Abstract

Fish as a natural resource has a very high potential as a source of foreign exchange and income. Arrest of the proper techniques of some fish species will provide optimal benefits. The objective of this study is to analyze the financial feasibility of tuna fishing of PT Serena Marine in area of North Sulawesi Sea. Through certain assumptions and calculations of financial feasibility with present value concept (NPV, BCR and IRR) and profitability ratios such as ROA, ROI and ROE, also break-even point, and payback period. The result showed that, this business activity will be feasible and profitable. The results show that based on those profitability indicators were above 1%, NPV calculated is positive, BCR is 1.62 or > 1 while IRR is 46 % and greater than discounted interest rate using in this financial analysis, Payback period will be achieved on the year 25thmonths or after 2 years of operations. It shows the activity of tuna fishing by PT Serena Marine, is feasible in financial aspect.

Abstract

This study investigates the relationship between creativity, innovation, and the feasibility of business ideas created by students while taking entrepreneurship courses. Data were collected using an online questionnaire. Hypothesis testing uses structural equation modeling. The test results show that creativity has no direct effect on the feasibility of a business idea. Creativity affects the feasibility of a business idea through innovation. Creativity has a positive impact on innovation, and innovation positively impacts the feasibility of a business idea. This research proves creativity itself is not enough to produce a viable business; it requires innovation.

Abstract

Abstract- The research objectives were to determine: 1) The description of performance, organizational culture, education and training, competence and work motivation of Indonesian National Police members at the Traffic Directorate of East Nusa Tenggara Regional Police; 2) The influence of organizational culture, education and training, competence and work motivation on the performance of Police members at the East Nusa Tenggara Regional Police Traffic Directorate. The study was conducted on all members of the East Nusa Tenggara Police Traffic Directorate with 145 respondents. The data collected were analyzed descriptively based on the results of processed data using the method of Structural Equation Model. The results of descriptive analysis showed that the achievement of the indicators for each variable is as follows: Performance = 67.68 (Good Enough), Organizational Culture = 68.84 (Good), Competence = 67.93 (Good Enough), Education and Training = 67.45 (Good Enough), and Work Motivation = 68.55 (Good). Furthermore, the results of SEM analysis showed that Organizational Culture, Education and Training, Competence and Work Motivation had a positive and significant effect on the Performance of the investigated Police Members. This research is still limited to the 4 variables used so that testing is needed on other variables such as; leadership style, compensation, work atmosphere, work facilities and others with job satisfaction as an intervening variable. Abstract

The purpose of this research is to know the description of corporate value and the influence of liquidity and profitability to firm value with dividend policy as intervening variable of pharmaceutical sub sector manufacturing companies listed in Indonesian Stock Exchange from 2013 until 2017. Liquidity in this research is measured by using current ratio (CR), profitability is measured by return on equity (ROE), dividend payout ratio (DPR), and firm value measured by price to book value (PBV). This research uses secondary data obtained from pharmaceutical sub-sector manufacturing companies listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange. Data analysis method uses Quantitative Descriptive Analysis, Multiple Linear Regression Analysis and Path Analysis. Data is processed using SPSS data analysis package software version 24.0. The overall conclusion is liquidity and profitability simultaneously or partially have a positive and significant effect on dividend policy, while liquidity, profitability, and dividend policy simultaneously have a positive and significant effect to firm value. But partially liquidity and profitability have a negative and significant effect to firm value, while dividend policy has a positive and significant effect to firm value. And, dividend policy is able to mediate the influence of liquidity and profitability to the value of pharmaceutical sub-sector manufacturing companies listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange.

Abstract

Basically, there are two main problems faced in the recreation location especially in outdoor. One side, the rate of visiting some tourism objects is still low until now. It raises an assumption that recreation location doesn’t create any opportunity in regional and domestic economy. On the other hand, undervalue of recreation services, based on the willingness to pay caused a very low attractiveness of investment in tourism objects. To solve these problems, one should be able to predict the number of recreation location demand, so that a good planning and development could be implemented in this estimated area. One of the very common methods to calculate this demand is to use the travel cost methods. Many independent variable could be implemented in a multiple linear regression model, depends on the objective of the research. Somehow, a valid data is necessary in the application of statistical and quantitative analysis. Experiences showed a significant result of analysis using this travel cost methods.

Abstract

A person's job satisfaction is related to the person's perspective on the experience felt when working, while loyalty is a person's desire to stay and give his best performance for the organization. Both are very important because they will be closely related to a person's work output to the organization where he works. This study reviews the factors that influence job satisfaction and loyalty to an organization. This research is in the form of a literature review, where all the discussions in it come from various printed and electronic sources from various library sources. The analyzed factors consist of Salary, Age, Distance of Residence, Training, Performance Allowance, Performance Appraisal, Career Development, and Length of Service. This article was prepared with the aim of designing a hypothesis of the influence between variables so that it can be used as a basis for studies for future research. The results of this study, namely: 1) All factors analyzed have a significant effect on job satisfaction; 2) All factors analyzed have a significant effect on Loyalty. Based on the results that have been obtained, it is important for an organization to be able to make the factors that have been researched as material for consideration in carrying out the management of an organization. Suggestions for further research to be more comprehensive is to add other factors such as Work Environment, Leadership and Motivation as factors that influence job satisfaction and loyalty.

Abstract

This article reviews previous studies as theoretical reinforcement or the basis for further research. This article examines the optimization of productivity and sales of Pempek Palembang using the integer programming method. This study aims to determine the combination of production at Warung Pempek Serasan in order to create an effective and efficient pattern to create maximum profit. The results of this study are: 1) Production optimization using the integer programming method can be used to find the maximum production mix in order to get the best production results 2) Using the economic order quantity (EOQ) can be calculated maximum or minimum stock/inventory so that the stock of raw materials is not experiencing shortages or buildup; 3) Calculating the break even point (BEP) can be used as a reference for profit targets that must be obtained in the sale of a product.

Abstract

Abstract- The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the independent variables, namely brand image, product quality and promotion on the dependent variable, namely consumer loyalty through the intervening variable, namely customer satisfaction. This research was conducted in Superindo, Babelan District, Bekasi Regency. The method used in this study is a quantitative method. The data used in this study is primary data using a questionnaire. The sampling method in this study used the Accidental Sampling technique. The population of this research is all consumers who visit Superindo, Babelan District, Bekasi Indomie Regency, which an average of 580 visitors in a month. The number of samples used in this study was 221 respondents calculated using the table for determining the number of samples developed by Isaac and Michael. The method of analysis uses Descriptive Quantitative Analysis, Multiple Linear Regression Analysis and Path Analysis. The data was processed using SPSS version 25 data analysis software. The results of this study indicate that brand image, product quality and promotion simultaneously or partially have a positive and significant effect on consumer satisfaction, while brand image, product quality and customer satisfaction partially have a positive and significant effect on consumer loyalty of Indomie products in Superindo, Babelan District, Bekasi Regency Keywords: Consumer Loyalty; Brand Image; Product Quality; Promotion; Consumer Satisfaction

Abstract

Kepuasan kerja yang dirasakan pegawai termasuk komponen terpenting untuk mempermudah organisasi dalam mencapai tujuannya. Terdapat beberapa faktor penentu yang berakibat pada kepuasan kerja dan dalam artikel ini akan fokus pada analisis lingkungan kerja maupun beban kerja yang memengaruhi kepuasan kerja, dan stres kerja merupakan variabel mediasi. Hasil dari kajian pustaka dan studi hasil penelitian sejenis dapat mempergunakan metoda analisis SEM PLS sehingga dapat diperoleh kesimpulan lingkungan kerja memberi pengaruhnya secara substansial bagi kepuasan kerja; beban kerja memberi pengaruhnya secara substansial bagi kepuasan kerja; stres kerja memberi pengaruhnya secara substansial bagi kepuasan kerja; lingkungan kerja memberi pengaruhnya secara substansial bagi stres kerja; beban kerja memberi pengaruhnya secara substansial bagi stres kerja; dan stres kerja dapat memediasi lingkungan kerja dan beban kerja dalam memengaruhi kepuasan kerja.

Abstract

Setiap organisasi harus dapat mengelola sumber daya manusia yang tersedia. Mengelola sumber daya manusia erat kaitannya dengan faktor pegawai yang bisa mendapatkan tujuan organisasi. Ada beberapa faktor yang berimbas pada rendahnya kinerja pegawai di suatu organisasi sehingga penulisan artikel ini memfokus pada pengaruh motivasi, disiplin kerja maupun lingkungan kerja dengan komitmen merupakan variabel intervening. Hasil kajian pustaka dan memakai metode analisis SEM PLS sehingga mendapat konklusi motivasi memberi pengaruhnya bagi kinerja pegawai; disiplin kerja memberi pengaruhnya bagi kinerja pegawai; lingkungan kerja memberi pengaruhnya bagi kinerja; motivasi memberi pengaruhnya bagi komitmen; disiplin kerja memberi pengaruhnya bagi komitmen; lingkungan kerja mempengaruhi komitmen; komitmen mempengaruhi kinerja pegawai; motivasi, disiplin kerja, dan lingkungan kerja memberi pengaruhnya bagi kinerja karyawan melalui komitmen.
