Abstract

HIV infection during pregnancy not only threatens the health and safety of the mother, but can also pose a threat to the fetus. This is because pregnant women with HIV infection have a high risk of mother to child transmission (MTCT) or vertical transmission from mother to baby. This research was a descriptive study which aimed to see the compliance of pregnant women in PMTCT examinations. The population in this study was all pregnant women in the Sutojayan Community Health Center working area who had not taken a PMTCT examination. The sample in this study was 20 pregnant women who had not taken a PMTCT examination at the Sutojayan Community Health Center. The sampling technique used Accidental sampling. Inclusion criteria in this study include (1) pregnant women who had not taken a PMTCT examination, (2) being able to read and write. The instrument in this study used a questionnaire sheet containing compliance statements related to the PMTCT examination developed by the researcher. The data analysis method was by using a frequency distribution. This study was carried out from 10 to 19 April 2023. The results of this study showed that the majority of respondents in the compliant category in the PMTCT examination were 14 respondents (70%) and the number of respondents in the non-compliant category in the PMTCT examination was 6 respondents (30%). PMTCT examination is very important for pregnant women to reduce the risk of HIV transmission from mother to child.

Some of the primary causes of stunting include poor parenting practices, such as the mother's lack of knowledge about nutrition, limited access to health services, insufficient access to nutritious food, and inadequate access to clean water and sanitation. Objective: This study aims to analyze mothers' knowledge of stunting and its impact on stunting prevention efforts. Method: This research employed a correlational analytic design with a cross-sectional approach. The study sample consisted of mothers of toddlers from Posyandu Kenanga 5, with a population of 55. Purposive sampling was used to select 40 respondents. A questionnaire was utilized as the instrument for data collection. The Chi-square statistical test was applied to analyze the data. Results: The findings of this study indicate that 53% of the mothers had sufficient knowledge about stunting. In terms of stunting prevention efforts, 50% of the respondents were categorized as having sufficient efforts. The Chi-square statistical test revealed a significant relationship between mothers' knowledge of stunting and their efforts to prevent it, with a p-value of 0.000.

Abstract

Sectio caesarea is an artificial labor where the fetus was born through an incision in the abdominal wall and the uterus’ wall on the condition of the uterus intact and fetal weight above 500 grams. Labor by Sectio caesarea  causes sores and pain. The presence of wounds and pain causes the mother to be lazy or afraid to mobilize. Early mobilization is a rehabilitative action that is carried out after the patient is awake from anesthesia and after surgery. This study aims to analyze the relationship between early post-sectio caesarea mobilization and the wound healing process of post operative sectio cesaria.  This study used a cross sectional method and the sample was collected as many as 40 respondents using simple random sampling technique. The research data was taken using a questionnaire and then analyzed using the contingency coefficient test. The results showed that almost all of them as many as 35 respondents (87.0%) did early mobilization. The wound healing process of Sectio Caesarea was almost entirely in the good category, namely 35 respondents (87.0%). Contingency coefficient test results obtained = 5%= 0.05, p<α Positive relationship, postpartum mothers often do early mobilization, the better the wound healing. C = 0.611 means a strong relationship level. From the results of these studies, it is necessary to increase the knowledge of post partum mothers about the factors that accelerate the wound healing process of post sectio Caesarea
