Abstract

The poultry manure and vertisols matter have potency for reclaiming a soil. The research objectives was to study the effect of poultry manure (PM) and vertisols matter (VM) on availability and leaching of macro nutrient in coastal sandy soil treated by rainfall simulation. A laboratory experiment was conducted with lesymeters to measure nutrient leaching. The factorial 4 × 4 treatment applied was arranged by randomized completely block design with three replications. The first factor was level of PM consisted of 0, 20, 40, and 60 Mg ha-1. The second one wasthe level of VM consisted of 0, 5, 10, and 15%. Variables observed were soil physical and chemical properties such as bulk density (BD), particle density (PD), porosity, pF 2.54, pF 4.2, available water capacity (AWC), permeability, cation exchange capacity (CEC), available macro nutrients (N, P, K, Ca, Mg, and S) by Morgan Wolf extraction, and the rate of macro nutrient leaching measuared by Spectrophotometry and Atomic Absorption Spectrophotometry. Result of the research showed that application of PM and VM in the sandy soil decreased soil PD and BD, increased soil porosity and AWC, decreased soil permeability, and slightly increased soil CEC. Application of PM and VM increased soil available nutrient in the sandy soil. Up to 60 Mg ha-1 dose PM increased soil available nutrient, while 10 to 15% dose, VM did not increased it. The rank of nutrient leaching from high to low by rain simulation was N-NO3 -> SO4 = > K+ > Ca2+. Leaching of K and N-NH4+ could be reduced by soil amendment. Combination of PM 60 Mg ha-1 and VM 10% was the best soil amendment for increasing nutrient availability and decreasing nutrient leaching in the sandy soil.Keywords: available nutrient, coastal sandy soil, leaching, poultry manure, vertisols matter

Abstract

The rapid advancement of educational technology, particularly in vocational education, has opened new opportunities to address learning challenges in complex technical subjects. This study aims to analyze the needs and design Augmented Reality (AR)-based learning media for the Digital Electronics subject using the Project-Based Learning (PjBL) model. The AR media is designed to assist students in understanding abstract and complex concepts in Digital Electronics, such as logic circuits and digital systems, in an interactive and visual manner. The research method employed is Research and Development (R&D) following the ADDIE development model, which includes the stages of analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. Needs analysis results indicate that students face difficulties in understanding digital electronics concepts without additional visualization. Furthermore, both teachers and students expressed high interest in using AR technology to support a more effective and engaging learning process. PjBL-based AR media is expected to enhance students’ conceptual understanding and practical skills in Digital Electronics, as well as provide a deeper learning experience through applicative projects. By demonstrating this synergy between AR and PjBL, the study establishes a foundation for integrating immersive technologies into science and technology education, thereby enriching conceptual understanding while cultivating critical thinking, creativity, and other essential 21st-century competencies.

Abstract

The entrepreneurial spirit within Chinese-Indonesian families has long been recognized as a factor in their economic resilience, yet the educational patterns that transmit this spirit across generations remain underexplored. This study aims to examine how family-based education fosters entrepreneurial character among Chinese youth in Surakarta, focusing on the interplay of cultural values, practical immersion, and adaptive strategies. The central research question asks: How do educational practices within Chinese-Indonesian families contribute to cultivating entrepreneurial spirit in the next generation? This research employs a qualitative approach using thematic analysis to interpret data gathered through in-depth interviews, observations, and documentation. The findings reveal three major themes: first, practical immersion as pedagogy, where children are engaged in family business tasks from an early age to internalize perseverance, discipline, and interpersonal competence; second, familial trust and solidarity as social capital, where kinship bonds and moral values of honesty, responsibility, and integrity sustain intergenerational continuity; and third, the negotiation of formal education, experiential learning, and technology, where families balance schooling with hands-on practice and cautiously integrate digital tools as both opportunities and risks. The study concludes that entrepreneurial education in Chinese-Indonesian families is not merely an economic strategy, but a cultural and ethical practice embedded in family life. Theoretically, this study shows that entrepreneurial spirit is socially enacted within kinship structures rather than taught solely in schools. Practically, the findings suggest that entrepreneurship programs can be strengthened through family-based approaches that emphasize early immersion, trust, ethics, and guided use of technology.

Abstract

The effect of observing entrepreneurial role models on critical thinking skills in entrepreneurship learning. Objectives: This research analyzes a PBL model by observing an entrepreneurial role model's effect on the critical thinking skills in entrepreneurship learning at Vocational High School. Methods: This study uses quasi-experimental research with a quantitative approach. The total population in this study was 463 students, and a sample of 60 students was obtained using a simple random sampling technique which was divided into two groups. This study uses an instrument essay questions tests in the form of pre-test and post-test. t-test analysis was conducted to test the hypothesis with a significance level of 5%. Findings: The results of the paired sample t-test obtained sig (2 tailed) 0.000 < 0.05. Thus rejecting H0 and accepting Ha. Abstract

SMK kearifan lokal Tri Hita Karana (THK) adalah sekolah kejuruan yang menerapkan karakter keharmonisan antara warga sekolah dengan sang pencipta Tuhan Yang Mahaesa, keharmonisan antar sesama warga sekolah, dan keharmonisan antara warga sekolah dengan lingkungan sarana dan prasarana sekolah secara keseluruhan. Pendidikan kejuruan di SMK berbasis kearifan lokal THK dapat mengantisipasi dampak negatif instrusi budaya global, karena THK telah menjadi "taksu" atau modal sosiokultural spiritual dan falsafah hidup masyarakat Bali. Pendidikan kejuruan berbasis kearifan lokal THK perlu dikembangkan secara sistematis untuk meningkatkan keunggulan lokal, kepentingan nasional, keadilan, dan kompetisi antarbangsa dalam peradaban dunia. Pengembangan SMK kearifan lokal THK didasarkan atas kebijakan pemerintah berupa UU nomor 20 Tahun 2003, PP 19 Tahun 2005, PerMenDiknas nomor 63 Tahun 2009, dan Perda Provinsi Bali nomor 16 Tahun 2009. Dengan menerapkan kearifan lokal THK, SMK dapat berkembang sebagai pusat pembudayaan kompetensi, menjadi basis pengembangan karakter dan kepribadian sumber daya insani (SDI) dengan ketrampilan kerja tinggi, budaya kerja dan budaya belajar yang kuat, serta budaya melayani orang secara tulus dan wajar. Pendidikan kejuruan berbasis kearifan lokal THK dapat melahirkan manusia yang memiliki kemampuan mengelola hidupnya dengan baik, benar, dan wajar. VOCATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL INDIGENOUS TRI HITA KARANAAbstractVocational High School (VHS) indigenous Tri Hita Karana (THK) is a vocational school that implements character harmony between the school community with the creator God Almighty, harmony among the school community, and the harmony between the school community with the school facilities and infrastructure as a whole. VHS based on local wisdom THK can anticipate the negative impact of global cultural entrusion, because THK has become "taksu" or sociocultural-spiritual capital and philosophy of life of the Balinese people. Vocational education based on local wisdom THK should be developed systematically to promote the local excellence, national interest, justice, and the competition between nations in the world civilization. Development of VHS local wisdom THK based on the government policy in UU nomor 20 Tahun 2003, PP 19 Tahun 2005, PerMenDiknas nomor 63 Tahun 2009, and Perda Provinsi Bali nomor 16 Tahun 2009. By applying local wisdom THK, VHS can develop as a center of competence cultivation, the basis for the development of character and personality of human resource with high job skills, strong a work culture and learning culture, and a culture of serving the people sincerely and reasonable. Vocational education based on local wisdom THK, can deliver humans who have the ability to manage his life with the good, true, and fair.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui: nilai-nilai karakter, proses penanaman, faktor pendukung dan penghambat dalam penanaman nilai-nilai karakter siswa SMK Salafiyah Kajen. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif fenomenologi. Pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik interviu, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan analisis interaktif model Miles & Huberman. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan (1) Nilai-nilai yang ditanamkan di SMK Salafiyah adalah nilai-nilai karakter Islam berbasis pondok pesantren; (2) Proses penanaman nilai-nilai pendidikan karakter di SMK Salafiyah melalui konteks mikro dan konteks makro. Konteks mikro: integrasi nilai karakter dengan setiap mata pelajaran dan muatan lokal, budaya sekolah, dan kegiatan pengembangan diri. Konteks makro: keluarga, sekolah dan masyarakat; dan (3) Faktor pendukung dan pengambat: (a) faktor pendukung: SMK Salafiyah mempunyai SDM yang memadai, siswa SMK Salafiyah mayoritas di pondok pesantren, adanya sinergitas antara lingkungan keluarga, sekolah, dan masyarakat. (b) faktor penghambat: terbatasnya sarana dan prasarana, perbedaan pemahaman, belum adanya satu pondok pesantren, apatisme masyarakat terhadap SMK berbasis pondok pesantren. INCULCATING THE CHARACTER VALUES OF THE STUDENT OF SMK SALAFIYAH OF EXPERTISE PROGRAM CTN KAJEN, MARGOYOSO, PATI, JAWA TENGAHAbstractThe objectives of this research are to find out: (1) the character education values, (2) the inculcation process of the character education values, and (3) the obstacles in inculcating the character education values at SMK Salafiyyah Kajen.This research was conducted used the fenomenological qualitative approach. The data were collected through interviu, partisipative observation, and document analysis. The data analysis was conducted by having interactive analysis of Miles and Huberman model. The results of this research are as folows. First, the values inculcated at SMK Salafiyyah are the Islamic character education based on the Islamic boarding school. Second, the inculcation process of character education values at SMK Salafiyyah is through micro-context and macro-context. The micro-context includes the integration of each subject and local content, school culture, and self-development activities. The macro-context includes family, school, and society. Third, the supporting factors and the obstacling factors. The supporting factors are SMK Salafiyah has the human resource, the student majority live in Islamic boarding school, and SMK Salafiyah has the synergy between the family, school and society. The obstacling factors are the shortage of infrastucture, the differences of understanding of character education, and unavailability of boarding school for the students, the publicapathy of SMK education based on the Islamic boarding school.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan, mengembangkan dan menghasilkan perangkat pembelajaran yang mampu melatihkan keterampilan generik komunikasi bernegosiasi siswa SMK dengan menggunakan metode 4D. Penelitian R&D ini dilaksanakan di SMKN 4 Surakarta yaitu pada siswa kelas X Program Keahlian Tata Busana. Tahapan pengembangan perangkat terdiri dari empat fase yaitu define, design, develop, dan disseminate. Tahap define mencakup kegiatan studi pustaka dan survey lapangan untuk keperluan identifikasi masalah dan need analysis, tahap design mencakup kegiatan perancangan produk awal, tahap develop mencakup kegiatan validasi pakar, revisi produk, ujicoba satu-satu dan kelompok kecil, sedangkan tahap disseminate mencakup kegiatan sosialisasi lapangan dan revisi produk akhir. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah teknik observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi, dan angket. Analisis data menggunakan teknik analisis deskriptif secara kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan: (1) metode 4D merupakan metode yang fisibel dan efektif untuk digunakan dalam mengembangkan perangkat pembelajaran keterampilan generik komunikasi bernegosiasi; dan (2) perangkat pembelajaran yang dihasilkan mampu mengajarkan dan melatih keterampilan generik komunikasi bernegosiasi siswa kelas X SMKN 4 Surakarta. THE TEACHING DEVICES DEVELOPMENT OF GENERIC NEGOTIATION COMMUNICATION SKILL OF SMK STUDENTS USING 4D METHODAbstractThe study aims to describe, develop and produce teaching devices which will be able to teach and train the generic negotiation communication skills of SMK students using 4D methods. This study is carried out in SMK 4 Surakarta class X Fashion Design Study Program. The stages of development consist of four phases, namely the define, design, development, and dissemination. Define phase includes the activities of literature studies and field surveys for the purposes of identification of the problem and need analysis. Design phase includes the initial product design activities. Develop stage includes expert validation activities, product revision, one to one evaluation and small groups evaluation. Field disseminate phase include socialization and revision of the final product. The data collection techniques are observation, interviews, documentation, and questionnaires. The data analyses techniques use descriptive quantitative and qualitative analysis techniques. The results show: (1) 4D method is feasible and effective in developing the teaching devices of negotiation generic skills; and (2) the resulting teaching devices are able to teach and train the generic communication skills to negotiate class X SMK 4 Surakarta.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi uji kompetensi siswa keahlian multimedia di SMK SeKota Yogyakarta, ditinjau dari aspek: (1) context; (2) input; (3) process; (4) product; dan (5) CIPP secara akumulatif. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada delapan SMK di kota Yogyakarta. Populasi adalah asesor, yang berjumlah 44 orang. Sampel dengan sampel jenuh (total). Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan angket. Uji validitas dengan validitas isi melalui expert judgement, validitas konstruk dengan uji terbatas, dan dianalisis dengan korelasi Product Moment. Uji reliabilitas menggunakan Alpha Cronbach. Teknik analisis data dengan analisis deskriptif. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa uji kompetensi siswa keahlian multimedia di SMK Se-Kota Yogyakarta ditinjau dari aspek: (1) context termasuk kategori sangat sesuai (84,7%); (2) input termasuk dalam kategori sangat sesuai (87,61%); (3) process termasuk kategori sangat baik (89,94%); (4) product termasuk kategori sangat baik (82,78%); (5) CIPP secara akumulatif termasuk kategori sangat baik (86,62%). EVALUATION OF MULTIMEDIA SKILLS STUDENTS COMPETENCY TEST IN SMK YOGYAKARTAAbstractThis study aims to evaluate the multimedia skills students competency test in SMK Yogyakarta, in terms of (1) aspects of the context; (2) the input; (3) the process; (4) the product; and (5) CIPP aspects cumulatively. This study was conducted at eight vocational schools in the city of Yogyakarta. The population was assessors, amounting to 44 people. The sample used saturated or total sample. Data collection techniques used questionnaires. Test validity of the content validity is expert judgment and construct validity with product moment correlation formula. Test reliability was carried out with Alpha Cronbach. The data analysis technique used is descriptive analysis. The results of the study show that the multimedia skills students competency test in SMK Yogyakarta in terms of (1) aspects of the context fall into the very appropriate category (84.7 %); (2) the input are in the very appropriate category (87.61%); (3) the process are the excellent category (89.94%); (4 ) the product are the excellent category (82.78 %); (5) aspects of CIPP cumulatively are the excellent category (86.62%).

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan pengaruh strategi pembelajaran, gaya belajar peserta didik, sarana praktik, dan media pembelajaran terhadap hasil belajar Patiseri di SMK SeGerbangkertasusila. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian expostfacto yang bertujuan untuk menjelaskan pengaruh strategi pembelajaran, gaya belajar peserta didik, sarana praktik, dan media pembelajaran terhadap hasil belajar Patiseri di SMK Se- Gerbangkertasusila.. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SMK Se-Gerbangkertasusila yang mempunyai program studi patiseri. Sampel penelitian ini sebanyak 337 siswa. Pengumpulan data melalui angket. Analisa data yang digunakan adalah analisi regresi dan korelasi dengan taraf kesalahan 0,05. Hasil penelitian ini adalah sebagai berikut. 1) Sebanyak 51,04% siswa berpendapat bahwa strategi pembelajaran di SMK Se-Gerbangkertasusila berkategori sedang; 65,58% siswa memiliki gaya belajar berkategori sedang; 53,71% siswa berpendapat bahwa sarana praktik berkategori sedang, 47,18% siswa berpendapat bahwa media pembelajaran berkategori sedang; dan 62,31% siswa memiliki nilai di rapor berkategori sangat tinggi. 2)Ada pengaruh positif dan signifikan antara strategi pembelajaran terhadap hasil belajar mereka (rx1y = 0,735; p< 0,005); ada pengaruh positif dan signifikan antara gaya belajar siswa terhadap hasil belajar(rx2y = 0,567; p< 0,005); terdapat pengaruh positif dan signifikan antara sarana praktik terhadap hasil belajar rx3y = 0,222; p< 0,005); terdapat pengaruh positif dan signifikan antara media pembelajaran terhadap hasil belajar (rx4y = 0,735; p< 0,005); terdapat pengaruh positif dan signifikan secara bersama-sama antara strategi pembelajaran, gaya belajar, sarana praktik, dan media pembelajaran terhadap hasil belajar (rx1,x2,x3,x4,y = 0,749; p< 0,005). THE EFFECT OF STUDENT'S LEARNING STRATEGIES, LEARNING STYLES, PRACTICE FACILITIES, AND MEDIA ON LEARNING OUTCOMES OF VOCATIONAL PASTRY AND BAKERY IN GERBANGKERTASUSILAAbstractThis study aimed to describe the effect of student's learning strategies, learning styles , practice facilities, and instructional media on learning outcomes in vocational pastry and bakery in Gerbangkertasusila.This research is expostfacto research to describe effect of student's learning strategies, learning styles , practice facilities, and instructional media on learning outcomes in vocational pastry and bakery in Gerbangkertasusila.. This research was conducted at SMK Gerbangkertasusila having patiseridepartment. The sample was 337 students establised using a questionnairetechnique. The data were collected through questionnaires. Data analyze using correlation and regretation with correction 0,05. The results of the study are as follows :1) As many as 51.04 % of students found learning strategies in SMK Gerbangkertasusila being in a fair category; 65.58 % students have a moderate learning style category, 53.71 % of students found the practicum facilitiesbeing in afaircategory; 47.18 % of students found the instructional media being in afaircategory and 62.31 % of students have veryhigh grades in their report books.2) There is a positive and significant correlation between the learning strategies on student learning outcomes in patiseriCatering Skills Program SMK Gerbangkertasusila (rx1y = 0.735, p < 0.005); there a positive and significant correlation between students' learning styles on learning their outcomes (rx2y = 0.567, p < 0.005), there is a positive and significant correlation between the practicum facilities on students learning outcomes (rx3y = 0.222 , p < 0.005), there is a positive and significant correlation between instructional media on the students' learning outcomes (rx4y = 0.735, p < 0.005), there is a positive and significant effect oflearning strategies, learning styles, practicum facilities, and instructional media in aggregate on the students' learning outcomes (rx1,x2,x3,x4,y = 0.749, p < 0.005).

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: (1) menghasilkan multimedia pembelajaran interaktif kompetensi dasar pemasangan sistem penerangan dan wiring kelistrikan; (2) mengetahui kualitas multimedia pembelajaran interaktif; dan (3) mengetahui efektifitas multimedia pembelajaran interaktif kompetensi dasar pemasangan sistem penerangan dan wiring kelistrikan pada kelas XI SMK bidang keahlian Teknik Kendaraan Ringan. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian dan pengembangan. Validasi multimedia dilakukan oleh ahli materi dan ahli media. Subjek uji coba penelitian ini adalah 32 siswa kelas XI SMKN 2 Depok, Sleman, Yogyakarta bidang keahlian Teknik Kendaraan Ringan. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah: (1) produk multimedia pembelajaran interaktif kompetensi dasar pemasangan sistem penerangan dan wiring kelistrikan layak digunakan; (2) kualitas multimedia interaktif ini sangat baik, hasil penilaian ahli ditinjau dari pembelajaran 66 (baik), isi sebesar 54 (baik), aspek tampilan 97 (baik), dan program 50 (baik), sedangkan hasil dari penilaian peserta didik uji coba lapangan pada aspek pembelajaran1277 (sangat baik), isi 1195 (sangat baik), tampilan 1562 (sangat baik), dan pemograman 519 (sangat baik); (3) Produk multimedia pembelajaran interaktif kompetensi dasar pemasangan sistem penerangan dan wiring kelistrikan efektif meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa. Rata-rata penilaian hasil belajar siswa ketika pretest adalah 63,75 dengan nilai terendah 50 dan nilai tertinggi 75. Sedangkan rata-rata nilai posttest sebesar 78,75 dengan nilai terendah 65 dan nilai tertinggi 90. DEVELOPING INTERACTIVE LEARNING MULTIMEDIA THE BASIC COMPETENCY IN INSTALLING LIGHTING AND ELECTRIC WIRING SYSTEMS AT VOCATIONAL SCHOOLSAbstractThis study aims to: (1) develop an interactive learning multimedia the basic competency in installing lighting and electric wiring system; (2) describe an the quality of the interactive learning multimedia; and (3) describe the effectiveness of the interactive learning multimedia the basic competency in installing lighting and electric wiring system for Grade XI students of the Light Vehicle Engineering expertise competency program at SMK. This was a research and development (R & D). The validation of the multimedia by a matterial expert and media expert. The tryout subjects in the study were 32 people Grade XI students of the Light Vehicle Engineering expertise competency program at SMKN 2 Depok. The conclusions of the study are as follows. (1) the interactive learning multimedia product for the basic competency in installing lighting and electric wiring systems is appropriate to be used for learning grade XI SMK. (2) the assessment of the material expert and media expert on instructional learning multimedia show that the learning aspect attain a score of 66 (good), the content aspect attains a score of 54 (good), the display aspect attains a score 97 (good) and the aspect attains a score of the 50 (good) while the students' assessment from the field tryout conducted at SMK Negeri 2 Depok shows that the learning aspect attains a score of 1277 (very good), the content aspect attains a score of 1195 (very good), the display aspect attains a score of 1562 (very good), and the programming aspect attains a score of 519 (very good); (3) the developed product is effective to improve the student learning outcomes. This is indicated by the result of the pretest and posttest analysis. The Average assessment of learning outcomes when the pretest of 63,75, with the lowest score of 50 and a highest of 75. While the average score posttest of 78,75 with the lowest score of 65 and the highest score of 90.
