Abstract

Islamic education is a compulsory subject in every educational institution. Students are expected do not only know theory of religion but they also understand, feel, and implement theory of religion. Therefore, evaluation instrument of affective domain for Islamic education subject need to be developed and taken care since there has not been any evaluation instrument yet which is particularly developed for Islamic education subject. So this research aim at developing evaluation instrument of affective domain for Islamic education subject that fulfill validity and reliability requirement. Population of research object is evaluation instrument of affective domain assessment and population of research subjects are Junior High School students in Samarinda. Sample of this research is taken by using stratified proportional random sampling technique. Referring to the instrument construction, the use of revised GBPP of Islamic education subject for Junior High School is considered as the correct option. Data collection was done by using questionnaire technique. Data was analyzed by using Iteman analysis technique to find out degree of validity and reliability. Data analysis result reveals Likert method questionnaire, from the test of construct validity shows cumulative variant value 90.4% or it can show 94% of theory construct which has been stated. Reliability coefficient obtained is 0.914 with 0.124 SEM value which indicate very good quality of affective domain instrument. The use of sentences in constructing Likert method instrument assisted respondents to respond the instrument well. In Likert method, constructing questionnaire takes long sentences so that the respondents feel tired to read those statements. Likert method require sequence of words to formulate a good and objective statement. The implementation is that in Islamic education subject require efforts to take the decision.

Abstract

Nanocellulose is one of the nanoparticles that is widely used in various applications such as the base material of bioplastics and nanocomposites. Because nanocellulose has several properties including high mechanical and high thermal properties, transparency and lightness. Nanocellulose is generally isolated from lignocellulosic biomass, which contains high cellulose, is abundant and relatively cheap. This study aims to synthesize nanocellulose from filter paper practicum waste in the Fundamental Chemistry Laboratory of ITS, which has not been optimally used. The synthesis method used is acid hydrolysis, namely inorganic and organic acids. The results of the nanocellulose synthesis in this study are as follows: hydrolysis with inorganic acid hydrochloric acid and sulfuric acid is round like a ball with an average diameter size below 100 nm, for hydrochloric acid the average diameter is 53,14 nm and sulfuric acid 42,08 nm, while hydrolysis with organic acid, formic acid and citric acid, nanocellulose is shaped like a rod with an average diameter of 36,80 nm for formic acid and 46,23 nm for citric acid.

Abstract

This study aims to investigate the variation of music presentation in Kafe Pelangi, Ulu Siau, Sitaro Regency, and its impact. The research method applied is a qualitative method with data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and document analysis. The collected data were classified, interpreted, and described using words. The results show that the presentation of music at Kafe Pelangi involves live performances and bands, which are supported by musical instruments, makeup, clothing, stage, and sound system. The variety of music presented includes slow pop, pop rock, jazz, dangdut, keroncong, R&B (Rhythm and Blues), and cha-cha. The function of the music presentation involves attracting visitors, providing livelihoods for musicians, and providing entertainment for visitors at Kafe Pelangi Ulu Siau.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to identify, classify and analyze the form and or construct choreographically of the Pisok dance. Qualitative research was conducted with several approaches, namely Ethno Art, role and presence, which used to describe the form of choreography by understanding the phenomena that become the awareness of the Minahasa people, also its relation to the role of the existence of Pisok as a New Creation Dance in the midst of the Minahasa people. The technique of data analysis used Ahimsa Putra theory. Choreographically, the Pisok dance was presented in single or group dance performances using the basic movements of bird dances in Minahasa, North Sulawesi, consist of basic traditional dance movements, from depicting the movements of birds flying, birds having fun with others by using the motion of the wings to flap in an agile way. It played by several female dancers in groups, usually is in an odd number. The motion vocabulary used was very simple, it describes; the basic pattern of the Pisok dance, the floor pattern or formation of the Pisok dance, the music used in the Pisok dance, and the make-up of the clothes worn on the Pisok dance. This Pisok dance is a reflection of the diversity and wealth of animals in Indonesia, which need to be preserved and developed both in terms of quality and in terms of dissemination to a wider audience.
