Abstract

Nowadays, there are some improvement of people's needs along with technology development especially android. People wanted to get information about something as quickly as possible by only using their phone's application. One of the example is information about school (profile, location,etc). In Padang city, there are so many schools that scattered throughout all the regions.This research try to build an application that can give any kind of information about school that user's wanted by only using their own phone. This application built in both side user and client. This application has been implemented by using a mobile phone with at least android operating system 4.0 version (ice cream sandwich) and it is successful in identifying the user's location and getting the information about school that they wanted. Abstract

Nowadays people have started to realize the importance of health. Everyone wants to quickly find out where the right doctor is if they want to get health services or have shown certain symptoms of illness. This research resulted in an application called "find doctor" which aims to be able to find the location and information of the doctor closest to the user while in the city of Padang. This study adopted stages of the Waterfall Model and was built using the Location Based Service method provided by Android. This application is built from two sides, namely the android client and the web server. This research produces an application that can find the location and information of the desired doctor's practice in the city of Padang. Applications that can be accessed using an internet browser (server) and android smartphone (client) with a minimum Android 5.0 operating system.

Abstract

Since the first case of COVID-19 was discovered in Indonesia in March 2020, the number of positively contaminated patients is increasing every day. On April 13, 2021, there were 1,571,824 patients who were positively contaminated with COVID-19. Various efforts have been made to suppress the spread of this dangerous virus, one of which is by implementing health protocols that must be obeyed when someone is in a crowd. The recommendation to use masks is a form of health protocol. Often people ignore the importance of using masks in public places, sometimes masks are used not in accordance with justified recommendations. For this reason, research is proposed which will later produce a system that can detect whether someone has used a mask correctly. The system was developed using a deep learning method using a convolutional neural network (CNN). CNN will classify data objects in the form of images / user images and determine whether they are wearing masks correctly or not. The output of the system in the form of audio will be delivered through speakers installed adjacent to the camera which will scan the user's face.

Abstract

The Sedekah Showcase is one of the organizations that organizes donations where this institution provides a forum for the community to distribute donations, which will later be distributed to the people in need who are registered. In analyzing the Donation Information System and ZIS (Zakat, Infaq, Alms) there are 6 aspects of system analysis needed, namely Performance (Performance), Information (Information), Economy (Economic), Control (Control), Efficiency (Efficiency), and Service ( services). In the donation information system and ZIS Etalase Sedekah, the actors involved are system administrators, donors, and volunteers. Information System for Receiving Donations and Zakat, Infaq and Alms (ZIS) at the Sedekah Showcase of Padang City Based on the Laravel Web Framework includes management of receiving donations and ZIS transactions as well as transaction history, periodic reporting of transactions, surveys of Beneficiaries, data management of Donors, Volunteers , and Beneficiaries. PHP programming language using Laravel framework and database using MySQL and using DOMPDF in designing e-reports.

Abstract

Padang City as the Capital of West Sumatra Province is the main gate of various types of trade commodities in the country. Padang is also a trading center in West Sumatra. Based on BPS data in 2016, there are 17 markets in Padang City with 8 markets managed by the community and 9 markets managed by the City Government of Padang. To assist the community in providing information on the prices of food commodities, a web-based information system is needed that provides information on the price of food commodities (especially basic food) for markets in the city of Padang. Through this information system, the public can find out the price of food commodities by grouping: per-commodity, per-market, and prices at a certain time period. The information system in the form of this website was created using the Laravel 5.5 framework which is one of the breakthroughs in the field of web programming. The Laravel Framework makes it easy for application developers to create web-based information systems. This information system is developed using the Waterfall method where development begins with the analysis, design, implementation, and testing stages.

Abstract

This research aims to create an Android-based E-Tourism application which aims to make it easier for the public to find important locations around the city of Kuala Tungkal where this application will be able to recommend the place being sought based on the closest distance from the user. In this final project, the android application is made using the Android Studio with the Java programming language. And the API is made using PHP. While in the database section using MySQL. At the end of this final project, the android application will be able to display the location and location details and can sort the location from the closest distance from the user standing

Abstract

The use of technology in various fields can provide convenience in life, especially in electronic equipment, namely lamps. The use of lights occurs during the day and night with excessive intensity of use can lead to waste of electrical energy in the house. Therefore, it is necessary to have a tool capable of checking the condition of lights using light sensors, current sensors and voltage sensors. The lamp condition check tool applied in the house is expected to make it easier for the occupants of the house to know the information on the condition of the lights in the house when left behind and can be accessed on the website so as to minimize the use of electricity in the house.

Abstract

The need for food is one of the main human needs. In the era of the COVID-19 pandemic, one of the businesses that has survived is the business of providing food or culinary. With the advancement of technology, various media and methods have been successfully developed to market food products. The catering business is a business that is quite popular in the culinary field. In the city of Padang there are more than 30 catering businesses but most of them still do traditional marketing. So far, the process of searching and ordering catering in the city of Padang is still using a manual system, through advertisements in mass media and electronic media as well as through word of mouth promotion systems. This study aims to build an application that provides catering information. The research was conducted using the waterfall method which resulted in an application built with the android platform so that it can be accessed by users using smartphones. This application has succeeded in providing information about a list of menu options, prices and equipped with ordering features and location search features.

Abstract

This fire detection system provides a fire early warning. This system works using both fire sensor and temperature sensor that is connected to Arduino UNO and Ethernet shield as a link to the internet network. All data obtained by the sensor will be saved in the database. If the data obtained by the sensor reaches a predetermined condition there will be a notification in the form of the system location and notification in the form of text messages to the user smartphone application. Abstract

Koperasi Mandiri dan Merdeka (KMDM) merupakan sebuah usaha untuk menciptakan Pasar Rabu Tani yang digerakkan sejumlah akademisi Universitas Andalas (Unand). Penyelenggaraan Pasar Rabu Tani bertujuan untuk menyediakan kebutuhan pangan sehat bagi para konsumen terutama para Dosen dan Tenaga Pendidikan di Kampus Universitas Andalas dan juga masyarakat umum lainnya. Dalam pengelolaannya saat ini, Koperasi MDM melakukan pemasaran produk dengan menggunakan google form, whatsapp, dan instagram. Google Form digunakan sebagai form pemesanan produk pada Pasar Rabu tani. Penggunaan Google Form memiliki kelemahan, yaitu tidak ada kelengkapan persyaratan toko online, seperti form konfirmasi pembayaran, pemilihan metode pembayaran, metode pengiriman, edit profil pengguna, dan lainnya. Hal ini mengakibatkan sering terjadinya kekeliruan terhadap pemesanan suatu produk. Sehingga dibutuhkan sebuah sistem yang baik dalam pengelolan Toko Online pada Koperasi MDM agar keakuratan data terjamin dan dibutuhkan sistem berbasis E-Commerce yang lebih informatif bagi konsumen serta sistem yang dapat menghasilkan laporan yang memudahkan pengelola dalam mengambil keputusan. Sistem yang diusulkan tim pada mitra adalah sebuah sistem berbasis web untuk mengelola toko online yang berbasis E-Commerce. Dengan adanya sistem ini dapat meminimalisir kesalahan yang terjadi dan pemanfaatan teknologi informasi di bidang perekonomian dapat direalisasikan. Selain itu dengan adanya sistem ini akan menjadi hal yang baik bagi masyarakat dalam memenuhi kebutuhan pangan dengan tetap dirumah saja tetapi dapat berbelanja kebutuhan pangan sehat dengan cepat dan tepat. Sistem yang diusulkan ini akan dibuat oleh mitra sendiri melalui pelatihan yang akan dilaksanakan pada kegiatan ini
