Abstract

Kurangnya pemanfaatan media pembelajaran elektronik untuk dapat digunakan belajar secara mandiri menyebabkan siswa kurang termotivasi dalam belajar. Hal ini berdampak pada rendahnya hasil penilaian tengah semester siswa. Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengembangkan media pembelajaran E-KOMED (elektronik komik edukatif) topik siklus hidup makhluk hidup kelas IV SD. Jenis penelitian ini yaitu pengembangan. Model ADDIE menjadi patokan dalam tahap penelitian ini dikarenakan model ADDIE. Subjek uji coba penelitian ini adalah ahli materi, ahli media, ahli bahasa, guru praktisi, dan siswa kelas IV SD. Metode yang digunakan untuk mengumpulkan data yaitu kuesioner. Instrument yang digunakan untuk mengumpulkan data yaitu instrumen dengan rating scale skala 4. Teknik yang digunakan untuk menganalisis data yaitu analisis deskriptif kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian yaitu skor rata-rata dari ahli materi, ahli bahasa, ahli media dan praktisi secara berturut-turut sebesar 3,96, 3,90, 3,62, dan 3,90. Perolehan uji coba perorangan dan kelompok kecil sebesar 3,58 dan 3,36. Secara keseluruhan validitas media pembelajaran E-KOMED memperoleh kualifikasi sangat baik. Disimpulkan bahwa media pembelajaran E-KOMED layak untuk dipergunakan pada pembelajaran di Sekolah dasar. Implikasi pembelajaran ini guru memperoleh referensi baru mengenai media pembelajaran serta siswa dapat lebih mudah memahami materi karena siswa mendapatkan pengalaman dengan membaca komik secara langsung dengan topik siklus hidup makhluk hidup.

Abstract

The limitations of teacher skills in developing innovative learning media affect student learning outcomes in the subject of social and natural sciences. This study was conducted with the aim of developing a product in the form of an e-book to improve student learning outcomes, as well as analyzing the validity, practicality, and effectiveness of the product developed. This study is a development research with the ADDIE model. This study involved expert lecturers and fifth grade elementary school students. The data collection method used questionnaires and tests. Then the data was analyzed descriptively quantitatively and statistically. Quantitative analysis techniques were used to test the design and validity stages of the products developed. In addition, this technique is used to process data obtained through questionnaires as descriptive percentages. Then statistical tests were carried out through the t-test which is useful for testing differences in the average value of the calculation between two correlated sample groups and independent samples. The results of the study showed that the overall validity results of the development of e-book teaching materials had a very good percentage and were suitable for use in the learning process. Based on this, it can be concluded that e-book media based on problem based learning are effectively applied to the subject of social and natural sciences in fifth grade elementary schools. This research has a positive impact on teachers, namely expanding teachers' knowledge in developing and utilizing learning media in the learning process so that teachers do not predominantly use lecture methods.

Abstract

This study was motivated by the low achievement levels of students in the Natural and Social Sciences (IPAS) subject. This issue arises from the lack of instructional materials that adequately support the learning process. The research aims to develop a problem-based learning e-book for fourth-grade IPAS in elementary schools. This is a development study employing the ADDIE model, which consists of five systematic stages: analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The study involved three experts (content, design, and media) and nine students in a small-group trial. Data collection methods included interviews, observations, questionnaires, and tests. Data analysis employed qualitative and quantitative techniques, as well as inferential statistics. The results indicated that the e-book achieved "very good" qualifications in terms of validity and user response. Furthermore, the effectiveness test, based on t-test calculations, revealed significant differences in learning outcomes before and after using the problem-based learning e-book. The post-test scores exceeded the Minimum Competency Standards (KKTP), indicating that the problem-based learning e-book effectively improved the learning outcomes of fourth-grade students in the IPAS subject. The innovation of e-books based on problem-based learning in the content of the fourth grade science subjects in elementary schools has implications for increasing learning outcomes and student abilities in the content of science subjects with e-book teaching materials, and can hone teachers' abilities in the field of technology.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the less than optimal utilization of digital media, which affects student learning outcomes. This study aims to (1) Analyze the design of interactive multimedia development on Pancasila content for grade IV. (2) Analyze the validity of expert tests on learning content, learning design experts, learning media experts, individual trials, and small group trials on interactive multimedia products on Pancasila content for grade IV Elementary Schools, and (3) Analyze the effectiveness of interactive multimedia on Pancasila content for grade IV Elementary Schools after being used in learning. This research is classified as a type of development research using the ADDIE model. The subjects involved in this study were 3 experts and grade 4 Elementary School students. Data were collected using interview methods, observation, questionnaires and multiple-choice objective tests. Data analysis techniques were qualitative descriptive analysis, quantitative descriptive analysis and inferential statistical analysis (t-test). The study showed very good validation results: subject experts (95.5%), instructional media experts (94%), individual trials (92.44%), and small group trials (94.81%), while instructional design experts rated it good (88.75%). The effectiveness results showed that there was a difference in student learning outcomes after implementing interactive multimedia based on problem based learning on Pancasila content. It was concluded that interactive multimedia based on problem based learning is feasible and effective to be applied to Pancasila content for grade IV Elementary Schools. The innovation of interactive multimedia based on problem based learning has significant implications for the learning process.
