Abstract

Abstrak: Motivasi belajar merupakan hal yang penting dalam pembelajaran orang dewasa, khususnya motivasi yang dimiliki oleh peserta didik program keaksaraan dasar. Pentingnya motivasi belajar pada peserta didik keaksaraan dikarenakan sulitnya peserta didik orang dewasa dalam menyerap materi pembelajaran jika tidak memiliki motif yang kuat, terlebih lagi peserta didik program keaksaraan dasar yang menghendaki orang dewasa supaya memiliki kemampuan membaca, menulis, dan berhitung. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan motivasi orang dewasa dalam mengikuti kegiatan baca tulis melalui Program Pendidikan Keaksaraan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode survei. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh peserta program keaksaraan yang tersebar di berbagai provinsi pada tahun 2021 dengan pengambilan sampel secara purposive sebanyak 265 responden. Analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis deskriptif. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa terdapat beberapa motif kuatorang dewasa yang menjadi peserta didik program pendidikan keaksaraan dasar di antaranya adalah mengenal huruf, belajar keterampilan, menambah ilmu pengetahuan, ingin bisa belajar membaca dan menghitung, ingin membuat produk usaha, dan ingin merasakan sekolah. Hasil pengamatan menunjukkan bahwa motivasi membentuk sebuah pola, yaitu tekad untuk berbuat, menyediakan waktu belajar, serta sabar selama mengikuti pembelajaran. Kata-kata kunci: pendidikan keaksaraan dasar, motif belajar, pendidikan orang dewasa.Abstract: Learning motivation is important in adult learning, especially the motivation possessed by students inbasic literacy programs. The importance of learning motivation for literacy students is due to the diffi culty of adult students in absorbing learning materials if they do not have a strong motive, especially students of basic literacy programs that require adults to be able to read, write and count. This study aims to describe the motivation of adults in participating in reading and writing activities through the Literacy Education Program. This research uses a quantitative approach with a survey method. The population of this research is all students participating in the literacy program spread across various provinces in 2021 with a purposive sampling of 265 respondents. Analysis of the data used is descriptive analysis. The results show that there are several strong motives for literacy education participants to participate in literacy education programs including recognizing letters, learning skills, increasing knowledge, wanting to be able to learn to read and counting, wanting to make business products and wanting to feel school. In addition, students are moved to learn if they have a strong motivation to learn. The results of observations show that motivation form a pattern, namely the determination to act, provide study time, be patient in learning. Motivation to learn is one way to increase the effectiveness of learning.Keywords: basic literacy education, learning motives, adult education

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the capacity of agricultural instructors in developing cyber extension media, which consists of the characteristics of cyber extension media, cyber extension media design, characteristics of self-help extension workers, and the capacity of self-help agricultural extension workers, as well as analyzing the factors that affect the ability of extension workers in developing cyber media. This research uses quantitative research through a survey method. Data analysis was carried out descriptively and inferentially using Structural Equation Models. Correlational prescriptive results explored about 108 informants. The results of SEM modelling show a direct and indirect effect on the ability of independent agricultural instructors to develop CE media. So it can be said that there is an influence of media characteristics, media design, characteristics of self-help extension workers, and the capacity of self-help agricultural instructors on agricultural instructors' performance. The correlation test results have a significant relationship between the utilization of Cyber Extension by agricultural extension workers and the capability of agricultural extension workers to have an excellent significant value.

Abstract

This study applies the Fishbein and Ajzen model to develop a Scientific Attitude Measurement Instrument for Students, focusing on attitudes, beliefs, and intentions towards scientific behaviors. The quantitative research employs an instrument development method, initially constructing dimensions reflecting various scientific attitudes such as attitudes towards the scientific method, collaboration, openness to knowledge, criticality, respect, honesty, independence, and interest in data analysis. The instrument measures students' scientific attitudes across three main dimensions: attitude, subjective norms, and behavioral control, aligning with the Fishbein and Ajzen model. It covers key aspects like attitudes towards the scientific method, emphasizing rigorous approaches like Popper's Falsification concept, and the importance of social interaction in scientific collaboration. Validity and reliability analyses confirm the instrument's adherence to high-quality standards, making it relevant for assessing scientific attitudes and contributing to educational quality and student development in science. It provides a comprehensive view of students' perceptions and responses to scientific attitudes. Factor Loadings in the Rotated Component Matrix, with loadings above 0.50, indicate a strong correlation within the model. Cronbach's Alpha values range from 0.922 to 0.941, ensuring internal consistency and reliability. Exploratory Factor Analysis with student participants established the construct's validity and reliability, with a Kaiser-Meyer-Olkin (KMO) value of 0.747, indicating suitability for factor analysis. Most items showed high analytical validity, but items B22 and B13 require further review or adjustment.

Abstract

Background: The rapid advancement of digital technology has transformed global education, yet disparities in access persist, particularly in low-income and rural regions. Digital literacy—encompassing technical, critical, and ethical competencies—remains underdeveloped due to insufficient teacher training and infrastructural limitations. Research Objectives: This study aims to (1) assess the effectiveness of FOCIL in improving digital literacy, (2) evaluate its socio-cultural and infrastructural adaptability, and (3) identify key features that enhance learning outcomes in underserved communities. Research Method: A mixed-methods sequential exploratory design was employed, combining qualitative stakeholder interviews, observational studies, and document analysis, followed by quantitative usability and field trials. Research Findings: The FOCIL platform significantly enhanced literacy outcomes, with participants demonstrating greater progress than those using conventional methods. Learning modules that incorporated local wisdom, such as regional folktales, proved more engaging and achieved higher completion rates than generic materials. The platform’s low-bandwidth design effectively supported learners in rural areas, enabling continued access through offline mode. Interactive features, particularly discussion forums and gamification, played a central role in boosting engagement and reinforcing learning gains. Conclusion: FOCIL effectively bridges digital divides by aligning with socio-cultural contexts, overcoming infrastructural barriers, and employing evidence-based pedagogies. Challenges include server latency and the need for teacher training. Future iterations should integrate AI-driven feedback and expand partnerships for scalability. Novelty/Originality/Value:  This study contributes a validated Cultural-Technological Implementation Framework and an open-source, adaptive platform tailored for resource-constrained settings. It advances the discourse on equitable digital education by demonstrating how community-centric design and hybrid learning models can enhance literacy and inclusion.

Abstract

Dalam menghadapi tuntutan zaman yang mengharuskan inovasi dan kreativitas, guru menghadapi berbagai masalah, termasuk penerapan metode mengajar konvensional, kurangnya kemampuan berpikir divergen, dan kebutuhan mendesak untuk meningkatkan kreativitas. Survei awal mengungkapkan adanya masalah dalam aspek fleksibilitas, elaborasi, kelancaran, originalitas, dan pengambilan risiko di kalangan guru. Kajian ini ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dan kuantitatif untuk mengkaji dampak dari serangkaian pelatihan dan workshop yang dirancang untuk meningkatkan kreativitas dan efektivitas pengajaran guru. Evaluasi pre-post training dilakukan untuk mengukur peningkatan kompetensi guru, dengan fokus pada penerapan kurikulum, motivasi mengajar, dan pencapaian tujuan pendidikan. Metodologi ini mencakup analisis deskriptif terhadap data statistik, observasi langsung, dan wawancara dengan peserta pelatihan untuk mendapatkan insight mendalam tentang perubahan dalam praktik mengajar. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan dalam berbagai dimensi kinerja guru pasca pelatihan. Analisis data menunjukkan adanya peningkatan dalam fleksibilitas, elaborasi, kelancaran, originalitas, dan pengambilan risiko. Selain itu, ada peningkatan motivasi dan semangat mengajar yang ditandai dengan adopsi metode pembelajaran inovatif dan interaktif. Pelatihan kreativitas pembuatan karya seni dan penguasaan informasi dan teknologi juga memberikan dampak positif, memfasilitasi integrasi seni dalam pembelajaran dan pengembangan literasi digital siswa. Dampak lain termasuk pembentukan jaringan kerjasama antar guru, peningkatan kualitas materi ajar, dan dampak positif terhadap institusi pendidikan seperti STABN Sriwijaya. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa dengan pelatihan dan pengembangan profesional yang sistematis, guru. Pendidikan Agama Buddha di Provinsi Banten dapat secara signifikan meningkatkan kreativitas dan efektivitas pengajarannya. Peningkatan ini tidak hanya mempengaruhi kinerja guru secara individual, tetapi juga membawa dampak positif terhadap kualitas pengajaran secara keseluruhan, motivasi belajar siswa, dan pencapaian tujuan pendidikan.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the perceptions and understandings of students, lecturers, and staff about the meaning of the "Buddhist, Excellent, and Characterful" motto. Additionally, the study seeks to determine whether there are differences in perception among these three groups towards the effectiveness of implementing this motto in enhancing educational quality and campus productivity. In this context, an analysis of the perception differences between students, lecturers, and staff is conducted to ascertain the similarities or differences in their perceptions and understandings of the motto's meaning and its implementation effectiveness in a higher education context. This research will also provide insights into the perceptions of students, lecturers, and staff towards the application of the "Buddhist, Excellent, and Characterful" motto within the campus environment. The research design uses a mixed-method approach with the Sequential exploratory design, which is a mixed research design that begins with a qualitative phase followed by a quantitative phase in a sequential manner. The analysis of the "Buddhist, Excellent, and Characterful" motto at STABN Sriwijaya shows a positive perception, particularly from students, with varied perceptions among lecturers. ANOVA testing indicates significant differences between students, lecturers, and staff in their understanding and application of these values. Open responses suggest the need for a more pragmatic and measurable approach in applying these values, as well as the need for increased socialization, the creation of clear indicators, and the practical elaboration of these values. It is crucial for STABN Sriwijaya to develop strategies that support the effective integration of these values into institutional policies and decisions.

Abstract

Companies are generally established with the aim of making a profit. Profit growth is influenced by the provision and use of capital properly. If this goes well, it will be able to maximize the profits earned by the company. The company's capital comes from two sources, namely external sources (as liabilities) and internal (as equity). The formulation of the problem in this study is whether there is a partial and simultaneous effect of liabilities and equity on BRI Syariah profits in 2016-2020. This study aims to determine the effect of liabilities and equity partially or simultaneously on BRI Syaraiah's profits in 2016-2020. This type of research is a quantitative research with data sources used are secondary data taken through the website www.brisyariah.co.id as many as 58 samples. The data analysis technique used is descriptive statistical test, normality test, classic assumption test, hypothesis testing and multiple linear regression analysis using SPSS version 23. The partial results of the study (t test) state that the liability variable has tcount ttable (2.328 1.674) and a significance value (0.024) 0.05, so it can be concluded that the liability variable affects earnings. However, the equity variable has tcount ttable (-1.016 1.674) and a significance value (0.314) 0.05, it is concluded that equity has no effect on earnings. The results of the study simultaneously (F test) stated that the liability variable and equity variable had an effect on profit, by comparing Fcount Ftable (3.282 3.17). Based on the results of the coefficient of determination it is known that the value of Adjusted R Square has a value of 0.131 or 13.1%. The Adjusted R Square value shows that the liabilities and equity variables affect profit by 0.131 or 13.1% and the remaining 0.869 or 86.9% is influenced by other variables not discussed in this study.

Abstract

Kejahatan phising melalui media sosial di ruang siber merupakan ancaman serius dalam dunia digital yang terus berkembang. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji strategi pemolisian dalam pencegahan kejahatan phising melalui media sosial. Pendekatan kualitatif digunakan dalam penelitian ini untuk memahami isu-isu kompleks yang terkait dengan serangan phising dan melibatkan perspektif pengguna media sosial. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penjahat siber semakin cerdik dalam memanfaatkan media sosial untuk melancarkan serangan phising dengan menyamar sebagai entitas tepercaya. Penelitian ini menggarisbawahi kekurangan kesadaran dan pemahaman pengguna tentang risiko phising serta perlunya pendidikan tentang tanda-tanda serangan dan cara melindungi diri. Selain itu, penelitian ini menyoroti faktor psikologis yang dimanfaatkan oleh penjahat siber dalam serangan phising. Sehingga strategi pemolisian yang holistik dan kolaboratif diperlukan untuk menciptakan lingkungan siber yang lebih aman dan terlindungi dari serangan phising yang semakin kompleks di era digital ini dengan cara kolaborasi antara pihak berwenang dan platform media sosial dalam mengatasi ancaman phising, yang didukung pula dengan pemolisian berbasis pengguna juga memiliki peran penting. Strategi lain yang dapat digunakan yaitu mengadakan edukasi dan penyuluhan tentang pemahaman pengguna dalam pencegahan kejahatan phishing yang dapat didukung dengan pemanfaatan teknologi.

Abstract

To assess the feasibility of a business venture, both financial and non-financial factors are considered. The evaluation of feasibility involves analyzing non-financial elements, with a particular focus on production and marketing aspects. The financial aspects of Tofu and Tempeh Sukses Jaya's commercial production were analyzed using objective metrics such as payback period (PP), net present value (NPV), internal rate of return (IRR), and profitability index (PI) to determine its overall feasibility. Based on the analysis, it was concluded that the business is feasible due to its advantageous location and convenient accessibility. The Tofu and Tempeh Sukses Jaya business seems viable due to its strategic and easily accessible location, modern technology, and straightforward production process. Feasibility is ensured by high product quality, imported raw materials, competitive pricing, extensive distribution channels, and effective promotional efforts by the owner to ensure consumer awareness. The financial analysis indicates that the Tempeh Tofu business could be viable over a 10-year project duration with a 10 percent discount rate. The business has a 6-month payback period (PP), a net present value (NPV) of Rp 161,565,200, a profitability index (PI) of 1.6%, and an internal rate of return (IRR) of 30%, all of which suggest the business's financial feasibility.
