Abstract

Background: Improving the quality of human life should commence right from infancy. One pivotal factor contributing to this enhancement is breastfeeding (or breast milk). Challenges concerning the limited coverage of exclusive breastfeeding persist due to insufficient empowerment and suboptimal education activities for breastfeeding counselors, as well as ineffective dissemination, advocacy, and related breastfeeding campaigns. Establishing breastfeeding support groups and cadre is imperative to support mothers in successfully breastfeeding. Objective: The research aimed to assess the impact of Promotion And Breastfeeding Counseling training on cadre’s skills.Methods: This study employed a quasi-experimental design with one group pretest-posttest, utilizing purposive sampling technique. The total sample size consisted of 53 respondents. Test data were analyzed using wilcoxon.Results: The result of the study was known that there was an effect of Promotion And Breastfeeding Counseling training on skills training cadres (0.000 p <0.05). Conclusion: Promotion And Breastfeeding Counseling training effect on the level of skills of cadres.

Abstract

Background: Early childhood is when a child is 0–8 years old. The golden age is the age when children experience fast and rapid growth and development. If there is a delay in a step of a child's development, it will affect other developments.. One of the games that can stimulate children's development is montage. Objective: The purpose of this study is to determine the effectiveness of the development of preschool children (5–6 years old) in Pembina Jebres Public Kindergarten.Methods: This research method uses quantitative methods with pre-experimental methods using a one-group pre- and post-test design. Results: The results of this study show that montage play therapy is effective on the development of preschool children (5–6 years old) in Pembina Jebres Public Kindergarten, with proven statistical tests showing a p value <0.000.Conclusion: Parents can do montage therapy to stimulate child development. Educational institutions develop media to stimulate child development with montage techniques

Abstract

Anak usia prasekolah merupakan tahap anak mulai mengamati perilaku dan akan meniru perilaku tersebut. Sikap egosentris anak akan memicu anak untuk fokus pada sudut pandang anak itu sendiri dan mengabaikan orang lain. Masalah muncul ketika anak berinteraksi dengan anak lain yang memiliki sikap egosentris yang muncul bersamaan. Jika anak tidak dapat mengendalikan emosi tersebut, maka akan muncul pembetukan perilaku agresif seperti berteriak, menyakiti, merusak barang, memukul dan lain sebagainya. Salah satu faktor yang memicu adalah penggunaan gadget. Efek dari penggunaan gadget adalah kecanduan gadget. Tindakan yang dapat meminimalisir penggunaan gadget adalah dengan memberikan aktivitas lain . Program GAMES merupakan program yang terdiri dari 2 kegiatan yaitu pendidikan kesehatan kepada orangtua tentang manajemen gadget dan program melatih keterampilan ibu dalam membuat kreasi bermain/beraktivitas anak. Dengan program Games diharapkan anak menggunakan gadget sesuai batasan waktu yang direkomendasikan dan anak dapat terpenuhi kebutuhan lainnya. Tujuan pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah mencegah terjadinya kegawatan perilaku agresif pada anak usia 3-5 tahun melalui program GAMES di TK-KB Primagama, Manahan. Pengabdian masyarakat ini menggunakan metode yaitu ceramah. Pelaksanaan kegiatan dilakukan di TK-KB Primagama Manahan pada hari Sabtu, 10 Juli 2021. Dari hasil pelaksanaan kegiatan masyarakat ini, diikuti sebanyak 18 orangtua siswa. Respon dari kegiatan ini sangat bagus, karena orangtua dapat mengetahui tentang kebutuhan anak dan bagaimana mencukupinya serta bagaimana menerapkan manajemen gadget pada anak usia 3-5 tahun. Hal ini dapat diketahui dari hasil feedback menunjukkan jadwal kegiatan anak menjadi lebih tertata dan waktu anak dalam mengakses gadget lebih dibatasi oleh orangtua.

Abstract

Background: The golden age stage of children is at the age of 5 years. One of the games that can stimulate language skill’s children's development is playing magic box. Playing with this magic box play therapy can stimulate other aspects of development.Objective: The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of magic box games on the language development of children aged 4-5 years at KB-TK Taruna Prima.Methods: This research method uses quantitative methods with pre-experiment with one group pre and post test design. Total population 53 students with total sampling. Play activities are carried out twice a week fo1 1 week.Results: The result of this study is that magic box play therapy is effective on the language development of children aged 4-5 years at KB-TK Taruna Prima, as evidenced by statistical tests showing p value <0.000.Conclusion: Teacher can do magic box play therapy to stimulate child development. Educational institutions develop media to stimulate child development with magic box play therapy.
