Abstract

Materi pokok PPKn menurut Kurikulum 2013 ada 4 (empat) yakni Pancasila, UUD 1945, Negara Kesatuan Republik Indonesia dan BhinnekaTunggal Ika. Materi Bhinneka Tunggal Ika merupakan materi baru jika dibanding dengan 3 (tiga) materi sebelumnya. Materi Bhinneka Tunggal Ika sebagai wujud filosofi kesatuan yang melandasi dan mewarnai keberagaman kehidupan bermasyarakat, berbangsa, dan bernegara. Materi Bhinneka Tunggal Ika membelajarkan siswa perihal sikap menghargai dan menghormati keragaman dan perbedaan dalam diri bangsa Indonesia. Materi BhinnekaTunggal Ika penting diberikan dalam rangka menumbuhkan sikap tolerensi, mencegah terjadinya intoleransi, diskriminasi dan gejala radikalisme siswa. Tujuan pengabdian adalah melatih dan mendampingi guru PPKn mengembangkan materi aspek Bhinneka Tunggal Ika berbasis isu aktual yang sejalan dengan Kompetensi Dasar berdasar Kurikulum PPKn 2013 jenjang SMP. Sejalan dengan tujuan tersebut, metode yang digunakan adalah workshop/pelatihan disertai pendampingan dengan menganalisis situasi dan kebutuhan, menetapkan tujuan, mendesain model pelatihan dan pendampingan. Sasaran kegiatan adalah guru-guru PPKn jenjang SMP di Kabupaten Sukoharjo. Hasil kegiatan adalah telah dilakukan pelatihan yang meliputi analisis KI, KD dan Indikator , pendalaman materi keberagaman, dan penyusunan materi kedalam bahan ajar dalam bentuk modul bagi siswa. Modul berisi pembelajaran materi BhinnekaTunggal Ika yang nantinya bisa digunakan guru dan siswa dalam wujud e-modul.

Abstract

Parental involvement in learning civic education is the key to success in learning civic education. Therefore, civic education teachers have a great interest in involving parents in achieving the goals of learning civic education in their class. This study attempts to provide an alternative means of implementing parental involvement in civic education learning. This study aims to classify the roles that can be played by schools, civic education teachers and also parents. From the review of articles on parental involvement theory and models, it can be classified the roles of schools, teachers and parents applicatively.

Abstract

Tujuan Penelitian ini adalah untuk (1) Mengetahui implementasi penguatan karakter kewarganegaraan di SMP Murni 1 Surakarta melalui pembelajaran PPKn dan (2) Mengetahui hambatan dalam proses penguatan karakter kewarganegaraan di SMP Murni 1 Surakarta melaui pembelajaran PPKn. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif, karena penelitian ini tidak membuktikan atau menolak suatu hipotesis akan tetapi data yang diolah di deskriptifkan dan lebih menekankan makna dari pada generalisasi. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu purposive sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data melalui wawancara, observasi, dan studi dokumen. Validitas data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan triangulasi data yaitu triangulasi data dan metode. Analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah dengan model Milles dan Huberman yaitu reduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa (1) Guru merancang RPP dengan memasukkan nilai-nilai karakter dalampembelajaran PPKn sebagai bentuk penguatan karakter kewarganegaraan, melakukan penguatan secara verbal dan non verbal baik dalam pembelajaran di kelas maupun di luar kelas, melakukan home visit untuk melihat lingkungan sekitar peserta didik, (2) Hambatan yang dihadapi oleh guru yaitu tidak adanya dukungan dari orang tua karena tidak memperdulikan perkembangan peserta didik, faktor ekonomi keluarga yang membuat peserta didik mempunyai sifat mudah membangkang karena keinginannya tidak terpenuhi, lingkungan tenpat tinggal peserta didik yang terkesan lingkungan kurang baik, dan peserta didik yang tidak kondusif pada saat pembelajaran di kelas. Kata kunci: penguatan, karakter kewarganegaraan, pembelajaran

Abstract

The purpose of this study are 1) to describe the implementation of strengthening tolerance values by Majlis Tafsir Al Qur'an (MTA) Center, 2) to describe the impact of strengthening the tolerance values by Majlis Tafsir Al Qur'an (MTA), 3) to know the supporting factors and the inhibitors of strengthening tolerance value by Majlis Tafsir Al Qur'an (MTA) as an effort to maintain the harmony between one and another religious groups. This study uses a qualitative research approach, this type of research is described qualitatively. The data sources are obtained from informants, places, events, and documents. Based on the results of this study, it can be concluded that (1) The implementation of strengthening tolerance values by Majlis Tafsir Al Qur'an (MTA) Center is carried out through recitation and activities in various fields such as: education, social, and health, which contain values the value of respecting, respecting, accepting differences, and mutual cooperation based on the Qur'an and the Sunnah, (2) The harmony between religious communities in the society is always guarded by Majlis Tafsir Al Qur'an (MTA), this is evidenced in the research findings where there is good relations between the congregation of the MTA and non-Muslim citizens around MTA, (3) The supporting factors of the strengthening of tolerance values in the Majlis Tafsir Al Qur'an (MTA) are: the value of tolerance in the Qur'an and the Sunnah (the Prophet's hadith) in the teachings of Islam, facilitates the strengthening of tolerance values that can be accepted by the congregation, the teaching material is conveyed in a language that is easily understood by worshipers, and the understanding of tolerance in MTA is relatively high. The inhibiting factors are: there is no study material that specifically made to discuss about the values of tolerance, the existence of a society that is easily provoked by issues and slander that develops so that it prevents MTA activities, and there are some individuals (Ex MTA) who vilify MTA. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui: 1) penguatan kesadaran berkonstitusi di SMA Negeri 1 Simo melalui kegiatan ekstrakurikuler “LCC 4 Pilar”; 2)  faktor pendukung dan faktor penghambat dalam menguatkan kesadaran berkonstitusi pada siswa melalui kegiatan ekstrakurikuler “LCC 4 Pilar”. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif.Pengumpulan data menggunakan wawancara, observasi, dan studi dokumen. Pengujian validitas data menggunakan model analisis triangulasi data dan triangulasi metode. Analisis data menggunakan model analisis interaktif.Kesimpulan hasil penelitian: 1) Penguatan kesadaran berkonstitusi di SMA Negeri Simo melalui ekstrakurikuler “LCC 4 Pilar” dilakukan dengan kegiatan a) Menghafal  Pasal-pasal dalam UUD NRI tahun 1945 sebagai sarana untuk memahami norma-norma dasar dalam konstitusi dan mengimplementasikan isi dari Pancasila dan Undang-Undang Dasar 1945. b) Musyawarah untuk menetapkan target hafalan sebagai sarana untuk berpartisipasi dalam penyelenggaraan Ekstrakurikuler. c) Outbond dan Mengikuti kompetisi sebagai sarana dalam rangka berpartisipasi mengisi kemerdekaan sesuai dengan kapasitasnya sebagai seorang siswa. 2) Faktor pendukung dalam kegiatan ekstrakurikuler adalah a) motivasi atau dorongan yang kuat dalam diri siswa, b) Komitmen dan rasa kekeluargaan yang sudah ditanamkan sejak pertama kalimasuk ekstrakurikuler, c) dukungan finansial ketika akan menghadapi lomba, d) sarana dan prasarana yang memadai, e) buku-buku materi yang memadai, f) dukungan motivasi yang didatangkan dari para alumni, mentor/pelatih yang kompeten. Faktor penghambat dalam kegiatan ekstrakurikuler adalah a) kegiatan yang cenderung membosankan, b) pengelolaan kegiatan cenderung kurang terkoordinir dan belum memiliki dokumentasi yang sistemasis, c) waktu ekstrakurikuler yang cenderung pendek Kata Kunci:  kesadaran berkonstitusi, Ekstrakurikuler “LCC 4 Pilar”

Abstract

The objectives of research were (1) to find out the forms of modelling in Personality Competency of Civic Education teacher in SMP Negeri 1 Mojolaban, and (2) to find out the implication of Civic Education teacher’s modelling to creating the students’ discipline character in SMP Negeri 1 Mojolaban. This research employed a qualitative research approach, with descriptive qualitative research type. Data source derived from informant, place, event, and document. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling one. Techniques of collecting data used were interview, observation, and document analysis. Data validation was carried out using data and method triangulations. Data analysis was conducted using an interactive model of analysis.  Considering the result of research, the following conclusions could be drawn. (1) The forms of role model in personality competency of Civic Education teacher were as follows: The personality of a disciplined teacher, democratic, patient, tolerant, broad-insight teacher personalities. (2) The implication of Civic Education teachers to the creation of students’ discipline character was as follows: the students could receive and imitate one of Civic Education teachers’  modelling, indicated with their coming early to classroom when the lesson began, students completing school attribute and uniform, students attending the lesson in the classroom and no truancy, students always attending flag ceremony, and maintaining the cleanliness at school. However, role model is the most decisive factor in creating the students’ discipline; it could be seen from the students showing the discipline character only in the classroom Civic Education teachers class VII while the other teacher’s class had not shown the discipline character yet.    Keywords: Personality Competency, Civic Education, Modelling, Discipline                                      Chara

Abstract

Learning at Islamic universities currently has challenges to utilize technology-based active learning. However, knowledge about the application of learning media based on active learning in Islamic higher education is still very lacking. So there needs to be a discussion about this. The purpose of this study was to determine the pattern of implementation and strategy of applying augmented reality based on active learning in Islamic universities. Based on the results of the study, it shows the implementation pattern and learning strategy of augmented reality-based on active learning in Islamic Universities as follows: First, it begins by considering the development of the application, knowing the types of active learning classroom, introducing augmented reality learning media and active learning, giving pictures and videos of learning materials using augmented reality for the process of individual reflection and the last stage is discussion and group work. The application of augmented reality in learning in Islamic higher education also attention to indicators of student participation behavior so that students have intellectual inquiry abilities and metacognition.

Abstract

The aim of this article is to elucidate a strategy for enhancing students' tolerance values through the implementation of the Nusantara Module activities as part of the Free Student Exchange Program at Muhammadiyah University of Makassar. This study employs a qualitative methodology, with data obtained from a range of sources, including informants, locations, events, and documents. Purposive sampling is employed as the sampling technique, with data collection techniques involving interviews, document analysis, and observation. The validity test technique utilized in this study comprises data source triangulation and method triangulation. The findings of this study demonstrate that the strategy to strengthen student tolerance values can be accomplished through a range of activities, including diversity, inspiration, reflection, and social contribution. These activities demonstrate that the Nusantara module activities leverage a value classification approach and a value analysis approach in their efforts to enhance students' tolerance values. The primary limitation of this study is its inability to assess online activities that may have been conducted.

Abstract

Self-control is one of the skills that is needed in the 21st century. Self-control affects students' skills in solving social environmental cues. The main foundation that gives strength to fend off external and internal bad things is the ability to control oneself. Student-oriented learning methods can increase the various abilities of students. The purpose of this study was to identify Problem-Based Learning as a learning method needed to improve self-control abilities in Islamic religious studies in high school. This research method is qualitative research with data collection procedures, data presentation, data reduction, and conclusions. Data were collected using three research instruments, namely observation, questionnaires, and inter-view guidelines. The results of the study show that: 1) The learning method that has been used in Islamic Education learning in high school, namely the expository method and students' self-control is low, 2) The learning method needed to increase student self-control in Islamic Education learning in high school is Problem-Based Learning, which is indicated by the duration of 135 minutes of study hours per week, the characteristics of Islamic Education subject that is relevant to the realities of life and train students to have good morals, the poor quality of Islamic Education Subject with an average learning outcome of 61.55, and 3) Learning methods that can improve students’ self-control in Islamic Education learning in high school is Problem-Based Learning by the character values that are formed in this method.
