Abstract

This study aims to analyze the impact of parental guidance on the personalityofstudent at SDN Balandongan, Tasikmalaya Regency. The issue raised is thedependence of children on their parents during the learning process, which canaffect their personality develovment. The methodology used is a desciptivequalitative approach, with data collection through observasion, interviews, anddocumentation. The research subjects consist of one second-grade student, theirparents, and the class teacher. The results indicate the intensive parentalguidance significantly influences the students personalities. Children who arealways accompanied then to be less confident, shy, and dependent one theirparentes. In contrast, students who do not receive intensive guidance show amore independent, cheerful personality and are active in interacting with theirpeers and teachers. Furthermore, appropriate guidance can enhance children’sindependence and discipline, while inadequate guidance petterns can hinder theirsocial and emotional development. This research emphasizes the importance ofparental roles in suppoting the development of student personalities, as well as theneed for synergy between parents and school to create a conducive learningenvironment.

Abstract

Students' interest in learning Indonesian in the fifth grade of SDN 1 Nusawangi was relatively low, as seen from their lack of enthusiasm during lessons, such as not paying attention to the teacher, talking to peers, and reluctance to ask questions. This study aimed to increase students' learning interest by using the Quizizz learning media in the material on self-expression through hobbies. The study employed Classroom Action Research (CAR) following the Kemmis and McTaggart model, conducted in two cycles consisting of planning, action, observation, and reflection. The subjects were 30 fifth-grade students of SDN 1 Nusawangi. Data were collected through observation, documentation, and learning evaluation tests. The results indicated that the use of Quizizz successfully enhanced students' learning interest, shown through improvements in four indicators: enjoyment, curiosity, attention, and engagement. The percentage of learning mastery increased from 60% in the pre-cycle to 76.6% in cycle I and reached 90% in cycle II. It is concluded that Quizizz is an effective, fun, and interactive learning tool that can significantly improve students' interest in learning Indonesian.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan (1) kemampuan guru mata pelajaran Bahasa Indonesia dalam membuat soal tes berbasis Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) tingkat SMP se-Kecamatan Karangnunggal Kabupaten Tasikmalaya dan (2) menganalisis kesesuaian soal tes yang dibuat oleh guru mata pelajaran Bahasa Indonesia ditinjau dari kriteria soal Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS). Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di tiga Sekolah Menengah Pertama (SMP) yang berada di Kecamatan Karangnunggal Kabupaten Tasikmalaya dengan menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif.Sumber data dalam penelitian ini adalah guru mata pelajaran Bahasa Indonesia yang secara keseluruhan berjumlah 7 orang. Sumber data dari SMP N 1 Karangnunggal sebanayak 2 orang, dari SMP Negeri 3 Karangnunggal sebanyak 2 orang dan dari SMP IT Karangnunggal sebanyak 3 orang. Data yang diperoleh berupa soal esai dan pilihan ganda yang dibuat oleh setiap responden.Pemerolehan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan instrumen tes.Data tersebut dikaji dengan teknik analisis deskriptif. Hasil pengkajian pertama diperoleh kemampuan guru mata pelajaran Bahasa Indonesia dalam membuat soal tes berbasis HOTS dalam bentuk esai maupun pilihan ganda masih rendah. Hal tersebut terbukti dari jumlah keseluruhan soal yang masih berada pada ranah ingatan (C1).Hasil pengkajian yang kedua diperoleh bahwa bentuk soal pilihan ganda ataupun esai belum memenuhi kriteria soal HOTS yang baik.Hal itu terbukti dari masih banyaknnya soal pilihan ganda ataupun esai yang belum menggunakan stimulus yang menarik dan kontekstual, mengukur kemampuan kognitif level analisis, evaluasi, maupun mencipta serta belum mengandung jawaban yang tersirat.

Abstract

This study aims to improve students' writing skills through the implementation of the Outdoor Learning model in Indonesian language learning. The research method used is classroom action research (CAR), which consists of planning, action, observation, and reflection in each cycle. The subjects of this study were 25 students, consisting of 15 female and 10 male students. Based on the research results, students had difficulty writing poetry due to their limited writing skills. They struggled to find ideas to turn into poems. The results of this study indicate that students' writing skills improved through the use of the Outdoor Learning model. In the first cycle, the average score was 63.04%, with 15 students reaching the minimum mastery criteria and 10 students not yet meeting it, amounting to 40% and categorized as high. In the second cycle, the average score increased to 71.33%, with 18 students reaching mastery and 7 students not yet meeting it, amounting to 28%, and categorized as very high.   Keywords: Writing Skills, Outdoor Learning Method, Indonesian Language Learning

Abstract

Abstrak Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia di Sekolah Dasar yang mengintegrasikan kearifan lokal serta nilai-nilai psikososial dalam pembelajarannya. Tujuan penelitian adalah menganalisis kondisi pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia di sekolah dasar, mengidentifikasi potensi integrasi kearifan lokal dan nilai psikososial, serta mengembangkan model bahan ajar berbasis kearifan lokal yang relevan dengan karakteristik peserta didik pada era Kurikulum Nasional. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Research and Development (R&D) dengan model 4D yang meliputi tahap Define, Design, Develop, dan Disseminate. Subjek penelitian adalah guru dan siswa kelas IV–V di lima sekolah dasar di Kabupaten dan Kota Tasikmalaya. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara, observasi, angket, dan tes, kemudian dianalisis secara kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia di sekolah dasar masih dominan berpusat pada teks dan belum optimal menanamkan nilai-nilai psikososial serta budaya lokal. Bahan ajar hasil pengembangan yang mengintegrasikan nilai empati, tanggung jawab, dan gotong royong dengan konten budaya lokal terbukti meningkatkan keterlibatan emosional siswa dan efektivitas pembelajaran. Rata-rata hasil uji coba menunjukkan peningkatan 24% pada aspek keterampilan literasi dan 31% pada indikator nilai-nilai psikososial siswa. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan penerapan bahan ajar kontekstual berbasis kearifan lokal secara lebih luas untuk mendukung profil pelajar Pancasila di sekolah dasar.
