Abstract

Filsafat sains membantu menggali konsep-konsep yang mendasari ilmu pengetahuan, seperti penyelidikan tentang apa itu "penjelasan ilmiah", apakah ada "realitas" di luar apa yang dapat diamati, dan bagaimana teori-teori ilmiah dapat diuji dan dikonfirmasi. Ini adalah disiplin yang terus berkembang seiring dengan perkembangan ilmu pengetahuan dan memiliki dampak yang signifikan dalam membantu memahami batasan, etika, dan implikasi sosial dari ilmu pengetahuan. Ibnu Rusyd merupakan salah satu tokoh filsafat Islam yang berbicara mengenai ilmu pengetahuan dan agama. Bagaimana pandangan Ibnu Rusyd tentang filsafat sains ? Penelitian ini berusaha menelusuri pandnagan Ibnu Rusyd tentang filsafat sains. Metode yang digunakan adalah penelitian kepustakaan. Hasil penelitian meliputi : agama dan sains berasal dari sumber yang sama, keduanya tidak bisa dipertentangkan, keduanya akan selalu melengkapi. Sains menggunakan akal sebagai sarana untuk mendapatkan kebenaran, namun akal manusia terbatas untuk bisa menyentuh semua hal kebenaran. Oleh karena itu ada agama yang menjadi pelengkap dan membantu mendapatkan kebenaran secara lengkap.

Abstract

Fokus penelitian ini adalah menjawab tiga permasalahan pokok, yaitu: pertama, bagaimana historis timbulnya Orientalisme? Kedua, bagaimana karakteristik dan dinamika perkembangan Orientalisme? Ketiga, bagaimana pandangan Islam terhadap Orientalisme? Penelitian ini merupakan studi literer (library research) dengan model faktual-historikal yaitu fakta sejarah tentang kebradaan Orientalisme, karakteristik dan dinamika serta perspektif Islam terhadap misi dan tujuan kelompok ilmuan Barat tersebut. Di satu sisi, para orientalist memiliki keistimean sebagai tugas misi suci zending berbekal karakteristik khusus, yakni tugas misi keagamaan, imperial, bisnis, politis dan ilmiah, bahwa Islam (doktrin dan umatnya) harus diperdayakan agar menjadi terpuruk. Di sisi lain syarat ilmiah yang diberikan justeru merupakan beban di mana kejujuran hati dan kemurnian obyektifitas yang harus ditegakkan. Buah pikiran para orientalist dan kitab suci Al-Qur’an, keduanya diletakkan sebagai obyek penelitian. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif, yakni nilai-nilai yang ada di balik kiprah mereka dan kitab suci tersebut. Temuan penelitian ini : pertama, Orientalisme merupakan suatu gerakan para ilmuan Barat yang ahli tentang dunia Islam (agama dan umat Islam), bertujuan mengkacaukan Islam dengan jalan penerbitan dan penyebaran referensi-referensi ilmiah tentang Islam dalam perspektif mereka. Kedua, timbulnya Orientalisme dimotivasi oleh lima hal: keagamaan, imperial, bisnis, politis dan ilmiah, ternyata yang terakhir disebut ini telah membuka mata agar Islam tidak dipandang sebelah mata oleh para oriuentalist. Ketiga, Islam memandang bahwa para Orientalist itu adalah ilmuan (Yahudi dan) Nasrani yang teridentifikasikan dalam Al Qura’an. Rekomendasi penelitian ini adalah bahwa dakwah amar ma’ruf dan nahy munkar menjadi kewajiban di atas pundak setiap insan mukmin untuk dihidup-hidupkan dan jangan pernah berhenti, termasuk kajian komparatif agama yang hendaknya selalu berujuk kepada al-Qur’an dan Sunnah Nabi Muhammad SAW yang shahih. Abstract

AbstractThe Protestant Christian movement which was very hostile to the Catholic Church succeeded in destroying the position of the Catholic Mission in India since the 17th century. But the French revolution had caused political upheaval in the Netherlands which resulted in the destruction of the Protestant Zending center and the revival of the Katoik Mission. as well as being very strong. After the Malacca peninsula was taken over by the Dutch and their power in Indonesia grew, the Catholic religion in Sulawesi was gradually taken over by the Dutch. namely in 1807, seven years later, in 1904, the center of the Catholic Mission in the Netherlands sent two delegates to Jakarta, Jacob Nellisen and Lambert Prinsen, then the mission was centered in Jakarta, Semarang and Surabaya.The purpose of this study include: to find out about the opinion of the Islamic community towards Christianization, how the relationship of the West Silver community between the Islamic Society and the Christian Community as well as how the religious attitude of the Islamic community towards Christians in the West Perak village.The results obtained are the views of the Islamic community towards Christianization can be mapped into 3 things: first the group of preachers: they argue that this movement must be dammed by preaching through three elements of preaching, namely: first: Charity of oral deeds, second: actualization of Islam with real works, third: praiseworthy personality as sokogurunya. The second group is ordinary people: they think religion is a personal belief that cannot be applied to others. The third group, namely: people who convert to Christianity but back again, they argue that religion cannot be related to ethnicity or family, it is a personal problem because one is free to choose the religion and belief that he believes. The relationship between the Islamic community and the Christian community is very tolerant and the religious attitude of the Islamic community towards Christians is to accept in worldly terms but not in religious or Shari'a matters. Keywords: Christianization, the opinion of the Islamic community towards Christianization.

Abstract

Indonesia terkenal sebagai negara agraris, dengan lahan pertania yang luas serta profesi petani yang doniman. Dalam penelitian ini pembahasan yang dikaji adalah yang berkaitan dengan masyarakat petani di desa prambanan kec. Gayam kab. Sumenep. Dengan fokus penelitian pada bagaimana keberagamaan petani dalam kehidupan sehari – hari. Petani merupakan orang yang berprofesi sebagai tani. Dalam kesehariannya mereka bekerja mengurusi lahan pertanian. Pekerjaan menggarap pertanian menjadi pekerjaan pokok mereka. Masyarakat petani cenderung kekurangan karena hasil pertaniannya hanya cukup untuk makan pribadi bahkan kurang. Keberagamaan adalah aktifitas keseharian yang berkaitan dengan agama dan kepercayaan.  Metode dalam penelitian ini yaitu jenis deskriptif kualitatif, yang mana penulis membuat deskripsi atau gambaran secara sistematis, factual dan juga akurat dengan kata – kata yang beraitan dengan fenomene yang diselidiki. Yang mana data didapatkan dengan tekhnik pengumpulan data hasil observasi, wawancara serta dokumentasi. Dan kemudian hasil tersebut di analisis dalam bentuk uraian deskriptif  Hasil penelitian bahwa masyarakat petani dalam keberagamaan mereka lebih fokus kepada hal-hal tentang akhlak bersosial atau bermasyarakat. Sedangkan untuk menjalankan ibadah kepada Allah dalam keseharian masih kurang. Mereka malas dalam melaksanakan ibadah secara rutin berdasarkan kesadaran dan tanggung jawabnya sebagai seorang hamba. Masyarakat petani masih sering mengutamakan untuk fakus dalam pekerjaannya tanpa menyeimbangkan dengan memintanya kepada Allah SWT. Namun bagi mereka yang memiliki pendidikan pondok pesantren ada kesadaran untuk menjalankan ibadah secara rutin dalam keseharian mereka. Sehingga faktor pendidikan agama yang lebih di pondok pesantern menjadikan seorang memiliki aktifitas keberagamaan yang lebih baik dibanding mereka yang tidak mendapatkan pendidikan agama di pondok pesantren.

Abstract

This article concentrates on the Arabic language editor written in the Muhammadiyah's Divinity Section of the Tarjih Judgment Association (HPT). Even though it is in the form of writing with a short editorial, it contains clues for findong references used by tarjih muhammadiyah scholars in the early period of its formulation. The purpose of this study is to examine the thoughts of Wahyudi Sarju Abdurrahim regarding his views on the Muhammadiyah creed which is implied in the HPT book. The term Ahlul Haq Wassunnah contained in the text of the HPT chapter on Faith is used as an entry point in tracking the literacy sources of the tarjih scholars in formulating the HPT of Muhammadiyah. Furthermore, he compared the classical books (turast) in the field of kalam science from various schools of faith with the HPT Muhammadiyah to find the suitability of the texts and its meanings. Of the many schools of creed, finally converging on two great figures, namely Abu Hasan Al-Asy'ari and Muhammad bin Abdul Wahab. The reason for choosing these two figures was because they were seen as representing the two currents of kalam thought that developed in Muhammadiyah. The type of research used in this article is library research with primary sources matan (editors) of HPT Muhammadiyah and secondary sources in the form of classic books (turats) by Mutakallimin scholars from the early era of their appearance to the late era.

Abstract

Research on religious and cultural syncretism in the frame of the local gebyak halmet tradition in Pacet Made hamlet, Mojokerto, East Java aims to find out the history of gebyak halmet, its process, and religious and cultural syncretism in the frame of the local gebyak halmet tradition, as well as the responses of the community and related religious leadees gebyak Dusun local tradition. This study uses qualitative research methodes to obtain descriptive data in the form of words in spoken and written form. And using an ethnographic approach, namely research studies on society and culture. Data collection techniques in this study used observation, documentation and interviews. The result and discussion of this study is the discovery of syncretism in the local tradition of gebyak in Pacet Made hamlet, namely the history of this tradition which wa originally to reject reinformecent due to the occurrence of illness and trance in Pacet Made hamlet, now it has developed into a form of gratitude to God. And what was originally this tradition only gave offerings to pepunden, now it is experiencing a fusion of religion and culture, namely in the procession of the gebyak hamlet tradition there are tahlilan and join prayer.

Abstract

Violence in the name of religion continues to sprout within Indonesian society. This article aims to describe the religious conflict resolution model of the NU Ansor Youth Movement and the Muhammadiyah Youth of the Paciran Lamongan Branch. This research employs a qualitative method with a sociological approach to religion, and data collection was conducted through interviews and the study of relevant literature. The findings of this study indicate that: 1) Both the NU Ansor Youth Movement and Muhammadiyah Youth reject violent models of preaching. 2) There is a difference in attitude towards perpetrators of violence, where the NU Ansor Youth Movement tends to adopt a non-accommodative firm stance, unequivocally rejecting and insisting that perpetrators of violence must be punished according to legal statutes, whereas Muhammadiyah Youth exhibits a firm-accommodative attitude, sternly condemning acts of violence but remaining willing to embrace and invite the perpetrators back to a tolerant and inclusive understanding. 3) The media of resolution employed include issuing advisory letters, press releases to the media, dialogues among community elements, conveying deradicalization insights through religious study sessions (Yasinan and Tahlilan), and the formation of Densus 99 Anti-Terror. 4) The conflict resolution model consists of two stages: long-term, aiming to build cadre awareness of the importance of a tolerant attitude and peaceful living through education, training, social and economic empowerment, ideological development, and the distribution of cadres to the public domain; and short-term, wherein preaching programs are executed sporadically and reactively at the time or after acts of violence to prevent the expansion and escalation of conflict.

Abstract

This study aims to analyse the relevance of pluralist thought pioneered by Abdurrahman Wahid (Gus Dur) to Generation Z as a means of strengthening religious moderation in the current era, enabling them to act wisely in various situations and phenomena. This research employs a library research method, involving the collection of written data or works related to Gus Dur’s pluralist ideas, which are bibliographical in nature. The findings of this study indicate that Gus Dur’s pluralist thought remains highly relevant to the challenges faced by Generation Z today. The discussion identifies religious moderation from the perspective of Gus Dur’s pluralism, encouraging imitation and emulation of his attitudes and behaviours when addressing various religious situations and phenomena. Gus Dur serves as a role model for demonstrating tolerance, inclusivity, and harmony within diversity—qualities that are crucial for Generation Z, who navigate a world of digital information and complex social dynamics. This study concludes that Gus Dur’s pluralist views significantly contribute to strengthening religious moderation among Generation Z, fostering a spirit of tolerance and inclusiveness, and reinforcing national solidarity and unity. For future researchers, it is recommended to further develop similar studies to provide deeper, more comprehensive insights and address existing research gaps.
