Abstract

Abstract. Indonesia is a country that is rich in diversity in terms of culture, race, ethnicity, language, customs and religion. On the one hand, this condition could be a source of cultural wealth. On the other hand, this has the potential to lead to social conflict, particularly religious issues that could threaten Indonesia's integrity if it is not realized and cannot be managed properly. Therefore, good tolerance is needed to address these differences so that life harmony can be maintained. One of the manuscripts that contains tolerance is the Carub Kandha Carang Satus manuscript. This manuscript originally came from Cirebon in 1845. This manuscript uses the Pegon script (Javanese Arabic) and Cirebon Javanese language. Since this text has found more than one, it uses the plural method, namely the basis method. This research can inspire to revive tolerance, respect, and appreciate differences.

Abstract

This research explores the seismic interpretations of the Tetamba Cirebon manuscript, providing a comprehensive analysis of gender dynamics, spirituality, and minority perspectives in the context of seismic events. The manuscript’s emergence not only reveals seismic interpretations but also indicates a cultural shift towards inclusivity within the spiritual domain.
