Abstract

The purpose of this study are to describe: (1) Realistic Mathematics Education (RME) in improving Mathematics learning to the students in Department of Primary Schools Teacher Education, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Sebelas Maret University (PGSD FKIP UNS) campus of Kebumen, (2) reconstruction the curriculum of Mathematics Education  subject in the Department of PGSD FKIP UNS campus of Kebumen based on Realistic Mathematics Education (RME), and (3) the construction of teaching material books of Mathematics Education subject in the Department of PGSD FKIP UNS campus of Kebumen based on Realistic Mathematics Education (RME). The research method is Classroom Action Research (CAR) with cyclical model, involving four steps simultaneously as follows: (1) planning, (2) action, (3) observation, and (4) reflection. Subject of this research was all students at the fourth semester in Department of PGSD FKIP UNS Campus of Kebumen in the academic year 2014/2015, totaling 71 students. Techniques of collecting data used by the researcher were observation, interview, and test. Validity of data used in this research was the techniques of triangulation of source, method, and theory. Techniques of analyzing data was descriptive- qualitative data analysis, including data reduction, data display, and drawing conclusion or verification. The results of this research are: (1) the Realistic Mathematics Education (RME) model can improve Mathematics learning to the students in the Department of PGSD FKIP UNS campus of Kebumen, (2) reconstruction the curriculum of Mathematics Education subject in the Department of PGSD FKIP UNS campus of Kebumen, and (3) the teaching material books of Mathematics Education subject in the Department of PGSD FKIP UNS campus of Kebumen based on Realistic Mathematics Education (RME).

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: (1) mengetahui ada tidaknya hubungan positif efikasi diri dengan hasil belajar matematika materi pecahan pada siswa kelas III SDN se-Kecamatan Karangsambung tahun ajaran 2020/2021 dan (2) mengetahui besarnya sumbangan efikasi diri terhadap hasil belajar matematika materi pecahan pada siswa kelas III SDN se-Kecamatan Karangsambung tahun ajaran 2020/2021. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan metode korelasi. Jumlah sampel dalam penelitian ini yaitu 263 siswa di sepuluh SDN di Kecamatan Karangsambung. Analisis data menggunakan uji korelasi pearson product moment dengan taraf signifikansi 0,05 dan menggunakan sumbangan efektif. Uji prasyarat analisis menggunakan normalitas dan linieritas. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan positif dan signifikan antara efikasi diri dan hasil belajar matematika materi pecahan dengan nilai r hitung (0,403) > r tabel (0,121). Efikasi diri memberikan sumbangan terhadap hasil belajar matematika sebesar 16,3%. Hasil penelitian ini telah sesuai dengan teori yang ada dan didukung pula dengan penelitian yang relevan.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is: to describe the science learning experience in terms of creative thinking and to describe the level of students' ability to think creatively using the SRBP model. This study used Design-Based Research (DBR) to investigate the efficacy of hands-on experiments in science learning, combining qualitative and quantitative research methods. Participants were Elementary School Teacher Education students who had taken science lessons, with a total of 105 students. We have developed and examined how this approach might direct creative educational activities. This study uses the Scientific Reading-Based Project (SRBP) conceptual framework. Data collection techniques include questionnaires, observations, interviews, and student portfolios. The results showed that students' learning experience from the creativity aspect increased with each cycle. The learning participants' responses were enjoyable, stimulating students to think creatively. Students performed better because they learned and recalled information through practical experiences. This research recommends applying an innovative learning model that incorporates the principles of discovery and observation, which can stimulate students to think creatively.
