Abstract

This study examines the influence of financial literacy, financial attitude, and income on the personal financial management behavior of millennials in Lhokseumawe City. As a productive demographic, millennials face significant economic pressures, making effective financial management crucial. This study aims to determine the influence of financial literacy, financial attitude, and income on personal financial management behavior of the millennial generation in Lhokseumawe City. The population in this study consisted of all millennial generations in Lhokseumawe City aged between 29 and 44 years, totaling 47,732 people. The approach used in this study was quantitative, employing a survey method by distributing questionnaires to 100 respondents selected through simple random sampling techniques. Data analysis was carried out using multiple linear regression to test the partial and simultaneous effects of the independent variables on the dependent variable. The results of the study indicate that, partially, financial attitude has a significant effect on personal financial management behavior, while financial literacy and income do not have a significant partial effect. However, simultaneously, the three variables have a significant effect on the personal financial management behavior of the millennial generation in Lhokseumawe City. This study implies that increasing positive financial attitudes plays an important role in forming healthy financial behavior. In addition, although financial literacy and income do not have a direct effect, it remains necessary to increase financial awareness and understanding in the younger generation.

Abstract

Program Kemitraan Masyarakat (PKM) ini dilaksanakan bersama BUMG Peumakmu Syuhada dalam rangka meningkatkan kapasitas ekonomi anggota kelompok melalui pengolahan ikan air tawar dan ikan laut sebagai usaha utama. Produksi ikan kering yang selama ini dilakukan masih berskala kecil dan menggunakan alat pengeringan konvensional yang kurang efisien. Permasalahan utama yang dihadapi mitra adalah rendahnya volume penjualan akibat belum optimalnya strategi pemasaran, yang masih bergantung pada sistem titip jual dan penjualan langsung tanpa memanfaatkan teknologi digital. Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan efisiensi produksi dan memperluas jangkauan pemasaran melalui penerapan teknologi modern serta digitalisasi UMKM. Metode yang digunakan meliputi sosialisasi, pelatihan, pendampingan, dan evaluasi terhadap mitra. Intervensi teknologi dilakukan dengan pemberian freezer untuk menjaga kualitas bahan baku ikan, serta pelatihan penggunaan media digital seperti blog, website, Google Ads, dan berbagai platform media sosial untuk mendukung branding dan pemasaran produk. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan dalam kapasitas produksi, dari 150 kg/hari menjadi 300 kg/hari (peningkatan 100%), serta efisiensi waktu produksi yang berkurang dari 5 jam menjadi 3 jam. Selain itu, masyarakat mitra terlatih dalam teknik produksi ikan kering yang lebih higienis dan efisien, serta aktif dalam memanfaatkan digital marketing untuk memperluas pasar. Kesimpulannya, pengolahan ikan kering oleh kelompok mitra berhasil ditingkatkan melalui penerapan teknologi modern dan strategi pemasaran digital yang terintegrasi, sehingga mendukung penguatan ekonomi lokal berbasis UMKM.

Abstract

In this era of digitalization, the development of technology is so rapid, we can feel this from the ease of all jobs that used to be very complex, such as the existence of financial inclusion systems and financial technology, namely banks or e-banking. Banks play an important role for society, this has proven to be a brilliant solution in financial transactions and transfers. So in this case, the role of financial literacy, financial technology and social capital is very important to increase financial inclusion. This study aims to see how the influence of financial literacy on financial inclusion, the influence of social capital on financial inclusion, and financial technology on the financial inclusion of the people of Blang Village". The research method was quantitative with library research data collection techniques and questionnaire distribution. The population of 300 local people with a percentage of relaxation of 5%, sampling using the Slovin formula so that it became 171 respondents. The sampling technique uses a purposive sampling technique with the criteria of productive age of 20 to 40 years who use financial services and live in Blang Village. Data analysis uses descriptive and multiple linear regression. The results of partial financial literacy have no effect on financial inclusion with a tcal value of 1,715 smaller than ttable 1,794 (1,715<1,974). social capital, affecting financial inclusion with a tcal value of 5,293 greater than ttable (5,293>1,974). financial technology has an effect on financial inclusion with a tcal value of 4,235 greater than ttable (4,235>1,974), a simultaneous hypothesis that there is an influence of financial literacy, social capital and financial technology on financial inclusion with a fcal value of 100,393 greater than ftable 2.66 (100,393>2.66).

Abstract

The urgency of the problem, several main indicators that support this achievement, include increasing financial access, accelerating the use of formal financial services, and improving the quality of financial services. The level of financial literacy in Indonesia is still lower than financial inclusion. Financial literacy has only reached 38.03%. while sharia financial literacy is 20.1%. To increase the level of financial literacy, education and outreach are carried out quite intensively by the National Council for Inclusive Finance. Apart from the general public, education and outreach is also carried out among students and micro and small businesses around Islamic boarding schools (ponpes) as priority groups, in accordance with the mandate of Presidential Regulation Number 114 of 2020 concerning the National Strategy for Inclusive Finance. Indonesia itself has more than 30 thousand Islamic boarding schools and more than 4.2 million Islamic boarding school students. Some of these Islamic boarding schools have great potential in the fields of agriculture, animal husbandry, fisheries and MSEs which can become a driving force for the people's economy, sharia economy and halal MSEs. The sharia financial literacy index in 2019 showed an increase, namely to 8.93% from the previous 8.1% in the previous survey period in 2016. The aim of this research is to determine whether or not there is a relationship between literacy and financial inclusion, whether literacy has a relationship with expanding access. finance, whether financial inclusion has a relationship to expanding financial access. and to measure the level of understanding of female students regarding financial literacy in increasing sharia financial inclusion towards expanding financial access. The ultimate goal of financial literacy and inclusion is the financial welfare of society or often referred to as financial well-being. One of the characteristics of financial well-being is financial resilience. Financial resilience is a condition where a person has the ability to overcome various problems and financial shocks that he or she may face. The output of this research is the publication of accredited National Scientific Articles, namely the Sean Institute Economic Journal with the achievement indicator "Letter of Accepted". The final level of Technology Readiness (TKT) for this research is at level 2 and will end at TKT 5.

Abstract

Program ini bertujuan memperkuat kemandirian ekonomi masyarakat melalui peningkatan kapasitas produksi BUMDesa pada sektor kerajinan eco-printing, yaitu teknik pewarnaan alami ramah lingkungan yang memanfaatkan dedaunan dan tanaman lokal. Sebelum penerapan teknologi, proses produksi eco-printing dilakukan secara manual dan sederhana, sehingga memakan waktu lama, menghasilkan motif yang tidak konsisten, dan memiliki kapasitas produksi terbatas. Dampaknya, produk sulit memenuhi permintaan pasar dalam skala besar serta memiliki daya saing rendah. Pengenalan mesin steam otomatis melalui kegiatan ini meningkatkan efisiensi dan kualitas produksi, mempersingkat waktu penguapan kain dari 5–7 jam menjadi 2–3 jam per batch, serta memungkinkan peningkatan volume produksi tanpa menurunkan kualitas. Selain peningkatan teknis, kegiatan ini juga memberikan pelatihan dan pendampingan kepada anggota BUMDesa serta masyarakat sekitar. Keterlibatan aktif ibu rumah tangga dan pemuda desa memperluas inklusi sosial dan memberdayakan kelompok yang sebelumnya kurang terlibat dalam aktivitas ekonomi produktif. Lebih jauh lagi, program ini menumbuhkan semangat kewirausahaan baru dengan munculnya usaha-usaha rumahan berbasis eco-printing yang dipasarkan secara daring. Hasil kegiatan ini menunjukkan bahwa penerapan teknologi tepat guna tidak hanya meningkatkan produktivitas dan daya saing produk, tetapi juga memperkuat ekonomi desa dan membuka peluang usaha berkelanjutan berbasis kearifan lokal.
