasin. Data collection involved validation sheets, student response questionnaires, pre-test and post-test questions on critical reasoning, and communication skill observation sheets. The results indicated that the e-LKM achieved a validity score of 0.88, a practicality score of 90.05%, and an effectiveness score (based on n-gain) of 0,77, placing it in the high category. Consequently, the e-LKM is deemed valid, practical, and effective for use in science instruction.

Abstract

Scientific literacy is an essential competency through which students are able to comprehend scientific concepts and apply them in everyday life. This study aimed to investigate how Google Sites learning media influences students' scientific literacy in the topic of heat and temperature. Quasi-experimental approach with a Nonequivalent Control Group Design was employed in this study. Participants included of 68 seven-grade students from SMP Negeri 31 Banjarmasin and were assigned to experimental group and a control group. Scientific literacy tests and student response questionnaires were used to colled the data, which were analyzed using descriptive statistics, the N-Gain analysis, prerequisite testing, and the Independent Samples t-test. The finding showed that students who learned through Google Sites significantly higher scientific literacy compared with conventional learning methods. Additionally, studentsexpressed very positive responses toward the implementation of the learning media. Therefore, Google Sites learning mediais effective inm improving students' scientific literacy in science learning.

Abstract

Budidaya jamur tiram (Pleurotus ostreatus) yang dikembangkan oleh Kelompok Tani Agro Jamur Tukul Bersama masih menghadapi berbagai kendala utama, terutama serangan hama dan penyakit yang berdampak pada penurunan produktivitas dan kualitas hasil panen. Penggunaan pestisida kimia belum menjadi pilihan ideal karena berisiko terhadap keamanan pangan, kesehatan lingkungan, serta keberlanjutan usaha. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan petani jamur dalam pemanfaatan agensia hayati Beauveria bassiana sebagai alternatif pengendalian hama dan penyakit yang ramah lingkungan. Kegiatan pengabdian ini merupakan program Program Dosen Wajib Mengabdi di Universitas Lambung Mangkurat (ULM), Metode pelaksanaan meliputi penyuluhan, pelatihan teknis pembuatan dan aplikasi agensia hayati B. bassiana pada budidaya jamur tiram. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pemahaman mitra mengenai konsep pengendalian hayati serta kemampuan dalam mengaplikasikan B. bassiana secara tepat. Mitra memberikan respons yang sangat positif terhadap inovasi ini karena mampu menekan intensitas serangan hama, mengurangi ketergantungan pada bahan kimia, serta mendukung praktik budidaya jamur tiram yang lebih sehat dan berkelanjutan. Kegiatan ini diharapkan menjadi model pengendalian hama terpadu yang dapat direplikasi pada kelompok budidaya jamur lainnya.

Abstract

Tomato (Solanum lycopersicum L.) productivity is influenced by the quality of the growing medium. Meranti wood biochar has the potential to improve soil properties and support plant growth. This study aimed to analyze the effect of different concentrations of meranti wood biochar on tomato biomass based on plant dry weight and to determine the most effective concentration. The study employed a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with one factor consisting of five treatments:  (100% soil),  (5% biochar + 95% soil),  (10% biochar + 90% soil),  (15% biochar + 85% soil), and  (20% biochar + 80% soil), with five replications for each treatment. Data were analyzed using normality and homogeneity tests, followed by one-way ANOVA and Duncan's Multiple Range Test (DMRT) at a 5% significance level. The results showed that meranti wood biochar significantly affected tomato biomass (p = 0.003). The  treatment produced the highest dry weight (79.0 g), indicating that the application of 10% meranti wood biochar was the most effective concentration for increasing tomato biomass.
