Abstract

Writing is one of the subjects taught at school. Through poetry writing, students’ imaginative writing skills can be improved. The purpose of this research is to describe the improvement in poetry writing skills and students’ activity using Prezi. This research employed a classroom action research method conducted in three cycles. Each cycle consisted of four stages, namely: planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The subjects of this research were fifth-grade students of a primary school in Inderalaya consisting of 13 male students and 16 female students. The instrument of the data collection was a poetry writing test. The results of the three cycles in this research were 44.44%, 78.57%, and 89.28% respectively. It showed an increase in poetry writing skills of fifth-grade primary school students after the use of Prezi media in learning.  Hence, it can be concluded that Prezi was an appropriate media to teach poetry writing. It is recommended that Prezi could be used as an alternative media to teach writing in the primary school.

Abstract

Antena Mikrostrip dengan struktur satu feed line dipole Co-Planar Waveguide dan dua patch untuk repeater wifi dua arah telah difabrikasi dan karakterisasi. Parameter-parameter fisis yang dikarakterisasi meliputi VSWR (Voltage Standing Wave Ratio), Return Loss, dan pola radiasi. Substrat yang digunakan untuk fabrikasi antena adalah FR4 dengan permitivitas relatif 4,47. Ukuran antena yang digunakan adalah 70 mm × 50 mm × 3 mm, dengan lebar feed line 3 mm, CPW 2 mm × 20 mm, dipole 4 mm × 30 mm, patch 20 mm × 70 mm. Hasil karakterisasi Network Analyzer tipe HP 8753ES pada frekuensi kerja 2,460 GHz adalah return loss -23,68 dB,dan VSWR 1,140. Nilai VSWR yang mendekati 1 pada frekuensi kerja tersebut menunjukkan bahwa daya masukan ditransmisikan hampir keseluruhan ke udara dengan porsi kecil yang di refleksikan balik ke dalam osilator/generator pulsa. Sedangkan return loss yang dihasilkan antena < -15 dB berada rentang nilai yang dapat diterima untuk komunikasi dua arah.

Abstract

Current technological advances, cellular phones or cellphones have been very developed so that they can be used in various fields, one of which is in the field of education which can be used as a source and educative learning media. In today's digital era, Indonesia also has several challenges in the field of education, one of which is that the majority of Indonesian students, especially those in elementary school, carry heavy books, which can interfere with their growth and health. The purpose of this research is to design and create a mobile phone application as a source and learning media that can be utilized by teachers, students or SMEs in the current digital era. This research uses R&D method using Rowntree development model. This ILTEC application provides several application modes, including student mode, teacher mode, student mode, and lecturer mode. Each mode has its own features that distinguish it from one mode to another. In student and student mode there are module features and learning media, while in teacher and lecturer mode there are RPP/RPS features, modules, and learning tools. Abstract

The Web-Based Interactive Learning Multimedia (MPI BeWe) has been successfully developed for students of the Elementary School Teacher Education Study Program (PGSD) for the subject of Science Basic Concepts. 1. The problem raised in this research is how to develop Web-Based Interactive Learning Multimedia (MPI BeWe) to improve the quality of learning for elementary school teacher candidates in the PGSD Study Program FKIP Unsri. This study aims to improve the quality of the learning process for the Basic Science Concept course in the Elementary School Teacher Education Study Program (PGSD). The method used in this research is a quasi-experimental method. The research design used is the One-Group Pretest-Posttest Design. The sampling technique used is the Cluster Random Sampling (CRS) technique. The instruments used in this study were pretest and posttest with multiple choice techniques, observation sheets, and questionnaires in the form of student responses to learning using web-based interactive multimedia learning (MPI BeWe). The application of web-based interactive multimedia learning (MPI BeWe) shows the effectiveness of learning for first semester students of the PGSD study program. This can be seen from the increase in the percentage results of the average value of the pretest and posttest results and the increase in the results of the average gain g>. Thus, it can be concluded that there is an effective application of web-based interactive learning multimedia (MPI BeWe).

Abstract

Salah satu metode budidaya alternatif, yang dikenal sebagai Biofloc Technology (BFT), merupakan sebuah metode budidaya yang bertujuan untuk meningkatkan efektivitas penggunaan nutrisi dan kualitas dari air kolam. Tujuan dari pelaksanaan Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat ini adalah untuk untuk meningkatkan tingkat kesejahteraan masyarakat Lorong Kebon Kelurahan Bukit Lama Kecamatan Ilir Barat I Palembang. Pengabdian masyarakat ini dilakukan dengan beberapa tahap yaitu: 1) Diskusi dengan RT/RW/Lurah/Tokoh Masyarakat; 2) Sosialisasi; 3) Pengenalan rancangan dan persiapan wadah; 4) Pendalaman materi akuakultur bioflok; 5) Pelatihan pembuatan media dan perbanyakan materi; 6) Setting instalasi dan penebaran media dan bateri; 7) Penebaran benih; 8) Sampling dan manajemen kualitas air; 9) Pemanenan dan pemasaran. Hasil yang didapat dari kegiatan budidaya ikan lele dengan menggunakan metode bioflok menunjukkan hasil yang dapat meningkatkan kualitas air pada budidaya ikan lele. Selain dari itu, hasil dari panen kolam dengan menggunakan sistem bioflock adalah 7 ekor/kg sedangkan kolam dengan menggunakan sistem biasa adalah 9 ekor/kg. Sekitar 28,57% lebih banyak uang yang dihasilkan di kolam bioflok 165 daribada di kolam biasa.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of using the STEM-Based Physics Mobile Learning App as a learning resource for students in Indonesia on learning outcomes. The method used in this research is the experimental method. To describe the experimental results, statistical analysis techniques were used, namely the N-Gain technique. The research was conducted at SMAN 1, Air Sugihan, Ogan Komering Ilir Regency. The analysis of the data reveals that the improvement in learning outcomes in the experimental class compared to the control class is evidence of the usage of STEM-based high school physics learning applications as a learning resource for teachers and students. The experimental class's average post-test score was 81.1, while the control class' average post-test score was 72.22

Abstract

Determine the relationship between organizational communication, training, and development, and teacher performance is one of the objectives of this study. 58 people totaled as respondents in this study, which used a saturation sample method. The basic data used in this study was collected through giving teachers questionnaires. The analysis approach used in this study, multiple linear regression, is carried out using the SPSS 22 program. The findings of this study suggest that training and development, organizational communication, and teacher effectiveness are all significantly impacted. Teachers' performance is concurrently greatly impacted by organizational communication, training, and growth.

Abstract

Pemanfaatan teknologi mesin di era modern seperti saat ini sangat berpengaruh terhadap peningkatan produktivitas dan perkembangan UKM, terutama di Desa Meranjat 1, Kecamatan Indralaya Selatan, Kabupaten Ogan Ilir. Salah satu usaha yang dikembangan UKM di daerah tersebut adalah produksi kerupuk. Hal penting yang dibutuhkan dalam produksi kerupuk adalah penggiling daging sebagai alat pengolah bahan pokok dari kerupuk itu sendiri. Namun, rendahnya pemahaman masyarakat terkait pengembangan mesin terutama penggiling daging menjadi kendala yang menghambat efisiensi dan efektifitas kerja dalam produksi kerupuk tersebut. Untuk itu. kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini pada dasarnya memiliki tujuan penting yaitu, memberikan pengetahuan dan motivasi terkait pentingnya ilmu rekayasa dibidang teknologi bagi pelaku UKM. Metode pelaksanaan dalam kegiatan pelatihan dan pendampingan pembuatan alat penggiling daging ini dilakukan secara luring, setelah diberi pelatihan, para pelaku UKM dibimbing untuk menerapkan hasil pelatihan dalam rangka peningkatan kemampuan UKM dalam kegiatan teknis membuat produk dari rancangan sebelumnya. Selanjutnya, metode pelatihan yang diterapkan, yaitu; metode ceramah, metode tanya jawab, dan metode simulasi. Berdasarkan hasil evaluasi kegiatan yang telah dilakukan, hasil yang diperoleh menunjukkan bahwa para anggota UKM mampu memahami materi pembuatan mesin penggiling dengan baik. Sehingga pada tahap implementasi dari alat mesin penggiling tersebut dapat dikuasai dengan baik oleh tiap anggota UKM.

Abstract

This study aims to determine and describe the effect of the experiential learning model on science learning in elementary schools, namely by looking at the achievement of science learning objectives. The method used in this study is the Systematic Literature Review method. The search results found 244 articles from 2011 to 2023, and then were gradually and systematically selected into 15 articles that were relevant to the topic of experiential learning models in elementary school learning science and true/matching criteria. The results of this study indicate that there is an influence of the experiential learning model on science learning in elementary schools, as evidenced by the 15 articles studied being able to answer research questions, namely: How is the achievement of science learning objectives in elementary schools based on the results of a review of research articles on the experiential learning model?, and Does experiential learning affect the achievement of the goals of learning science in elementary schools? The results and findings in these articles indicate an increase in the achievement of science learning objectives after the implementation of this experiential learning model, namely: increasing students' curiosity and learning achievement, increasing students' motivation, Increasing students' understanding of students, improving the quality of learning, increasing the competence of students, and making learning fun.

Abstract

The low skill of teachers in making Learning Resources and Media in Indonesia as well as in Pulau Beringin District makes the quality of learning not optimal. This community service is an effort to increase teacher professionalism (Soft Skill) in making Screenscast-O-Matic-based learning media. The purpose of implementing community service is to increase the understanding d skills of teachers in making Screenscant-O-Matic-based learning media as learning resources and media for learning both online and offline. Socialization, instruction, practice, mentorship, and assessment are the methods of this community service. This training material is delivered in two phases, with the first stage concentrating primarily on supplying knowledge on items linked to the role of learning media, their use, and their use in both online and traditional classroom settings. The second stage of training focused on making learning media using Screencast-O-Matic. The target audience in this service are elementary school teachers in Pulau Beringin District, South Ogan Komering Ulu Regency (OKUS) both from public schools and from private schools. Participants of the community service program training were very satisfied with the training in making Screencast-O-Matic-based learning media.
