THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN PEER SUPPORT AND PUBLIC SPEAKING CONFIDENCE AMONG COLLEGE STUDENTSPublic speaking confidence is influenced by several factors, one of them is peer support. This study aims to determine the relationship between peer support and public speaking confidence in college students. The sample in this study was 70 students of the 2017 Islamic Broadcast Communication Studies Program at the Da'wah and Communication Science Faculty of UIN Raden Intan Lampung. Data collection methods used in this study was self confidence scale and peer support scale. The data that has been collected is then analyzed using Pearson product moment correlation analysis techniques. The results showed the correlation rx-y = 0.817 and the coefficient of determination R2 = 0.667 with p = 0.000 (p> 0.05). This shows that there is a positive and significant relationship between peer support and confidence in public speaking. This study revealed that the peer support made an effective contribution of 66.7% on the confidence in public speaking.Kepercayaan diri berbicara di depan umum dipengaruhi oleh beberapa faktor, salah satunya dukungan teman sebaya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara dukungan teman sebaya dengan kepercayaan diri berbicara di depan umum pada mahasiswa. Sampel pada penelitian ini adalah 70 mahasiswa Program Studi Komunikasi Penyiaran Islam angkatan 2017 pada Fakultas Dakwah dan Ilmu Komunikasi UIN Raden Intan Lampung. Metode pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini menggunakan skala kepercayaan diri dan skala dukungan teman sebaya. Data yang telah terkumpul kemudian dianalisis dengan menggunakan teknik analisis korelasi pearson product moment. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan korelasi rx-y = 0,817 dan koefisien determinasi R2= 0,667 dengan p = 0,000 (p > 0,05). Hal tersebut menunjukan bahwa adanya hubungan yang positif dan signifikan antara dukungan teman sebaya dengan kepercayaan diri berbicara di depan umum. Penelitian ini mengungkapkan bahwa variabel dukungan teman sebaya memberikan sumbangan efektif sebesar 66,7% pada variabel kepercayaan diri berbicara di depan umum.

This study aims to discuss the relationship of Islamic parenting content on Instagram social media to the parenting style of young couples in Indonesia. The subjects in this study were 10 parents with the following criteria: age of marriage under 10 years; already have children; actively use Instagram; and follow Islamic parenting accounts on Instagram. The research instrument used is a questionnaire sheet consisting of two parts, namely the parenting style questionnaire and the questionnaire related to Islamic parenting content on Instagram. This study uses a descriptive quantitative approach, where respondents' answers are described and linked to a literature review. The results of this study are 2 respondents are in the category of high Islamic parenting understanding, 8 respondents have low Islamic parenting understanding. Meanwhile, for parenting style, 3 respondents have authoritarian parenting style, 3 respondents have authoritative parenting style, and 4 respondents have permissive parenting style. Based on the results of the chi-square test using spss, it is known that the Asimpsig value is 0.153>0.05, it can be concluded that there is no significant relationship between understanding Islamic parenting content and parenting style. This can also mean that the respondents' understanding of Islamic parenting content has no correlation with parenting style.

Abstract:This study aims to determine the increase in motivation to learn mathematics in junior high school by using blended learning and edmodo-based e-learning. The research method used was quasi-experimental, with a sample of 86 students divided into three classes, namely blended learning class, e-learning class, and conventional class. The results of the questionnaire were carried out statistical tests using a one-way ANOVA test and further tests using the Scheffe test to determine the differences in the increase in motivation to learn mathematics in each experimental class. Thus, it can be concluded that is accepted which states that there is an increase in motivation to learn mathematics in junior high school by using edmodo-based blended learning and e-learning.Abstrak:Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan motivasi belajar matematika di SMP dengan menggunakan blended learning dan e-learning berbasis edmodo. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah quasi eksperimen, dengan sampel sebanyak 86 peserta didik yang terbagi menjadi tiga kelas, yaitu kelas blended learning, kelas e-learning, dan kelas konvensional. Hasil dari angket tersebut dilakukan uji statistik menggunakan uji ANOVA satu arah dan uji lanjut dengan menggunakan uji scheffe untuk mengetahui perbedaan peningkatan motivasi belajar matematika pada masing-masing kelas eksperimen. Sehingga, dapat disimpulkan bahwa diterima yang menyatakan bahwa terdapat peningkatan motivasi belajar matematika di SMP dengan menggunakan blended learning dan e-learning berbasis edmodo.

Self-regulated learning is the ability of an individual to play an active role in the learning process both in metacognition, motivation, anda behavior. One of the factors that influence self-regulated learning is goal orientation and peer attachment. The study aims to analyze the relationship between goal orientation and peer attachment with self-regulated in student learning. The implication in this study is how students pursue meaningful learning by using self-regulated in good learning. This type of research is quantitative. The method of data collection in this study was to use three types of psychological scales, namely self-regulates learning, goal orientation, and peer attachment in the from of a questionnaire distributed throught google from media. The subjects in this study were 480 active students of UIN Raden Intan Lampung. The sampling technique using accidental sampling. Validity in this study using content validity and reliability using cronbach’s alpha. In this study using partial correlation and multiple regression data analysis techniques wuth the JASP software version 0.16.3.0. The results in this study obtained a value of R = 0.843 with a value of F = 165.083 (p<0.01) it shows that there is a significant positive relationship between goal orientation and peer attachment with self-regulated learning in university students. Goal orientation variables and peer attachment have an effect of 71.1% on self-regulated learning in university sudents..

Student academic achievement is the result of the interaction between environmental factors and individual factors. This study uses parental involvement as environmental factors and social skills as individual factors that can affect the academic achievement of students with special needs in inclusive elementary schools. This study aims to examine the theoretical model of students' social skills as mediator on the effect of parental involvement on the academic achievement of students with special needs in inclusive elementary schools. Participants in this study were parents of students with special needs (N=365) who studied in inclusive public and private elementary schools in five areas of DKI Jakarta. The results showed that social skills mediate the effect of parental involvement on the academic achievement of students with special needs in inclusive primary schools.

Plagiarism is rife in academic activities. Where one of them is the justification of student perceptions of learning achievement. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of cognitive dissonance on plagiarism behavior in students. This research intervention uses the theory of Adishesa & Prawiro (2020). This study replicated the intervention by controlling for the mindfulness variable through the “stop plagiarism†poster and 10 items of knowledge about plagiarism from the University of Southern Mississippi. This study used a posttest only two group experimental design. The sampling technique in this study used convenience sampling and obtained 40 students who were then divided into two groups, namely, the experimental group I and the experimental group II. Data analysis techniques used the Mann Whitney test to determine differences in plagiarism scores in the two research groups. The results showed that there were differences in plagiarism scores in the two groups with the Z test = -4.996 and sig. (2-tailed) is 0.00 < 0.05. The results showed that in the experimental group I where participants were given freedom by working on essays at home, the experimental group I got a higher plagiarism score than the experimental group II. Some previous studies showed that students with special education needs (SEN) in inclusive elementary schools experience many problems, including academic problems. One individual factor that can affect the academic achievement of students with SEN is social skills. This study aimed to understand the correlation between social skills and academic achievement of students with SEN in inclusive elementary schools. We also examined demographic variables of children (children’s gender, type of disability, and level of impairment) that can affect children’s social skills. Participants in this study were 210 classroom teachers who teach 365 students with SEN inclusive elementary schools in Jakarta. Participants were obtained by convenience sampling technique, with sample from 17 public and five private inclusive elementary schools in Jakarta. This study was conducted using a quantitative method and correlational non-experimental design, and used pearson correlation, independent t-test, and one-way ANOVA as statistical test. Our results showed that social skills have a significant correlation to academic achievement of children with SEN. The only demographc variables that affected parental involvement was the level of impairment experienced by children. The results suggest that social skills are an important aspect to be developed in students with SEN.

This study examines the dynamics of women's leadership in Islamic political parties. The National Awakening Party (PKB) and the National Mandate Party (PAN) in Gorontalo Regency are case studies. In this study, the author outlines several important findings related to the patterns and practices of power that occur. The purpose of this study is to explain the processes and obstacles that influence women's leadership in Islamic political parties in Gorontalo. The type of research used is qualitative research with a case study research method, namely an in-depth research approach to a particular case or phenomenon. The results of this study conclude that: there are different processes of women's political leadership demonstrated by each party leader. This is known from the patterns and interactions carried out to achieve the goals set with the power held as party leaders. In addition, several main factors were found that most dominant influence women's leadership in political parties, namely: 1) Culture and traditions that influence public perception, 2) Women's resource capacity in building political networks, 3) Political Party Support. All of these are the main factors that determine the success of women in exercising their power as leaders.

Menyelenggarakan pelayanan yang bermutu untuk memberikan kepuasan peserta didik dapat diperoleh salah satunya adalah dengan memberi pelayanan administrasi yang baik. Penelitian ini berjudul “Pengaruh Kualitas Pelayanan Administrasi Terhadap Kepuasan Siswa SMAN 1 Punggur Lampung Tengah ”..Tujuan dalam penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh kualitaspelayanan administrasi terhadap kepuasan siswa SMAN 1 Punggur Kabupaten Lampung Tengah secara parsial. Kepuasan bagi siswa menjadi kajian permasalahan dalam penelitian ini. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan metode survey eksplanasi. Populasi dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 70 siswa dengan sampel penelitian sebanyak 60 siswa. Pengumpulan data menggunakan angket denganpekerjaan yang relevan merupakan suatu apresiasi untuk memperoleh pengakuan dari masyarakat serta unggul teknik pengambilan sampel dalam penelitian ini menggunakan simple random sampling.

Background: Student engagement in learning is influenced by various factors, including the personality trait of conscientiousness and school climate.Objective: This study aims to analyze the influence of these two factors on student engagement in high schools in Bandar Lampung. Method: This research uses a quantitative approach involving 394 students with Accidental Sampling as the sampling technique. Data collection is done using a student engagement scale (Y), conscientiousness personality trait scale (X1), and school climate scale (X2). Data analysis in this study uses multiple regression with the assistance of JASP software. Results: The study shows that the conscientiousness personality trait has a significant influence on student engagement, while the school climate contributes to increasing motivation and student engagement. The regression analysis shows an R² value of 0.724, meaning that 72.4% of the variation in student engagement can be explained by conscientiousness and school climate, while 27.6% is influenced by other factors not examined in this study. Conclusion: The development of character and a positive school environment can improve student engagement. The results are expected to serve as recommendations for educators and policymakers in designing more effective learning strategies.
