Abstract

This research arouse from the observations of researcher towardsBayang Sani waterfall tourist attraction manage by the local people. Thisresearch aims to know the Bayang Sani waterfall tourist attraction in thevillage of Koto Baru Bayang Pesisir Selatan Regency which includes threeterms of attractions: Something to see, Something to do and Something tobuy. This research is a descriptive research with qualitative data. Thetechnique of data collection is done using the method of interview,observation and documentation. Based on the research found a few thingsrelated to Bayang Sani waterfall tourist attractions namely: (a) Somethingto see, views of Bayang Sani waterfall beautiful and cool, there are floraand fauna. (b) Something to do, which can be done in a tourist attractionare bathing, swimming, taking pictures and played Benen attraction whileswimming. Abstract

This research is motivated not influx attraction Tugu Jepang Air Bangis Beach into 10 major destination attractions in West Sumatra. This research aimed to describe potential of Tugu Japan Air Bangis Beach which include (a) what to see, (b) what to do, (c) what to buy, (d) what to arrived and (e) what to stay. This type of research is qualitative descriptive. The data of this research is the potential attraction of Pantai Tugu Jepang Air Bangis. Techniques of collecting data using interviews, observation and documentation involving informants namely attraction manager (5 people), traders around attractions (7 people), as well as visitor attractions (10) using Snowball sampling technique. results of the research are Tugu Japan Air Bangis Beach no fit into 10 major destination attractions  West Sumatra. It is seen by 5 main condition Tugu Japan Air Bangis Beach tourism destination not meet these requirements to the maximum five. Abstract

The research started from observation and experience of researcher whiledoing activity of industrial field experience at Tourism Office of West SumateraProvince, that there is descreasing performance to employee discipline in work.The purpose of research is to see how big the influence of variable discipline (X)to Employee Performance (Y) in the Tourism Office of West Sumatra Province.The sample of the in this research were 42 people taken using the technique ofsampling proportionate stratified random sampling. The data collection was donewith the questionnaire using scale likert that they are highly capable validity andreliability. This research result indicates that : (1) The discipline in the categorysufficient (45%), (2) The Employee Performance is at category sufficient (60%)(3) The discipline affect Employee Performance of 64,9 % and 35,1% influencedby other factors. Then obtained regression coefficient value of 0.880 with a valueof t arithmetic 8.608 on sig. 0,000 ≤ 0.05. This means that each increase of 1 unitdiscipline will increase 0.880 units of employee performance.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to examine the influence between the quality of service towards visitor satisfaction in Adityawarman Museum. The type of research is clausal assosiative. Population in this research are amounted to 117 people. The sampling technique is non probability sampling, by using insidental sampling. Sample in this research are amounted to 54 people. Data collecting using a questionnaire based on a Likert scale that has been tested for validity and reliability. Based on the results of theresearch concluded that in general about the quality of service in Adityawarman Museum is good (63 %), meanwhile for visitor satisfaction in Adityawarman Museum is also good (66,7 %). The results also indicate that the are significant influence between quality of service and visitor satisfaction in Adityawarman Museum with the coefficient determinant (R Square) value of 0,146 on a 0,004 significant value. Abstract

The study aims to know an effort to maintain sanitation equipment to eat and drink in the Café Damil Denia Universitas Negeri Padang of the which consist of the early stages of the laundering, laundering, flushing, eradication of germs, drying, and storage equipment to eat and drink. This type of research it’s a sort of descriptive set of qualitative. The data collection is done using the method of interviews, observations, and documentation involving informants, namely management, and employee Café Damil Denia. The analysis of data in this study include the reduction of data, and the conclusion. The result of this research is (1)The eating utensils and drinking just one container. (2) Of eating utrnsils and drinking did not immediateky be appointed to the wash. (3) A cup and plate that have not been washed in clean. (4) The drink is ready to be washed and still wet laid down in the visitors. (5) Of eating utensils and drinking will be used still a stain. Abstract

This research aims to know the influence of marketing mix toward purchasing decision at Nagari Pandai Sikek Kec.X Koto Kab. Tanah Datar. This research of two varibles i.e marketing mix and purchasing decision. Type of this research is quantitative descriptive with causal assosiatif method. The population in this research using the formula widiyanto (2008: 34) to population numbers unknown so obtained samples as many as 96 people. The technique of sampling with purposive sample. Analysis technique with a simple regression test. Based on the research that has been done then the obtained results : (1) the marketing mix is a good category (57.29%), (2) purchasing decisions are on either category (72.92%), (3)hypothesis test result of simple linear regression obtained f countdown with sig. 0,000 < 0,05, then the marketing mix variables can explain the purchasing decision significantlywith the R Square of 0,297 that is where there is the influence of marketing mix towards purchasing decision of 29% and 71 % more influenced by other factorsKeyword: marketing mix, purchasing decisions

Abstract

The aim of this research is to describe the attitude of the PKK’s Tata Boga FT UNP students in PLI from the discipline and the careness. This research is the qualitative descriptive research with ex post facto approach. This research is done in some hotels in Padang such as Basko Premier Hotel, Pangeran Beach Hotel, HayamWuruk Hotel and Rocky Plaza Hotel. The data collection through interview with 10 informants who are the kitchen and pastry supervisor. The data validation is done by triangulation method. The result shows that (1) the students of Tata Boga UNP generally have the good attitude during PLI in some hotels in Padang, (2) the students have the good discipline to their jobs and the role of the industry, only some of them who break the rule, such as their absence during PLI, (3) the students have the good careness to their jobs, their environment, and only some of them still don’t aware of the safety.     Keywords :Discipline, Caraness

Abstract

This research aim to know how to management of tourism Muaro Binguang Beachwhich consist of 4 indicator: ( a) planning, ( b) organizing, ( c) actuating, and ( d) controlling.This research is descriptive of qualitative. Question of this research is how management oftourism Muaro Binguang Beach. Data collection technique is done by using the methode ofinterviews, observation, and the documentation that involves the manager of the object of tourismas well as the community surounding tourist object and tourists. A qualitative data analisystechnique that includes three activity lines are data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion.Based on the result of research found some matters relating to the management of tourism MuaroBinguang Beach : 1. planning, 2. organizing, 3. actuating, and 4. Controlling in Muaro BinguangBeach. Planning related to the goal to be achieved in the long term as an integreted marinetourism area the provides comfort and security during the tour. Abstract

Depends on the observation and interview with the students of cookery family welfare department, showed that student creativity with the low achievement. The goal of this research is to reveal students creativity with the achievement for cookery management in cookery study program of family welfare department technic faculty of UNP. This research describe 1) students creativity for cookery management in cookery study program, 2) the student achievement for for cookery management in cookery study program, 3) the correlation between Students Creativity with the study result of Cookery Management in Coockery Study Programme. The kind of this research is descriptive research with correlation approach. The population of this research is the students of cookery management which are 102 people consist of 31 people for restaurant cookery management, 36 people for catering cookery management and 31 people for industrial cookery management. The sampling technic is total sampling. The kind of the instrument is questionare that arranged in Likert scale through validity and realibility test. Data analysis technic is descriptive statistic and correlation with product moment correlation formula then processed by using SPSS 15.0 version. The result shows that 40,2% students creativity is in the middle chategory, 46,1% students didn’t pass the cookery management. There is positive and significan correlation between students creativity (X) with students achievement for cookery management (Y), with the correlation number 0,835 whereas tcounted > ttable (15,168 > 1,658). The student creativity variable (X) give 69,7% contribution for the student achievement in cookery management with 30,3% other variable. These results indicate that there is a relationship with the student learning outcomes creative course MUB The existence of student creativity will provide a positive impact on learning outcomes.

Abstract

The study aims to analyze and to know the level of satisfaction of tourist about the application of the armed forces a tourist attraction in Pantai Air Manis Padang. Type of this research is descriptive quantitative data using survey method. Population in this research amounted 1.173 people. Sampling method is non probability sampling, using purposive sampling. Sample number in this research amounted to 93 people. Data collection using a questionnaire using likert scale that tested for validity and reliability. Furthermore data analyzed by descriptive analysis with importance performance analisysis (IPA). The result of this research is that it is cocluded that in general analysis of sapta enchantment in Pantai Air Manis Padang from 93 of respondents declared that 44,68% of very satisfied, 34,04% less satisfied and 21,28% are not satisfied.Key words: Analysis, Armed Forces Enchanment, Tourists
