Abstract

This exploration is expected to search many insightful articles on mixed helping blended learning strategies to upgrade understudy learning results in complex and routine circumstances. To all the more likely comprehend and scholarly involvement in mixed learning, we accumulated information and data by doing a virtual information search on some notable distributions on educational issues and utilizing innovation to improve learning results. We utilized the expressions "distributions" to allude to information from ERIC, Google Books, Taylor&France, Elsevier, and Sagepub. We directed a top-to-bottom review utilizing an inside and out evaluation and coding framework to find the solutions utilizing a phenomenological technique. Subsequently, given the assessment of the principal discoveries, we can presume that a hybrid or blended learning system is a learning approach that consolidates a scope of instructive procedure techniques to help understudies accomplish more prominent degrees of accomplishment than traditional methodologies alone. A mixture and blended learning framework joins vis-à-vis guidance with PC helped training. It is expected that these outcomes would fill in as supporting writing for future examinations and applications.

The population in this study was students of class XII with a sample of 54 students. To assess students’ writing score, an analytic scoring rubric developed by Jacob et al was adopted. In this study, it can be seen from the results of the pre-test and post-test which were calculated using an independent sample T-test through the SPSS program, that the significance obtained was 0.01, which means that the use of online news texts was used effectively. In the results of the questionnaire, the answers (yes) were chosen as many as 113; the answers (sometimes) were chosen as many as 92; and the answers (no) were 65. This means that majority of students at MAN Tanjung Pinang responded positively towards the application of online English news.

Abstract

Writing is not a stand-alone mental activity; it is inextricably linked to other forms of creative design, such as drawing and music composition. Writing is a highly sought-after skill in today's digital world. Creative writing is defined as the fluent exchange of concepts in an original manner through the construction of logical connections between them in written form based on the individual's schema. This article discusses a study that examined factors affecting student engagement as a lens through which to examine students' perceptions of their creative writing class participation. These interactions emphasize the complexities of student engagement and promote the accuracy of the instruments and metrics used to study it. Cognitive engagement is concerned with a student's internal investment in the learning process, which includes inner psychological characteristics or nonvisible characteristics that encourage effort in acquiring, comprehending, and mastering the knowledge or skills required for academic work. As a result, English lessons were held for 12 students from Flores' private junior high school. They completed a questionnaire that included quantitative and qualitative questions. Descriptive statistics are used to examine qualitative data conceptually and statistically. The participants' experiences reflected various aspects of the students' participation. According to the findings, creative writing activities can help students learn about behavior, emotion, and cognition in a poetry class. However, in a poetry class, emotional involvement prevailed and was followed by behavioral engagement. Nonetheless, pupils maintained a low level of cognitive engagement.

Abstract

This study aimed to describe the forms of social stratification in Arundhati Roy’s novel The God of Small Things. The object of the study was the novel written by Arundhati Roy. The analysis focused on the depiction of social hierarchy and inequality among the characters in the story. The study applied a sociological approach using the theory by (Zahara & Anwar, 2021:24), which stated that there were three dimensions of social stratification in society: wealth (economic class), prestige (social status), and power. The research method used was descriptive qualitative, with data collected in the form of words, phrases, and sentences found in the novel. The results of the study showed that wealth was reflected through differences in the economic background of the characters, prestige was portrayed through caste position and family reputation, while power appeared in the form of authority, influence, and control exercised by certain characters over others. These three dimensions interacted to form a complex picture of social inequality that affected the relationships, lives, and conflicts of the characters in the novel. The findings emphasized that social stratification was not only a background element of the story but also a key factor driving the dynamics of conflict and the development of the plot in The God of Small Things.
