Abstract

Agro tourism is the community-based tourism activities that utilize the agricultural business as a tourist attraction that has many positive impacts which can improve the economy of society, especially in the form of society's income, open employment opportunities and business opportunities (entrepreneurship). This research aim was to develop the concept of agro tourism in the largest coffee producing area in Malang Regency that is in Amstirdam (Ampelgading, Sumbermanjing Wetan, Tirtoyudo, and Dampit). This study used a qualitative approach by observing the four areas to see the potential of each region. SWOT technique was used to analyze data and the results showed that Dampit is one area that has more potential attractions than other regions. One area in Dampit that has the potential to be developed into agro tourism is Kampung Kopi Amadanom. The results of this research indicated that the effort for developing Kampung Kopi Amadanom was still not maximal due to the lack of local government support and also lack of quality supporting resources. This research suggested by using development model and applying appropriate strategy, it could provide and increase benefits not only for Kampung Kopi Amadanom but also for Malang generally. Abstract

The question posed in this research is "Do political institutions participate in producing products and carry out various influences on innovation policies?" This study contributes to understanding the role of politics in innovation policies in local government. This research was conducted in two areas, namely Malang City and Malang Regency. The method used is available data analysis (secondary data). There are 4 focus studies that are examined. There are two analyzes used in this study, namely: First, the data obtained secondary to descriptive analysis was carried out with Excel, then further analyzed using SmartPLS for inference analysis. The findings of this study reveal that the political environment has a negative relationship with both innovation achievements and local government performance. However, in elaboration on policies, it turns out that political colonization occurs in policy products. This research also reveals why innovative areas are never sustainable in terms of their innovation achievements. Although this research can reveal policy colonization by the political environment, the limitations of the scope of the research area, and the scale used to limit this research. For this reason, it is advisable for a more detailed study by expanding and comparing the regions, both those interpreted in the IGA and TOP 99, and those that are not.

Education has a crucial role in determining the direction of a nation's development. Indonesia's Gross Enrollment Rate (APK) data shows a positive trend, but challenges in the quality of education remain, especially in terms of literacy, numeracy and understanding of science based on PISA scores. The inequality of educational attainment between regions indicates the need to increase access and quality of education evenly throughout Indonesia. Inadequate curriculum in developing basic competencies is one of the main causes of suboptimal achievements. Apart from that, Indonesia also faces the challenge of low public IQ levels, showing the importance of improving the education system to increase the nation's overall competitiveness. The process of preparing the vision, mission and strategic objectives by the Ministry of Education and Culture and Brawijaya University adopts an approach that is in accordance with theory, but the main challenge lies in implementing the strategic plan. Brawijaya University demonstrated excellence in overcoming implementation barriers, which enabled them to achieve strategic goals more effectively. In this context, alignment between vision, mission and goals is key in designing and implementing sustainable strategic
