Abstract

Every business or organization needs human resources (HR) to function effectively. Companies must be able to maximize both their use of and management of their human resources. Employee performance expectations, which must be met in order for the organization to succeed, are inextricably linked to human resource management. Employees are a company's most valuable asset and play an important part in it as thinkers, planners, and controllers of business operations, thus it is important to take care of them. Employees with a high level of discipline are good employees. This study attempts to ascertain the simultaneous or partial effects of pay and loyalty on the work discipline of one of commercial banks in Indonesia. All employees served as the sample in this study, which used a purposive sampling technique. This study's technique of analysis involves multiple linear regression. The findings of the F test indicate that the pay and loyalty variables concurrently have a positive and substantial impact on employee work discipline, as indicated by the F value of 0.000 < 0.05. The pay and loyalty variables both have a positive and substantial impact, as shown by the t test. R Square corrected to 0.559.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to calculate Indonesia's electronic export potential to 14 countries during the period 2007-2022 using a panel-gravity approach using the PPML technique. The results of this study confirm the positive and significant relationship between Indonesia's electronics exports and the main component of the gravity model, namely Indonesia's GDP and trading partners. Another variability is the economic openness of trading partners has a positive relationship and exchange rates have a positive but not significant relationship. Variability of distance, and trade agreements have a negative relationship with Indonesia's electronic exports. The results for electronic export potential show that Indonesian electronics still have a lot of leverage to increase its exports to 9 countries. Thus, the position of the electronics industry as a potential industry can be carried out by targeting these countries. But to capitalize on the potential benefits of electronics exports, policymakers need to strengthen infrastructure and regulations related to the electronics industry.

Abstract

This study investigates the effect of workplace facilities, workload management, and job flexibility on employee job satisfaction in insurance companies in Indonesia. A quantitative research approach was employed, involving 75 respondents from various insurance firms. Data were collected using a structured questionnaire based on a 5-point Likert scale and analyzed using SPSS version 26. Pearson correlation and multiple regression analysis were used to assess the relationships between the variables. The results show that all three independent variables—workplace facilities, workload management, and job flexibility—have a significant positive effect on employee job satisfaction. Among them, workplace facilities had the strongest influence, followed by job flexibility and workload management. The model explained 60.3% of the variance in job satisfaction, highlighting the critical role these factors play in enhancing employee morale and retention. The findings provide practical insights for insurance companies to improve job satisfaction by focusing on creating supportive work environments, managing workloads effectively, and offering flexible work arrangements.
