Abstract

This application was prepared with the aim to remind the ips learning outcomes of students of grade IV SDN 46 Buton through the application of cooperative learning strategies jigsaw model. The learning outcomes referred to in this study are ips learning outcomes. The type of research that is in the study is PTK. This research was conducted in the even semester of the 2021//2022 school year. The study subjects were students of grade IV SDN 46 Buton which amounted to 16 students. Data collection techniques use observations, tests, and documentation. Data analysis techniques are data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion withdrawal. The results showed an increase in the IPS learning outcomes of students in grade IV SDN 46 Buton, namely in the cycle by 66.66% (sufficient category), then in cycle II increased by 75% (good category). This is an increase of 8.34%. Thus the application of cooperative learning strategies jigsaw model can improve the ips learning outcomes of students of grade IV SDN 46 Buton

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas minat belajar melalui penerapan model pembelajaran mind mapping dengan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif. Metode penelitian ini yaitu jenis penelitian tindakan kelas. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah lembar observasi, tes dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah mereduksi data, menyajikan data, menarik kesimpulan dan verifikasi data. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan pembelajaran dengan menerapkan model pembelajaran Mind Mapping efektif dapat meningkatkan minat belajar siswa. Peningkatan yang dialami yaitu siswa menjadi terampil dan berani mengajukan ide atau pendapat selama pembelajaran berlangsung, tercipta rasa senang mengikuti pelajaran, serta terjalin kerjasama siswa dengan baik di dalam kelompok.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan hasil belajar dan pelaksanaan pembelajaran menggunkan metode eksperimen. Lokasi penelitian dilaksanakan di SDN 57 Buton dengan subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas V yang berjumlah 9 siswa. Jenis penelitian ini yakni Penelitian Tindak Kelas (PTK). Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan observasi aktivitas siswa dan tese evaluasi pada setiap siklus. Berdasarkan hasil analisis yang didapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat peningkatan aktivitas siswa dan hasil belajar siswa menggunakan metode eksperimen pada pelajaran IPA materi uji lemak pada makanan pada siswa kelas V SDN 57 Buton Tahun ajaran 2022/2023 pada sikluss I menunjukkan presentase tertinggi sebesar 79,5% pada indikator kehadiran, sedangkan presentase aktivitas siswa terendah sebesar 47,5% pada indicator kejujuran. Hasil belajar siswa siklus I siswa yang mencapai KKM dengan presentase sebesar 55,56%. Pada siklus II hasil observasi aktivitas siswa memiliki peningkatan yakni siswa mencapai di atas rata-rata dengan presentase 70%, dan untuk hasil belajar siswa meningkat dengan presentase sebeser 100%.

Abstract

Pendidikan abad 21 menjadi sistem pendidikan harus mampu mengikuti tuntutan perkembangan zaman yang menekankan pada kemampuan siswa untuk belajar dari berbagai sumber, merumuskan masalah, berpikir analitis, dan bekerja sama dalam memecahkan masalah. Salah satu implementasi pendidikan abad 21 pada proses pembelajaran ialah peningkatan kemampuan literasi Sains. Tujuan PKM ini ialah untuk peningkatan ketrampilan Sains sisw melalui penggunaan media Pop Up Book. Metode yang digunakan ialah pelatihan dan pendampingan. Kegiatan pelatihan dan pendampingan ini diikuti oleh guru dan siswa SDN 111 Buton. Kegiatan PKM ini terdiri dari tahap persiapan, tahap pelaksanaan dan tahap evaluasi. Kegiatan pelatihan dilakasanakan 1 hari. Kegiatan PKM ini menunjukkan bahwa orang guru yang mampu implementasi penggunaan media Pop Up Book untuk meningkatkan keterampilan literasi Sains siswa memperoleh persentase sebesar 71%, atau kategori baik dan yang belum mampu mengimplemnetasi penggunaan media Pop Up Book dalam meningkatkan keterampilan literasi Sains siswa memperoleh persentase sebesar 29% atau katergori kurang.

Abstract

This study aims to "Improve student learning outcomes on the subject matter of the volume of cubes and blocks through a contextual approach to the fifth grade of SD Negeri 2 Labalawa". This research is classroom action research (CAR) in 3 cycles, each cycle includes: planning stage, action implementation stage, observation stage and reflection stage. The subjects of this study were fifth grade students of SD Negeri 2 Labalawa in the 2020/2021 academic year totaling 25 students consisting of 11 male students and 14 female students. Based on the results of actions, observations, evaluations and reflections in each cycle, it can be concluded that through a contextual approach, the learning achievement of fifth graders at SD Negeri 1 Topa on the subject of cube and cuboid volumes can be improved. This can be seen from the increase in student learning outcomes who experienced completeness, namely in the first cycle as much as 45.94%, the second cycle as much as 64.86% increased to 89.18% in the third cycle. Teacher activity has increased, namely in the first cycle as much as 72.91%, the second cycle 77.77% in the good category and in the third cycle 91.66% in the very good category. Student activity has increased, namely in the first cycle as much as 60.41%, in the second cycle 73.95% in the good category and in the third cycle 86.45% in the very good category.

Abstract

Program LeasingĀ  (Literasi asyik dan menyenangkan) berbasis ilmuwan cilik di SD Negeri 115 Buton bertujuan meningkatkan kemampuan literasi sains siswa melalui pendekatan pembelajaran yang interaktif dan aplikatif. Program ini melibatkan serangkaian kegiatan, yaitu sosialisasi kepada siswa dan pelatihan yang dilakukan berupa implementasi praktikum uji kandungan makanan dengan melakukan uji karbohidrat, uji protein, uji lemak dan uji vitamin. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan bahwa program ini berhasil meningkatkan minat siswa SD Negeri 115 Buton terhadap Literasi sains serta kemampuan siswa dalam memahami konsep-konsep dasar sains melalui pendekatan praktis. Persentase peningkatan literasi untuk uji karbohidrat dari 45% mencapai 70%. Persentase peningkatan literasi uji protein dari 45% mencapai 75%. Peningkatan literasi sains untuk uji lemak dari 45% mencapai 65%, lebih rendah dibandingkan dengan uji lainnya. Hal ini mungkin menunjukkan bahwa siswa sedikit lebih sulit memahami konsep terkait lemak dibandingkan dengan nutrisi lainnya. Uji vitamin menunjukkan peningkatan tertinggi dalam literasi sains dari 45% mencapai 80%. Hasil pengabdian menunjukkan bahwa siswa paling mudah memahami materi yang berkaitan dengan vitamin dan fungsinya dalam tubuh.

Abstract

Writing scientific papers is an essential foundation in the academic sphere, requiring researchers, students, and academics to manage, refer to, and cite various sources that support their arguments and findings. Emerging as a solution to this challenge, Mendeley Reference has the potential to change the way writers manage references in the context of higher education. This Community Service Activity (PKM) aims to provide a more comprehensive understanding to students, especially those in the 7th semester of the PGSD major at the Teaching and Education Faculty of Buton Muslim University, regarding the benefits of using the Mendeley application in writing scientific assignments. This PKM is carried out through three stages: preparation, implementation, and evaluation. The evaluation results showed that most participants had a good understanding, but some required further training. The positive impact of the training can be seen in the academic and professional development of the participants. Therefore, as a follow-up, practical exercises will be intensified, increased structured discussions between participants and presenters, and gathering input from participants for future improvements. Overall, this training significantly contributes to providing students with essential skills in scientific writing and better preparation for future academic and professional challenges.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the implementation of character education in fifth-grade elementary school students, focusing on six main characters: religious, disciplined, honest, responsible, independent, and tolerant. A qualitative approach with a case study design was used to gain an in-depth understanding of character education implementation. Data were collected through participatory observation, in-depth interviews, and document analysis at Kaubula State Elementary School 1. The results showed that character education was effectively integrated into various learning activities and daily life at school. Religious character was instilled through joint prayers and celebrations of religious holidays, although the diversity of students' religions posed a challenge addressed with an inclusive approach. Discipline was enforced through strict yet fair classroom rules, with necessary support from parents. Honesty was enhanced through concrete examples and rewards for honest behavior, although negative influences from outside the school needed to be anticipated. Responsible character was developed through individual and group tasks, while independence was encouraged by providing students with opportunities to make their own decisions. Tolerance was fostered through cooperative activities and discussions that respected differences, although stereotypes and prejudices remained challenges. Overall, character education in fifth grade had a positive impact on students' development, helping them become more religious, disciplined, honest, responsible, independent, and tolerant individuals. The successful implementation of character education requires continuous support from all parties, including schools, teachers, parents, and the surrounding environment. A synergistic effort among various educational components is essential to ensure that character values are deeply ingrained in students, equipping them with a strong moral foundation to face future life challenges.

Abstract

Waste constitutes a significant issue encountered by numerous places in Indonesia. The waste issue remains inadequately addressed due to a disparity between the capacity of waste managers and the volume of garbage generated. In addition, the lack of public awareness to manage waste properly is a major obstacle. The Topa Pantai environment is one of the areas in Baubau City that is not free from waste problems. The purpose of this community service activity is to foster an attitude of environmental concern in the community through a chain message program, namely environmental waste management so that it is clean, comfortable, healthy, beautiful, and also beautiful as an effort to realize sustainable development. The activity was carried out in the form of socialization, training, and education in the Topa environment, and the local community (housewives) and students of Topa Elementary School were involved as partners. The activity was carried out through several stages, namely observation to find out partner problems, preparation, and planning of activities, implementation, and evaluation. The socialization and training activities were attended by 15 community partners (mothers), while for Topa Elementary School students, the community service activity was carried out in the form of socialization and education and was attended by 45 students as participants. This activity has had a positive impact on partners in the form of knowledge and skills about waste management. This result can be seen from the evaluation results 1) Partners (housewives) have been able to manage waste well as indicated by the existence of products produced from household waste management such as organic fertilizer from egg shells and crafts from plastic waste; 2) partners (students of Topa Elementary School) have knowledge about waste management where 84% (38 students) have a good understanding and 16% (7 students) also show a fairly good understanding, especially in terms of sorting waste according to type and the impact of waste management. Based on the evaluation results, it was concluded that the implementation of community service activities went well and smoothly in accordance with the objectives that had been set.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan penerapan media audio visual pada pembelajaran dan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa kelas V SDN 115 Buton. Pendekatan penelitian kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian deskripsi kualitatif. Desain pelitian ini dilaksanakan di SDN 115 Kecamatan Wabula Kabupaten Buton. Fokus penelitiannya yaitu siswa kelas V SDN 115 Buton yang berjumlah 12 orang siswa. Data dan sumber data yakni ialah data primer dan data sekunder.Teknik pengumpulan data meliputi wawancara, observasi, tes dan dokumentasi. Teknik keabshaan data menggunakan uji validitas internal, uji validitas eksternal, uji reliabilitas, dan uji objektivitas. Teknik analisis data yaitu reduksi data, penyajian data dan verifikasi data. Berdasarkan hasil disimpulkan bahwa: 1) penerapan model pembelajaran sudah sangat mendukung, terlihat pada proses pembelajaran belajar yakni dapat menarik perhatian siswa untuk belajar, 3) materi pembelajaran menjadi lebih jelas, dan mudah dipahami dan efektivitas pembelalajaran menjadi lebih efektif, 2) kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa kelas V SDN 115 Buton yakni yaitu 1) mampu memberikan penjelasan sederhana dengan memfokuskan pertanyaan, mengevaluasi argumen, bertanya dan menjawab pertanyaan menantang,; 2) mampu membangun keterampilan dasar dengan mempertimbangkan kredibilitas (kriteria suatu sumber), mengobservasi dan mempertimbangkan laporan observasi, 3) mampu menyimpulkan dengan mempertimbangkan hasil deduksi, mendeduksi dan keterampilan dasar dengan mengobservasi dan mempertimbangkan laporan observasi, 4) menjelaskan lanjut, mempunyai berbagai solusi atau alasan yang dapat digunakan untuk menyelesaikan soal atau permasalahan yang ada dengan logika dan relevan berdasarkan permasalahan yang dihadapi, 5) mengatur strategi sehingga, mampu untuk mengidentifkasi alasan dan menentukan suatu tindakan dengan memberikan alasan apa yang sesuai dengan permasalahan.
