Abstract

This research was conducted to find out the students of SMP Negri 4 Lowiliang attitude in online learning toward English learning using Google Classroom during covid 19 pandemic. The research was used qualitative methode approach. The questionnaire used as the instrument of research to the thritithstudnets junior high schools. The research discovered there is no significant positive attitude toward using Google classroom in English teaching during covid-19 pandemic, due to some factors which need some future research.

Abstract

Determining the success of a business will be easy if you are able to separate personal funds from business funds, make financial records of purchases and sales. Unfortunately, there are still many MSME players who do not realize the importance of using financial bookkeeping and the many benefits of financial bookkeeping. This community service activity helps to provide simple financial bookkeeping training for MSMEs to increase their knowledge and skills in managing their business finances. The method used by community service is the training method. And obtained positive reactions or results from MSME actors in RT 001 RW 001 Telajung Village, West Cikarang District, Bekasi Regency because they gained new insights in the description of the delivery of material on how to manage their business through the use of simple and straightforward accounting or financial records that are easy to understand.

Abstract

Permasalahan yang dialami oleh siswa SMA Negeri 1 Sampang Cilacap berkaitan dengan kualitas tidur dan kecerdasan emosional saat melaksanakan tugas sekolah akademik maupun non-akademik dan karakter siswa yang masih rendah. Penjelasan tersebut dapat ditarik kesimpulan perilaku yang dimaksud yaitu seperti mudah marah, tidak nyaman secara psikologi atau dapat dikatakan siswa memiliki stress emosional. Kualitas tidur yang buruk akan mempengaruhi proses pembelajaran dan emosional siswa ketika di sekolah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji hubungan antara kualitas tidur dengan kecerdasan emosional pada siswa kelas XI SMA Negeri 1 Sampang Kabupaten Cilacap. Penelitian ini menggunakan teknik pengambilan sampel simple random sampling pada 181 siswa kelas XI. Alat ukur yang digunakan yaitu skala kecerdasan emosional dan skala kualitas tidur. Pada skala kualitas tidur diperoleh reliabilitas 0,700 dan pada skala kecerdasan emosional diperoleh reliabilitas 0,784. Terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara kualitas tidur dengan kecerdasan emosional pada siswa kelas XI SMA Negeri 1 Sampang dengan nilai signifikasi 0,001 < 0,05. Maka dapat dikatakan bahwa ada korelasi antara kualitas tidur dengan kecerdasan emosional pada siswa kelas XI SMA Negeri 1 Sampang. The students at SMA Negeri 1 Sampang, Cilacap, face issues related to sleep quality and emotional intelligence, which affect their performance in academic and non-academic tasks as well as their overall character development. These issues manifest in behaviors such as irritability, psychological discomfort, and emotional stress. Poor sleep quality negatively impacts the learning process and students' emotional well-being at school. This study aims to examine the relationship between sleep quality and emotional intelligence among 11th-grade students at SMA Negeri 1 Sampang, Cilacap Regency. The study employed a simple random sampling technique, involving 181 11th-grade students. The instruments used were the Emotional Intelligence Scale and the Sleep Quality Scale, with reliability coefficients of 0.700 and 0.784, respectively. The results showed a significant relationship between sleep quality and emotional intelligence among 11th-grade students at SMA Negeri 1 Sampang, with a significance value of 0.001 0.05. Thus, it can be concluded that there is a correlation between sleep quality and emotional intelligence among 11th-grade students at SMA Negeri 1 Sampang.

Abstract

This study aims to measure the level of physical fitness of Muhammadiyah Palangka Raya Junior High School students using the Phase D Fitness Assessment Center (Pusmendik) instrument. The research method used was descriptive quantitative, with a sample of 30 students. The population of this study were all 8th grade students of Muhammadiyah Palangka Raya Junior High School, totaling 60 students. The data collected includes the results of the explosive power test, muscle strength test, endurance test, agility test, and coordination test. The results of the descriptive statistics analysis of the broad jump test had an average value of 1.4093 meters with a relatively small variation (standard deviation 0.28079), while the sit-up test showed a larger range of values (7-26) with an average of 16.70 and a high standard deviation (3.834), indicating a more significant variation in performance. On the beep test, the average participant score was 22.697 with a more consistent distribution (standard deviation 0.7681), while on the hand eye coordination test, the average was 12.97 showing greater variation between participants (standard deviation 2.942). Finally, in the t-test, the mean score of 15.7127 with moderate variation (standard deviation 1.59860) reflected a reasonable difference in ability between participants. Overall, these results indicate significant variation in participants' performance on different tests.

Abstract

Vocational High Schools (SMK) are educational institutions designed to prepare students to become skilled professionals in their respective fields. However, the challenges encountered by students can often lead to feelings of pressure, stress, and even a sense of inadequacy. Therefore, academic resilience is essential for students to effectively navigate these demands. This study aims to examine the influence of emotional intelligence and teacher support on the academic resilience of 11th-grade students at SMK X Pemalang. This research employs a quantitative correlational approach, with a sample of 169 students selected through simple random sampling. Data collection was carried out using the Academic Resilience Scale (ARS-30), the Emotional Quotient Inventory: Youth Version (EQ-i:YV), and the Teacher Support Scale (TSS). The data analysis yielded a t-value of 9.862 and an R of 0.368, indicating that emotional intelligence significantly influences academic resilience, contributing 36.8% to the variance. The t-value for teacher support was 2.111, with an R of 0.026, suggesting that teacher support also significantly influences academic resilience, albeit with a smaller contribution of 2.6%. Furthermore, the F-test result of 49.342 and an R of 0.373 indicate that both emotional intelligence and teacher support collectively influence academic resilience, accounting for 37.3% of the variance. The remaining 62.7% is attributed to other unexamined factors, such as self-efficacy and social support.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengidentifikasi hubungan antara motivasi akademik dengan Indeks Prestasi Kumulatif (IPK) mahasiswa pada Program Studi Pendidikan Jasmani, Kesehatan, dan Rekreasi (PJKR) FKIP Universitas Palangka Raya. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain cross-sectional. Sampel terdiri dari 122 mahasiswa yang dipilih menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Untuk mengukur motivasi akademik, digunakan instrumen Academic Motivation Scale (AMS), sedangkan informasi mengenai IPK diperoleh dari data akademik mahasiswa. Analisis data dilakukan dengan menggunakan uji korelasi Spearman Rank, mengingat data yang diperoleh tidak mengikuti distribusi normal. Hasil penelitian mengungkapkan bahwa tidak ditemukan hubungan yang signifikan antara motivasi akademik dan IPK mahasiswa (r = -0,045, p = 0,621). Hasil penelitian ini mengindikasikan bahwa motivasi akademik bukan merupakan faktor utama yang memengaruhi IPK mahasiswa. Faktor lain seperti strategi belajar, lingkungan akademik, dan keterlibatan non-akademik diduga turut memengaruhi pencapaian prestasi akademik.
