Abstract

This research aims to examine the influence of education at Majelis Ta'limul Qur'an on the character building of children in Senuro Village, with a special focus on the learning materials delivered in instilling moral and religious values in children. This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach, using purvosiv random samlping techniques, with data collection techniques in the form of interviews, observation, and documentation. The results of the study show that the learning materials at Majelis Ta'limul Qur'an are delivered through interactive methods and in accordance with the development of children's age, such as dialog, storytelling, exemplary, targhib and tarhib and habituation. The material effectively instills character values in children. Children who participated in the assembly activities experienced an increase in positive attitudes, such as discipline, better morals, and increased responsibility. Parents also feel the positive impact of the learning materials provided, seen from changes in children's behavior at home and the surrounding environment. Thus, education at Majelis Ta'limul Qur'an not only improves children's religious abilities but also becomes a fortress in shaping character in accordance with Islamic values amid the challenges of the times

Abstract

The increasing participation of married women in paid work places many mothers in a dual-role situation as homemakers and workers. This study aims to analyze the dynamics of dual roles and the psychological well-being of working homemakers in Sialang Urban Village, Palembang City. The study employed a qualitative approach with a phenomenological design. Five working mothers were selected purposively based on predetermined criteria and represented diverse occupations, namely shop employee, freelancer, micro and small business owner, bank employee, and teacher. Data were collected through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation, and analyzed using data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. Data credibility was strengthened through triangulation. The findings show that time-based conflict and strain-based conflict were the most prominent forms of dual-role conflict, while behavior-based conflict was relatively low. Despite experiencing limited time, fatigue, emotional pressure, and competing demands, all informants developed adaptive strategies through time management, priority setting, communication, acceptance of personal limitations, and utilization of family and social support. Psychological well-being was found to develop well across all six dimensions proposed by Ryff: self-acceptance, positive relations with others, autonomy, environmental mastery, purpose in life, and personal growth. The study indicates that psychological well-being is not necessarily achieved through the absence of role conflict, but through the capacity to adapt, interpret experiences positively, and obtain meaningful social support.

Abstract

Pemanfaatan teknologi mesin di era modern seperti saat ini sangat berpengaruh terhadap peningkatan produktivitas dan perkembangan UKM, terutama di Desa Meranjat 1, Kecamatan Indralaya Selatan, Kabupaten Ogan Ilir. Salah satu usaha yang dikembangan UKM di daerah tersebut adalah produksi kerupuk. Hal penting yang dibutuhkan dalam produksi kerupuk adalah penggiling daging sebagai alat pengolah bahan pokok dari kerupuk itu sendiri. Namun, rendahnya pemahaman masyarakat terkait pengembangan mesin terutama penggiling daging menjadi kendala yang menghambat efisiensi dan efektifitas kerja dalam produksi kerupuk tersebut. Untuk itu. kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini pada dasarnya memiliki tujuan penting yaitu, memberikan pengetahuan dan motivasi terkait pentingnya ilmu rekayasa dibidang teknologi bagi pelaku UKM. Metode pelaksanaan dalam kegiatan pelatihan dan pendampingan pembuatan alat penggiling daging ini dilakukan secara luring, setelah diberi pelatihan, para pelaku UKM dibimbing untuk menerapkan hasil pelatihan dalam rangka peningkatan kemampuan UKM dalam kegiatan teknis membuat produk dari rancangan sebelumnya. Selanjutnya, metode pelatihan yang diterapkan, yaitu; metode ceramah, metode tanya jawab, dan metode simulasi. Berdasarkan hasil evaluasi kegiatan yang telah dilakukan, hasil yang diperoleh menunjukkan bahwa para anggota UKM mampu memahami materi pembuatan mesin penggiling dengan baik. Sehingga pada tahap implementasi dari alat mesin penggiling tersebut dapat dikuasai dengan baik oleh tiap anggota UKM.
