Abstract

This study aims to analyze how the integration of local historical values ??in Indonesian language teaching materials can improve students' literacy and historical awareness. The focus of the study included high school students with a scope of narrative, expository, and argumentative teaching texts adapted from local historical events or figures. The approach used was descriptive qualitative with critical literacy theory (Freire) and historical awareness as conceptual foundations. Data collection was carried out through teacher interviews, documentation studies of teaching materials, and content analysis of teaching materials. The data model studied was in the form of local historical narratives such as folklore, the struggles of local figures, and local historical events used in reading and writing activities in Indonesian language classes. The results of the study showed that the use of local history-based teaching materials was able to increase student engagement, strengthen reading comprehension, and motivate students in writing and discussing. Interesting findings showed that students felt more emotionally connected to the material, and began to develop a sense of historical identity and empathy. This integration has proven to not only strengthen literacy, but also be an effective strategy in instilling local historical and cultural values ??in cross-disciplinary learning.

Abstract

Tujuan Penelitian ini adalah untuk Meningkatkan keterampilan menyimak siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 2 Siliragung Banyuwangi. Penelitian ini dirancang menggunakan Metode Penelitian Tindakan (action research). Tujuan penelitian tindakan kelas ini untuk mengatasi masalah kemampuan keterampilan menyimak. Karena kondisi riil yang terjadi di siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 2 Siliragung masih kurang, karena selama ini kegiatan pembelajaran masih banyak guru yang enggan memanfaatkan media. Media yang digunakan yaitu media Audio Visual dengan teknik kerja kelompok

Abstract

Masalah kesehatan mental di kalangan mahasiswa perguruan tinggi semakin menjadi perhatian serius, terutama terkait dengan risiko stres berlebih, depresi, dan suicidal attempt. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi tingkat kesehatan mental dan mengidentifikasi potensi risiko suicidal attempt pada mahasiswa di lingkungan perguruan tinggi Banyuwangi. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode kuantitatif deskriptif melalui penyebaran kuesioner berbasis skala Likert kepada 27 responden, yang mencakup tiga variabel utama yaitu Gejala Depresi, Suicidal Thought & Attempt, dan Dukungan Sosial. Data dianalisis menggunakan statistik deskriptif, uji reliabilitas Cronbach’s Alpha, uji validitas Corrected Item-Total Correlation, serta analisis korelasi Pearson antar variabel. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kondisi kesehatan mental mahasiswa secara umum berada dalam kategori baik hingga cukup, dengan skor rata-rata Gejala Depresi berkisar antara 1,70 hingga 2,93. Tingkat suicidal thought dan attempt berada dalam kategori rendah hingga sangat rendah, dengan skor rata-rata 0,96 hingga 2,52. Dukungan sosial berperan signifikan sebagai faktor protektif, dengan skor rata-rata tinggi antara 2,93 hingga 4,04. Korelasi antar variabel menunjukkan bahwa gejala depresi berhubungan positif kuat dengan suicidal thought (r = 0,64) dan berhubungan negatif kuat dengan dukungan sosial (r = -0,76). Berdasarkan hasil tersebut, disarankan agar perguruan tinggi menerapkan program deteksi dini kesehatan mental, mengoptimalkan layanan konseling individual dan kelompok, mengembangkan program peer support, serta membangun sistem rujukan profesional yang cepat dan efektif. Selain itu, perlu diciptakan kebijakan kampus yang lebih ramah terhadap kesehatan mental untuk memperkuat ekosistem dukungan bagi mahasiswa.

Abstract

History education plays a crucial role in shaping national identity, historical awareness, and national character in students. One approach that can strengthen history education is the Integration of the Spirit and Values ​​of '45 (JSN 45) into local history instruction in schools. This study aims to analyze the concept, urgency, and implementation strategies of JSN 45 in strengthening local history learning for students. The approach used in this research is a literature review, reviewing various academic sources, such as journals, books, and educational policy documents relevant to the integration of JSN 45 into local history instruction. The analysis was conducted using content analysis methods to explore various concepts and practices that have been implemented in history education based on national values. The results show that the integration of JSN 45 into local history instruction contributes to strengthening students' national identity, preventing social conflict, and instilling the values ​​of unity and patriotism. Several effective implementation strategies include the use of digital media and interactive technology, project-based learning, and inquiry-based learning methods. However, several implementation challenges exist, such as the lack of integration of local history into the national curriculum, limited learning resources, and teacher readiness to apply innovative methods. Therefore, collaboration between the government, educators, and the academic community is needed to develop a more inclusive and multicultural history curriculum.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the implementation of the Garputala method as a Qur'anic counseling and leadership model in supporting business people to face various problems effectively and affordably. Using a qualitative approach with a case study method, data was obtained through interviews with alumni of Magnet Rezeki Training in the Bumi Serpong Damai area. The results showed that the Garputala method helps business people achieve emotional calmness and positive behavioral changes. In addition, the application of Qur'anic leadership through this method is proven to increase business turnover and provide solutions to mental problems and work productivity. The findings also demonstrate the potential of the Qur'an as an effective counseling medium for individual and organizational development. This research makes a practical contribution in introducing a spiritually-based approach that is relevant for the business world, while opening up opportunities for exploration of similar methods in other educational and social fields.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the impact of parental divorce on child psychology. The method used is qualitative research with a case study approach. The subjects in this study were one 10-year-old child with two key informants who live in Wonorejo Village, Banyuputih District, Situbondo Regency. The results of this study indicate that divorced parents will have a psychological impact on children, including children who receive less attention, protection, and affection from their father and mother. The impact of parental divorce on children's psychology in Wonorejo Village, Banyuputih District, Situbondo Regency, has several impacts. The impacts that researchers get are shame and sadness due to a disorganized family. Meanwhile, the positive impact of parental divorce on children's psychology in Wonorejo Village, Banyuputih District, Situbondo Regency is in the form of children becoming more independent and having solutions in the ability to survive.

Abstract

This research aims to find out what problems are faced by students who study while working and what coping strategies are applied in solving final assignment problems for students studying and working class of 2019, Guidance and Counseling Study Program, PGRI Banyuwangi University. This research is descriptive research with a qualitative approach. The research subject in this study was one person. The data collection technique uses the interview method. To obtain valid data in this research, in-depth interview techniques or methods were used. Test the validity of the data using triangulation techniques. The instrument in this research is an interview guide. Data were analyzed using the Milles and Huberman model with stages of data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions.The results of the research show that the problems faced by students who study while working in completing their final assignments are: difficulty dividing time between study and work, difficulty dividing time with supervisors, and conditions that require making work a top priority. The coping strategy used by students is Planful Problem. accepted

Abstract

Students are individuals who are pursuing education in higher education. One of the problems that exists in the 2020 class of counseling guidance students at PGRI Banyuwangi University is low self-efficacy. The solution provided by the researcher is a group guidance service with the Cinematherapy method. In this service, research subjects are invited to discuss with group members and counselors to provide stimulus through motivational videos. The approach in this study uses a quantitative experiment designed as one group pretest-postest. This study had a population of 42 respondents and the research subjects were taken by 10 students who were in the low self-efficacy category. The percentage for pretest is 63.7% and the percentage for posttest is 98.5%. This can prove that group guidance services using Cinematherapy are effective in increasing self-efficacy in counseling guidance students of the Class of 2020 at PGRI Banyuwangi University.
