Achieving life satisfaction is the hope of every person, including lecturers. Based on preliminary study, problem of life satisfaction of PTKK lecturers is a real phenomenon but has never been studied scientifically so far. This study aims to examine the life satisfaction model of PTKK lecturers in terms of religiosity, self-efficacy, social support, and perceived organizational support with the meaning of work as a mediator variable. The research method used in this research is quantitative correlational with participants are 252 lecturers from 41 Christian theological seminaries in East Java. This study uses six instruments to measure each variable and the data analyzed using the SEM-PLS technique. Based on the R2 value for the endogenous variables, it was found that meaning of work got significant positive effect of 36.8% from the independent variables. While the R2 value for the life satisfaction variable is 0.259, which means that life satisfaction can be explained by variance in the independent variables of 25.9%. The results of the research hypothesis indicate that religiosity and self-efficacy have an indirect effect on life satisfaction with the meaning of work as a full mediator, while social support does not affect the meaning of work and life satisfaction. This study also proves that perceived organizational support has a direct and indirect effect on life satisfaction with the meaning of work as a partial mediator. This research result is expected to enhance efforts to increase life satisfaction of lecturers from Christian theological seminaries in East Java.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara relasi finansial dan resolusi konflik secara bersama-sama dan parsial dengan kepuasan pernikahan pada pasangan suami atau istri dengan usia pernikahan sepuluh tahun ke bawah di Tarakan. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan desain korelasional. Subyek penelitian ini adalah 110 pegawai di beberapa pertokoan besar dengan usia pernikahan 10 tahun ke bawah di kota Tarakan. Subyek penelitian ini memiliki rata-rata penghasilan perbulan dibawah lima juta rupiah. Pengambilan data menggunakan skala relasi finansial, resolusi konflik, dan kepuasan pernikahan. Penelitian ini menggunakan skala relasi finansial yang dikembangkan oleh Kurniawan dan Setiawan (2016). Skala resolusi konflik yang oleh PREPARE/ENRICH Customized Version (Olson dan Larson, 2008). Skala kepuasan pernikahan diukur menggunakan skala adaptasi Kansas Marital Satifaction Scale (Grable & Britt, 2006). Analisis data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan uji korelasi ganda dan parsial. Hasil uji korelasi ganda menunjukkan adanya hubungan positif terhadap relasi finansial dan resolusi konflik secara bersama- sama dengan kepuasan pernikahan (R = 0.870; p < 0.05). Hasil uji korelasi parsial menunjukkan adan ya hubungan antara relasi finansial dan kepuasan pernikahan dengan mengendalikan resolusi konflik (r = 0.732; p < 0.05). Hasil uji korelasi parsial menunjukkan tidak adanya hubungan antara resolusi konflik dan kepuasan pernikahan dengan mengendalikan relasi finansial (r = 0.156; p > 0.05).

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara waktu luang bersama dan resolusi konflik dengan kepuasan pernikahan pada suami atau istri dual earner. Sampel dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 85 suami atau istri dual earner di perusahaan X Surabaya. Pengambilan data menggunakan skala waktu luang bersama, resolusi konflik dan kepuasan pernikahan. Teknik analisis data dalam pengujian hipotesis menggunakan uji korelasi ganda dan korelasi parsial. Hasil uji korelasi ganda menunjukkan adanya hubungan terhadap waktu luang bersama dan resolusi konflik secara bersama-sama dengan kepuasan pernikahan (R = 0,637; p < 0,05). Hasil uji korelasi parsial menunjukkan adanya hubungan positif waktu luang bersama dan kepuasan pernikahan dengan mengendalikan resolusi konflik (r = 0,476; p < 0,05). Hasil uji korelasi parsial menunjukkan tidak adanya hubungan antara resolusi konflik dengan kepuasan pernikahan dengan mengendalikan waktu luang bersama (r = 0.129; p > 0.05).

One of the signs of a successful marriage is marital satisfaction of both husbands and wives. However, in the current era, addressing the role of wives who work outside the house hold has been a challenge for some married couples. The aim of this study is to examine the influences of communication, conflict resolution, sexual intimacy, and financial relations on the marital satisfaction of working and non-working wives. The study was conducted on a total of 144 subjects consisting of 90 full-time working wives and 54 non-working wives. Data collection was conducted through questionnaires. Results of linear regression analysis showed a difference in the factors affecting marital satisfaction in working and non-working wives. Marital satisfaction in working wives was influenced by communication, sexual intimacy, and financial relations; while marital satisfaction in non-working wives was influenced by communication and financial relations.

This study aims to determine the role of communication and marital acceptance in marital adjustment for dual earners married under 10 years. A total of 93 respondents are involved in this study. The criteria for selecting respondents are married employees of company X in Surabaya; married under 10 years; have a working spouse. A quantitative research method with a correlational design is used. Communication, marital acceptance, and marital adjustment scales are also used. Multiple linear regression analysis shows that communication and marital acceptance have a significant role in marital adjustment. The contribution of communication and marital acceptance to marital adjustment is 54% (p < 0.05, R2 = 0.540). Thus, communication and marital acceptance predict marital adjustment. This research is expected to be useful for married couples, counselors, and prospective married couples.

Work-family interface can be viewed from two directions, work-to-family and family-to-work. The imbalance in carrying out two roles in the area of work and family will trigger conflict, which is known as work-to-family conflict and family-to-work conflict. The aim of this study was to compare work and family conflicts in working husbands and wives. The participants were 30 married couples (60 persons) who have one child and work as employees, managers and entrepreneurs. Work-family conflict was measured using a questionnaire that measures the level of conflict in two directions, work-to-family conflict and family-to-work conflict. The result shows that there is no difference in work-to-family conflict between husbands and wives. However, there is difference between work-to-family conflict and family-to-work conflict with the average of work-to-family conflict is higher than family-to-work conflict for both husbands and wives. The findings indicate that gender difference does not affect the ways in balancing between work and family roles among both husbands and wives.Keywords: Work-family conflict, family-work conflict, dual career coupleAbstrak: Work-Family Interface dapat ditinjau dari dua arah yaitu work-to-family dan family-to-work. Ketidakseimbangan dalam menjalankan dua peran di area pekerjaan dan keluarga akan memicu konflik yang disebut sebagai work-to-family conflict dan family-to-work conflict. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membandingkan konflik pekerjaan dan keluarga pada pasangan suami dan istri yang keduanya bekerja. Subjek penelitian adalah 30 pasangan suami istri (60 orang), minimal telah memiliki satu anak dan bekerja sebagai karyawan, manager maupun wiraswasta. Work-family conflict diukur dengan menggunakan angket tertutup yang mengukur level konflik dari dua arah yaitu work-to-family conflict dan family-to-work conflict. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tidak terdapat perbedaan work-family conflict antara kelompok suami dan kelompok istri. Namun, terdapat perbedaan antara work-to-family conflict dan family-to-work conflict dengan nilai rata-rata work-to-family conflict lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan family-to-work conflict baik pada kelompok suami maupun istri. Penelitian ini menunjukkan tidak ada perbedaan gender dalam cara menyeimbangkan peran dalam pekerjaan dan rumah tangga.

The aim of this study was to examine the effect of conflict resolution and spiritual intimacy on marital satisfaction among interracial married couples. Subjects in this study were 51 interracial married couples in one of the church synods in Indonesia. Data were collected using conflict resolution, spiritual intimacy and marital satisfaction scales. Data analysis techniques used in this study were multiple and partial regression analysis. The result showed that there is an effect of conflict resolution and spiritual intimacy to marital satisfaction simultaneously. On the other hand, both conflict resolution and spiritual intimacy has their own roles towards marital satisfaction among interracial married couples. Nevertheless, compared with conflict resolution, spiritual intimacy has a bigger impact towards marriage satisfaction.Keywords: Conflict resolution, marital satisfaction, spiritual intimacyAbstrak: Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menguji pengaruh resolusi konflik dan intimasi spiritual terhadap kepuasan pernikahan pada pasangan suami istri beda etnis. Subjek penelitian adalah 51 pasangan suami istri beda etnis pada salah satu sinode gereja di Indonesia. Penelitian ini menggunakan skala resolusi konflik, skala intimasi spiritual dan skala kepuasan pernikahan. Teknik analisis data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan uji regresi berganda. Analisis regresi linier berganda menunjukkan adanya pengaruh yang signifikan dari resolusi konflik dan intimasi spiritual terhadap kepuasan pernikahan secara simultan. Selain itu, baik resolusi konflik ataupun intimasi spiritual masing-masing memiliki peran terhadap kepuasan pernikahan pada pasangan Kristiani beda etnis. Meski demikian, dibandingkan dengan resolusi konflik, intimasi spiritual memberikan pengaruh yang lebih besar terhadap kepuasan pernikahan.

This study aimed to investigate the influence of social support from family, supervisor, and co-workers toward the resilient self-efficacy of SEN teachers in Surabaya. This study involved 94 SEN teachers from Special Educational Needs school in Surabaya. The study used social support measures and resilient self-efficacy scale. Multiple regression analysis showed that social support from family, supervisor, and co-workers significantly influenced SEN teachers’ resilient self-efficacy (F = 28,052; p<0,05). These supports gave an effective contribution to resilient self-efficacy as much as 48,3% (R²=0,483). Hypothesis testing also showed that each source of support significantly influenced SEN teachers’ resilient self-efficacy. Therefore, social support from family, supervisors, and co-workers influenced the resilient self-efficacy of SEN teachers, whether they are given simultaneously or separately.

The standard and complexity of nurse job tend to create heavy burden for nurses in performing nursing duties. The current study aimed to examine the influence of social support from supervisors and co-workers towards the resilient self-efficacy of psychiatric hospital nurses. The participants were 70 psychiatric hospital nurses in Surabaya. The study used Social Support Scale and Resilient Self-efficacy Scale. Multiple linear regression analysis showed that supervisor and co-worker support simultaneously had a significant influence on psychiatric hospital nurses’ resilient self-efficacy (F = 32.837; p<0.05) with contribution of 35% (R2 = 0.3528). Hypothesis testing showed that when given separately, supervisor social support did not influence psychiatric hospital nurses’ resilient self-efficacy (r=0.089; p > 0.05). However, co-worker social support significantly influenced psychiatric hospital nurses’ resilient self-efficacy even when given separately (r=0.558; p < 0.05). This study concluded that compared with supervisor social support, co-worker social support significantly influenced psychiatric hospital nurses’ resilient self-efficacy.

Masa awal menikah sangat identik dengan permasalahan adaptasi yang perlu dihadapi oleh pasangan. Salah satu faktor yang juga berkontribusi pada pernikahan di Indonesia adalah adanya kultur kolektivistik. Kepuasan pernikahan menjadi tolak ukur dalam menentukan seberapa berhasilnya pasangan melakukan adaptasi dalam hubungan mereka. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh dari resolusi konflik dan ekspresivitas emosi terhadap kepuasan pernikahan pada pasangan masa awal menikah. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif desain korelasional dengan partisipan berjumlah 102 orang dengan usia pernikahan 3-5 tahun sebagai subjek penelitian. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa resolusi konflik memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap kepuasan pernikahan (p= 0.018; F= 5.672) dengan kontribusi sebesar 5.4% (R2= 0.054), sedangkan variabel ekspresivitas emosi tidak memiliki pengaruh terhadap kepuasan pernikahan pada masa awal menikah (p> 0.05).
