Abstract

Many mosques in Indonesia face challenges in managing their operational activities, such as construction donations, donations to orphans, funeral donations, and religious assemblies as well as other financial administration. Conventionally, the recording of these activities is still done manually through financial recording in books and socializing the information using loudspeakers or utilizing mosque bulletin boards. To overcome these limitations, this research proposes the development of a Web-based Mosque Management Information System that aims to improve operational efficiency, transparency, and accessibility. The system was developed by taking a case study at Darul Amal Mosque which is a mosque in West Sumatra, Indonesia. The system was developed using PHP programming language and Laravel framework, with an online donation feature that allows donors to make donations without the need to be physically present. The research successfully developed a mosque management platform as expected. And it has been proven that a centralized and easily accessible online management process facilitates financial management, improves services to worshipers and donors, and provides better accountability in mosque operations.

Abstract

Technological advancements have encouraged businesses to optimize data utilization, including in sales analysis. This study analyzes sales transaction data of tobacco products at Tobacco Shop Taste using the K-Means Clustering method. By implementing the Cross-Industry Standard Process for Data Mining (CRISP-DM) framework, the sales data were categorized into three groups: highly sold, moderately sold, and less sold. These clustering results support stock management, marketing strategies, and data-driven decision-making. A web-based system was developed, providing real-time monitoring of analysis results, which distinguishes this study from existing solutions by enabling store management to promptly respond to sales trends. This study significantly contributes to the application of data mining technology in the tobacco retail sector, despite being limited to a single store and basic variables. Future development opportunities include integrating broader datasets and analyzing external variables to enhance the accuracy and relevance of the findings.

Abstract

This study utilizes a rich repository of global development data to forecast the Human Development Index, harnessing the World Bank's World Development Indicators (WDI) database and the United Nations Development Program 's extensive human development metrics as primary data sources. Employing R as the driving force, this research unfolds through a meticulously structured four-phase methodology. The initial phase encompasses data pre-processing tasks, including web scraping, merging, cleansing, and transforming datasets. Subsequently, exploratory data analysis is conducted to unravel correlations and regression patterns among variables, culminating in the creation of refined data frames. The crux of this study revolves around machine learning, where two distinct random forest models are crafted: one for regression and another for classification purposes. Additionally, authentic development indicators are used to predict the Human Development Index accurately. Beyond merely deploying machine learning techniques, this research highlights the importance of adopting a multifaceted approach to assess and address global development challenges. This study not only aims to predict the Human Development Index but also lays a foundation for future research endeavors in this domain. It opens up avenues for exploring novel methodologies and datasets to make more precise and comprehensive predictions of human development indices. The findings of this research are poised to make a significant contribution to understanding the dynamics of global development and devising effective strategies for promoting human well-being worldwide.

Abstract

SMA 1 V Koto Timur merupakan salah satu SMA Negeri yang berada di Kecamatan V Koto Timur Kabupaten Padang Pariaman Provinsi Sumatera Barat. Selama pandemik covid 19, SMA 1 V Koto Timur melaksanakan proses pembelajaran dengan mengkombinasikan pembelajaran langsung dengan pembelajaran dalam jaringan(daring /online). Pembuatan media pembelajaran yang menarik sangat dibutuhkan untuk membuat ketertarikan siswa dalam mempelajarinya sehingga target pembelajaran dapat dicapai walaupun dilakukan secara tidak langsung. Permasalahan yang dihadapi sekarang adalah minimnya pengetahuan mengenai aplikasi-aplikasi yang dapat digunakan untuk membantu pembuatan media pembelajaran yang lebih interaktif. Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat yang diadakan berupa kegiatan pelatihan penggunaan canva untuk pembuatan media pembelajaran interaktif dan komunikatif menggunakan aplikasi Canva. Kegiatan berlangsung sukses ditandai dengan meningkatnya pemahaman mereka mengenai penggunaan aplikasi Canva dalam pembuatan media pembelajaran yang interaktif.
