Abstract

Abstract The global agreement at the UN COP-26 meeting urges all countries to gradually phase out the use of raw coal. Therefore, coal downstreaming is necessary. The coal product industry (KBLI 19100) in Indonesia will have a growing significance in the times ahead. However, currently, the concentration of the coal product industry is still high due to the limited number of companies in this sector. This study aims to analyze the impact of industry concentration and input costs on efficiency in the coal product industry (KBLI 19100) in Indonesia. The data used are secondary data sourced from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) from 2010-2021, using a regression model to test the influence of independent variables on industrial efficiency. The results of this study indicate that industry concentration and input costs have a significant negative effect on efficiency. This means that if industry concentration and input costs increase, efficiency will decrease. Abstrak Kesepakatan dunia pada rapat PBB COP-26 menghimbau untuk seluruh negara memberhentikan penggunaan batu bara mentah secara bertahap. Oleh karena itu, perlu adanya hilirisasi batu bara. Industri produk dari batu bara (KBLI 19100) di Indonesia akan memiliki peran semakin penting kedepannya. Walaupun untuk saat ini, konsentrasi industri produk dari batu bara masih tinggi akibat sedikitnya jumlah perusahaan industri produk dari batu bara. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh konsentrasi industri dan biaya input terhadap efisiensi di industri produk dari batu bara (KBLI 19100) di Indonesia. Data yang digunakan adalah data sekunder yang bersumber dari Badan Pusat Statistik (BPS) tahun 2010-2021 dengan menggunakan model regresi untuk menguji pengaruh variabel-variabel independen terhadap efisiensi industri. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa konsentrasi industri dan biaya input berpengaruh negatif signifikan terhadap efisiensi. Berarti bahwa apabila konsentrasi industri dan biaya input meningkat, maka efisiensi akan semakin rendah.

Abstract

This article was written with the aim of analyzing the behavior of high school students and all of their factors during history learning during the Covid-19 pandemic, so that knowing the history learning behavior of high school students and responses from high school teachers related to student behavior in the history learning process during the Covid-19 pandemic and analyzing how the reinforcement measures carried out by high school teachers towards students and the effect felt during online learning. The research method used was descriptive qualitative. The subjects of the study were research articles related to students' historical learning behavior during the Covid-19 pandemic, The sample of research articles is 26 journals consisting of national journals and international journals. The results of this study were 1) forms of student behavior in various history lessons; 2) student behavior is influenced by the creativity ability of teachers and the role of the family, and 3) The history teacher provides reinforcement during the online history learning process to students. The conclusion of this study is to maximize the history learning behavior of high school students during the pandemic has 5 (five) aspects learning and management of teaching in the Covid-19 era, know the benefits of learning history using Google classroom, increasing the effectiveness of the teaching and learning process during the Covid-19 Pandemic, the role of families in accompanying student, and increase student activeness in taking online learning.

Abstract

Peran komunikasi dalam proses pemasaran sangat penting untuk membantu memasarkan produk. Komunikasi pemasaran adalah sarana yang dilakukan dalam membantu menginformasikan, mempromosikan, dan membujuk konsumen agar menggunakan produk yang dipasarkan. Dalam era digital ini, pemasaran tidak hanya dilakukan secara langsung. Sudah banyak cara dan media yang dapat digunakan dalam membantu memasarkan suatu barang ataupun jasa. Pada penelitian kali ini, peneliti tertarik untuk membantu salah satu UMKM yang menjual makanan ringan yaitu kempelang tunu yang ada di Baturaja. Dalam pemasarannya peneliti menggunakan bauran komunikasi pemasaran berupa personal selling, direct marketing, dan advertising. Bauran komunikasi pemasaran tersebut dilakukan melalui media sosial Instagram dan facebook. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data secara observasi yang akan diolah secara deskriptif.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian tentang pengelolaan dana ZISWaf masjid pintar bagi perangkat atau aparatur masjid bertujuan untuk memberikan pengetahuan tentang pengelolaan dana ZISWaf sehingga dapat mensejahterakan masyarakat desa, mengatur perekonomian masyarakat sekitar yang berlandaskan pada ajaran prinsip Islam serta dapat memperoleh pemahaman mengenai ZISWaf yakni Zakat, Infaq, Sadaqoh dan Wakaf baik dari praktek perhitungan  ZISWaf maupun dari segi pemahaman dan pembagian tentang ZISWaf.  Metode yang diterapkan dalam kegiatan ini adalah metode coaching dan bimbingan secara holistik step by step. Dari hasil yang dicapai terlihat bahwa pemahaman para peserta tentang ZISWaf masih belum sesuai yang diharapkan dikarenakan para peserta rata-rata masih terpaku dengan sistem manual dan ketidaktahuan mereka tentang pembagian ZISWaf baik jenis nya maupun perhitungannya. Diharapkan agar kedepanya pendampingan ini dirasakan manfaatnya untuk meningkatkan pemahaman mereka tentang ZISWaf.

Abstract

Kemampuan berwirausaha harus dioptimalkan dan dimaksimalkan sejak dini, karena berwirausaha merupakan salah satu kunci penting untuk dapat menunjang kehidupan masa depan yang lebih baik dari segi ekonomi dan sosial masyarakat karena adanya peningkatan pendapatan. Namun, masih banyak potensi dan ide kreatif yang belum tergali secara optimal. Oleh karena itu, penyuluhan dan pelatihan kewirausahaan akan sangat bermanfaat untuk memberikan edukasi tentang pentingnya jiwa wirausaha sehingga tercipta wirausaha baru dan diharapkan kesejahteraan masyarakat meningkat serta memberikan pelatihan dan pendidikan kepada masyarakat sehingga agar mereka dapat mengetahui dan menemukan peluang usaha yang dapat dikembangkan dan dapat merencanakan usaha. Oleh karena itu, masyarakat Desa Ulak Kembahang II membutuhkan pelatihan kewirausahaan agar masyarakat sadar akan pentingnya memiliki jiwa wirausaha dalam rangka menciptakan kemandirian dan membantu masyarakat untuk memperoleh sumber pendapatan lain dengan menggunakan metode Focus Group Discussion dan pendistribusian kuesioner. Hasil pelatihan dan pendidikan kepada masyarakat agar dapat mengetahui tentang kewirausahaan, peluang usaha, dan perencanaan usaha yang dapat dikembangkan telah berjalan dengan baik, terbukti dengan tingkat pemahaman materi yang telah diberikan sebesar 89,73% dari 25 peserta.

Abstract

Zakat, infaq, shadaqah dan wakaf (ZISWAF) menjadi contoh instrumen dalam mensejahterakan umat dan membangun suatu Negara. Dalam rangka meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan pengelolaan ZISWAF dan literasi keuangan Islam, maka perlu dilakukan kegiatan baik yang bersifat pemberdayaan dan pendampingan. Untuk itu tim pengabdian masyarakat Fakultas Ekonomi Univesitas Sriwijaya melakukan upaya meningkatkan kompetensi pengurus masjid desa binaan Universitas Sriwijaya yaitu Desa Ulak Kembahang II Kecamatan Pemulutan Barat Kabupaten Ogan Ilir dalam menjalankan pengelolaan dana ZISWAF. Adapun rangkaian kegiatan pengabdian berupa sosialisasi dan edukasi tentang dana ZISWAF,  edukasi prinsip dasar dan konsep keuangan Islam, lembaga keuangan Islam serta kontrak (akad) dan produk dan jasa lembaga keuangan Islam. Hasil pengabdian menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata 82.86 persen peserta telah memahami materi keuangan Syariah, sementara 86.40 persen peserta sudah memahami materi ZISWAF. Sebanyak 52 peserta menunjukkan kesetujuan bahwa materi yang disampaikan oleh narasumber dalam kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini sangat relevan dengan kegiatan yang dilaksanakan.

Abstract

Diabetic kidney disease is a condition characterized by persistent albuminuria, diabetic glomerular lesions, and a reduced glomerular filtration rate in people with diabetes. Peptides in Cucumaria frondosa coelomic fluid have been proven to provide antidiabetic and anti-inflammatory activity that can be used as one of the innovations in developing a multitarget therapy, especially in diabetic kidney disease. Therefore, the aim of this study was to unravel the power of peptide-based metabolites from C. frondosa coelomic fluid as multitarget therapy for diabetic kidney disease using an in-silico study. UCSF Chimera software was utilized to construct the three-dimensional structure of coelomic fluid peptides from C. frondosa. The toxicity and allergenicity of peptides were examined using the ToxinPred and AllerTop websites, respectively. From the PDBJ database, the 3D structures of protein kinase B, alpha isoform (AKT1); vascular endothelial growth factor receptor 2 (VEGFR2); epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR); α-glucosidase; and glucokinase were obtained. Molecular docking was carried out using MOE Software. In this in-silico study, peptide 9 (-10.32 kcal/mol), peptide 1 (-9.41 kcal/mol), and peptide 3 (-9.55 kcal/mol) were shown to act as specific adenosine triphosphate-competitive inhibitors of EGFR, AKT1, and VEGFR2, respectively. Peptide 8 (-11.06 kcal/mol) can specifically inhibit α-glucosidase by binding to its active site. Peptide 1 (-9.80 kcal/mol) is predicted to specifically inhibit glucokinase activity by blocking its active side. Molecular dynamics simulations confirmed stable interactions with receptor proteins. In conclusion, C. frondosa coelomic fluid peptides have been shown not only to alleviate diabetic kidney disease but also to stabilize blood glucose levels and prevent hyperglycemia based on in-silico analysis.

Abstract

ABSTRACT. This study aims to determine the growth performance and carcass quality of three different Kampung chicken species (KUB Kampung Chicken, Merawang Chicken, and In-ovo Feeding Kampung Chicken). This research was conducted at the CV. Bittara Wanua in Soppeng Regency. The study followed a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with three treatments and five replication plots. Each replication plot contained 5 chickens.  The treatments namely: P1 uses KUB chicken, P2 uses Merawang chicken, and P3 uses Kampung chicken from in-ovo feeding. The parameters observed were growth performance including body weight gain, feed consumption, and feed conversion, while carcass quality includes carcass percentage, breast percentage, upper thigh percentage, lower thigh percentage, wing percentage, and back percentage. The results showed that treatment had a significant effect (P<0.05) on body weight gain, feed conversion, breast percentage, lower thigh percentage, and back percentage. Still, they had no effect (P>0.05) on feed consumption, carcass percentage, upper thigh percentage, and wing percentage. It could be concluded that KUB chicken has the best growth performance and carcass quality because it has fast growth, low feed conversion, and a high percentage of carcass parts of the breast compared to other types of native chickens.

Abstract

This Research aims to design and implement a shortest route determination system for natural and culinary tourism locations in North Aceh using the Ant Colony Optimization (AntCO) algorithm. The developed system is designed to help tourists plan their trips efficiently by considering the distance and travel time between tourist destinations. The system implementation using the AntCO algorithm successfully displayed optimal routes for 28 tourist destinations in North Aceh. The system successfully implemented filtering features based on tourism categories and route visualization on an interactive map using different markers (green for natural tourism and red for culinary tourism). The research results show that the system successfully optimized tourist travel routes and provided comprehensive information, including automatic location detection, a list of tourist destinations, travel route details, and optimal visit sequences based on selected tourism categories. This system proved effective in helping tourists plan their trips in North Aceh by providing efficient routes according to their preferred tourism category preferences.

Abstract

Kampung chickens are one of the most widely raised types of poultry in Indonesia and have high genotype and phenotype variations. This study aimed to identify phenotypic variations of Kampung chickens in Kalemago Village, East Lore District, Poso Regency, Central Sulawesi. This study was conducted to understand the variations in quantitative and qualitative traits in Kampung chickens in the Poso Regency. Quantitative traits observed include body weight, back length, chest circumference, length of upper thigh bone, lower thigh bone, and shank, while qualitative traits include feather color, comb type, beak color, and shank color. Measurements were conducted on male and female Kampung chicken populations. The results of the study showed significant diversity in quantitative and qualitative traits of Kampung chickens in Kalemago Village, which can be used as a basis for breeding programs to increase Kampung chicken productivity.
