Abstract

This research aims to improve the storytelling abilities of fourth grade students at SD Inpres Minasa Upa 1 by implementing the Project Based Learning learning model. This research approach is CAR or Classroom Action Research which is carried out in two cycles, namely cycles I and II. This research can be categorized into four, namely: (1) participatory action research, critical action research, institutional action research, and classroom action research. Data collection techniques in this research used observation and tests. From cycle I to cycle II, there was an increase of 13% from 13 students who completed 9 students and 4 students who did not complete. Because they come from broken homes and have uneducated families so they don't pay enough attention to studying, apart from that they lack motivation and desire to achieve. The results of this research also show a significant increase in the learning process and learning outcomes, a conducive classroom atmosphere and student interest in participating in learning. The results of this research show that there is an increase in student achievement in each cycle, at each meeting in cycle I, meeting I has an average score of 60.76 with a completion percentage of 30.76% and at meeting II the average score is 68.84 with a completion percentage of 46. .15%. cycle II, meeting I average value was 74.15 with a percentage of 61.53% and meeting II average value was 80.76 with a percentage of 69.53%.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe the frequency of occurrence in the relationship between categories according to the Verbal Interaction Catagory System (VICS). The suitability of verbal interactions that occur between VICS according to Flanders and pedagogical acts according to Siregar. Communication patterns in classroom interactions in the teaching and learning process of Indonesian language subjects on personal letters and official letters in class VII A of SMP Negeri 2 Polongbangkeng Utara. This study uses a qualitative descriptive method. The data sources in this study are data in the form of words, sentences and discourses contained in interpersonal speech in the classroom interaction discourse of SMP Negeri 2 Polongbangkeng Utara. The dimensional relationships that often appear are (2-7a), namely the teacher directs the learner, this can be seen during the learning process. The role of the teacher in the teaching and learning process of official letters and personal letters as a provider of direction and information can be seen from the large number of areas A that appear at 17.70% of all interactions that occur in the classroom. This proves the occurrence of active learning where students are fully involved in the teaching and learning process while the teacher is a facilitator. There is a match between the results of verbal interactions that occur between VICS according to Flanders and pedagogical actions according to Siregar. Where in VICS according to Siregar the discussion process dominates the verbal interactions that occur during the teaching and learning process with the role of the teacher as a provider of direction and information. Pedagogical actions that are often carried out by teachers during the teaching and learning process are in the form of directing motives and informing motives. In class interactions that occur in the teaching and learning process of Indonesian language subjects on official letters and personal letters, a multi-directional communication pattern or transactional communication pattern occurs. Where there is interaction between teachers and students, students and students during the teaching and learning process.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan wujud ikon, indeks, dan simbol sebagai penanda nilai pendidikan karakter dalam novel Jenderal Kambing karya Khrisna Pabichara dengan menggunakan teori semiotika Charles Sanders Peirce. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian dengan pendekatan deskriptif dengan desain deskriptif kualitatif. Adapun metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode kepustakaan. Data penelitian berupa kata, frasa, dan kalimat yang mengandung tanda-tanda semiotik dalam novel. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat 191 wujud tanda yang terdiri atas ikon, indeks, dan simbol, yang setelah direduksi menjadi 101 data yang mengandung nilai-nilai pendidikan karakter. Ikon dalam novel ini berfungsi menggambarkan keserupaan dengan realitas dan memuat nilai berpikir kritis, kemandirian, dan kewargaan. Indeks menunjukkan hubungan sebab-akibat yang menandai perjuangan dan keteguhan tokoh, mencerminkan nilai kemandirian dan keimanan. Sementara itu, simbol yang terdiri atas simbol konvensional, aksidental, dan universal, memperlihatkan nilai-nilai spiritual, budaya, dan kemanusiaan seperti keimanan, cinta tanah air, dan komunikasi. Nilai-nilai pendidikan karakter yang ditemukan pada ikon, indeks, dan simbol akan memberi kontribusi dalam pembelajaran sastra di sekolah.

Abstract

 This study aimed to determine the significant effect of the Picture Media-Assisted MID (Meaningful Instructional Design) Learning Model on students' Short Story Writing Ability and Learning Motivation in Bahasa Indonesia Online at grade V of SD Inpres Galangan Kapal 2, Makassar. The design of this study was a non-equivalent control group design. The data analysis techniques were descriptive analysis and inferential analysistechniques through the independent sample T-test and the Manova test. The study results found that the average score of students' short story writing ability in the pre-test was 55.16, and the average score in the post-test after implementing the MID model was 82.20. Then, the Independent sample T-test results found that Tcount = 3.118 > Ttable = 2.021, and the sig. value was 0.003 < 0.05. Moreover, after using the MID model assisted by image media, the students' learning motivation results obtained a Tcount of 8.085 > Ttable of 2.021 with the sig. value of 0.000 < 0.05. Then, the results of the Manova test found that 0.000 <0.05, indicating that Ha was accepted and Ho was rejected. Thus, the picture media-assisted MID model significantly influenced the students' short story writing skills and motivation to learn Bahasa Indonesia online at grade V of SD Inpres Galangan Kapal 2, Makassar.
